I didn't think this event would be so massive in scale. This is round 5, meaning we are at about 280 images posted so far, and I still have 60 emails left. (I'll do the exact math some other time!)
Have some previous rounds!
I am considering making this a monthly thing, so for all of you who sent me emails begging me to extend the deadline, go ahead and take your vacation pony pictures anyway!
Enough of my blabbering, it's pony time!

ReplyDeletePinkie Pie in front of the White House...
#48: But the SR-71 wasn't a bomber... ah well.
ReplyDeletelook at ponies, then post comment
ReplyDeleteWow at #42
ReplyDeleteAmazing view!
Yay!! They took a picture of University city!! I study there wooooooo
ReplyDeleteHow long until we get fanfiction about Applejack being a Representative of Iowa?
ReplyDelete@Anonymous
ReplyDelete"Ah move that we replace the bur oak with the apple tree as the state tree!"
I'd totally make your fluttershy some glasses.
ReplyDelete"Fluttershy is mah waifu"
ReplyDeleteYay! My pictures are up today! Viva Las Vegas!
ReplyDeleteAlso, I remember #6 from when I was a kid. The Tornado was my favorite ride, because it didn't go upsidedown like the other one (I'm a coward).
I like that Fluttershy at #35. That looks too good to be an official toy.
ReplyDeleteSo close for that Applejack at the Stampede
ReplyDeleteI've been waiting for bronies in Times Square and the Statue of Liberty. And didn't someone ask for Calgary Stampede pics in the last issue. Joshua Tree National Park? I love Joshua Tree. Brony Park Ranges for the win! Guys I love this event so much. I'm totally with that Bjorn fellow. @Björn Samuelsson
ReplyDeleteI'd love to see this event come around again.
Brony who took the Towson photos. Greeting from fellow MD Bronies, especially my friend who is a fellow Towson goer. (Well was he graduated this past semester XD )
ReplyDeleteYay moar ponies!
ReplyDeleteI nominate "Trot Pilgrim" as new brony meme. Copy-paste the guy, blank expression with Pinkie on his head and all, into any image!
ReplyDelete#48 bothers me;
ReplyDeleteWhy does it say "bombs away" when blackbirds were used mainly for reconnaisance and hypervelocity scientific experiments/launching weather baloons. I mean they're cool planes, but cool doesn't have to be associated with violence.
If I were to put "bombs away" on a picture of a space shuttle, it would look out of place by comparison.
*balloons
ReplyDeleteYay! Missouri is finally getting some love!
ReplyDelete#11:
ReplyDeleteShoulda snapped a picture inside the mall.
You know. In front of the GIANT ROBOT MADE OUT OF LEGO BLOCKS. :P

Hooray for two more Minnesota pictures! \o/
ReplyDeleteOh yes, please do make it a monthly thing! I want to do this but I'm a shut in at the moment.
ReplyDeleteGotta give credit to #48. I used to go to the SAC Museum as a child, and I especially loved the SR-71. I think they moved it after I moved to Colorado though.
ReplyDelete@Dr. Henry Killinger
ReplyDeleteYay~ I'm not alone... or you were just visiting, but whatever!
Some one needs to do rarity and "what my destiny is a rock!" at Uluru.
ReplyDeleteJust saying, that would be epic!
Hay, I see a lot of New Yoke City here! You ponies coming to our Bronies-NYC meetup this upcoming Saturday??? :)
ReplyDelete@Anonymous
ReplyDeleteDarnit, I was beaten on the giant rock joke.
"Okay, but it's going to be hard to beat that giant rock... oh my God, another giant rock!"
More awesome places. And Fluttershy is certainly stylin' in that first pic.
Yeah another Filly brony!
ReplyDeleteWow! There's a lot more bronies in Mexico than I expected. Guess I'm not alone n_n
ReplyDeleteUauh! thanks so much to all the bronies who did a papercraft for the photos! thank you for your hard work!
ReplyDeleteJust seeing that there's another brony somewhere in the vast Oregon landscape warms my heart.
ReplyDelete@flashgen75
ReplyDeleteNope! I live up here too. When did you go down there, I was taking pictures last tuesday.
I doubt I will go down to the strip again though, at least not till college. Driving and trying to find a parking spot was too much of a challenge for me to attempt more then once.
Gasp! I forgot to mark my pictures (10 & 45) with the state! I only mentioned the town!!! New Ulm is in Minnesota.
ReplyDeleteDat Pinkie pie doll gets around.
ReplyDelete39, 40, 46
ReplyDeleteWoo! Mine finally got posted! Despite two of my pics being of NYC pic 39 is my actual hometown. I'm probably one of the five rare, endangered Maine bronies, hehe.
@PonyPonyPonyBrony That was me :3
ReplyDeleteI know that Paul Bunyan statue! Woo, another Mainer brony!
ReplyDelete@Puzzle Hooves
ReplyDeleteMy friend and I drove all the way from Boston to Washington DC to get all those pictures. We made Pinkie wave at some of the cars we passed. We got a couple of people to wave back. We encountered a bronette at the Liberty Bell. She complimented my Pinkie Pie doll then ran off. Also one of the other tourists who was walking by when we were taking the white house picture started singing the theme song.
you know, I've been to most of those places =D
ReplyDelete35 is incredible. I wish I lived anywhere near the Bridlemaids billboard.
ReplyDelete@Anonymous
ReplyDelete*Pine-Tree brohoof*
I should have mentioned my own brony encounter, in NYC. We were in the Times Square Toys r' Us, letting our kid pick out a pony toy. There was a guy looking over the endcap with the single figures. Our brony-senses must have been tingling because we struck up a conversation about the show with no hesitation. I'm proud to say I helped convince him to buy his first pony, I think it was Rainbow Dash. *insert 20% cooler joke here*
#31 speaking, I'm honored to have participated on this event. You can find a print quality copy of my postal at http://profesorrod.deviantart.com/#/d3pphbu suitable for a 4x6 card.
ReplyDelete@RoflLuxRay Really!? Yay! Brony Engineer here o/
@Shake OF COURSE. Cabronies are legion!
@kna And sure it was hard work @_@
#29 & 30 speaking
ReplyDeleteIts good to seemore people from Mexicolt ^^
First thing I thought when I say the SR-71 (#48) picture was that it wasn't a bomber. Guess I'm not he only one who thought that.
ReplyDeleteFratcow: Winwinwin.
ReplyDeleteI'm from an hour south of Springfield -- graduated from Macmurray in Jacksonville. Awesome to see some IL bronies.
I AM 2 and 5
ReplyDeleteWHO IS #13!!! YOU LIVE RIGHT BY ME!
Woo, Minnesota Represent!
ReplyDeleteSees "Bombs Away" Caption infront of Reconnaissance Air craft
ReplyDelete*twitch*

ReplyDeleteSome really nice ones in this load. "Twilight's Libraries of the World" - that could be a theme by itself! This was a very America-heavy round and I've never crossed the Atlantic so my tally's Fall 3, World 284. Must get out more.
ReplyDelete#20 hear.
ReplyDeleteLucky to have fellow pony-loving friend with a really nice camera ^_^
The photo came out excellent.
@Fall
ReplyDeleteOh, dear lordy, Fall. Then we'd end up with Pinkie's Bakeries of the World and Rarity's Boutiques of the World!
Looks more like Ponies around the Americas

I submitted mine really early on, how am I not in this?!
ReplyDeleteBULLSHIT.
ReplyDeleteTHERE ARE NO BRONIES IN NEVADA, LET ALONE RENO.
#33 When I searched for info about White Rock, I noticed that attractions in British Columbia are marketed with the slogan "Super, Natural British Columbia". Then I thought "Natural British Columbia that is simply super".
ReplyDelete#19 cracks me up.
ReplyDelete#48 Uh SR-71s are not combat aircraft their high-speed reconnoissance aircraft. There was however the YF-12A which was a fighter version that carried AIM-47 missiles and probably x2 20mm Vulcan cannons. Either way good pic :D
