These are all specifically designed with Iphone in mind, but I'm sure you can sneak them on to other OS's (At least the lock screen on android works!)
You can find them all at the deviant art gallery below, Two designs for each of the mane 6.

YES
ReplyDeleteOnly 1 was designed with the Iphone in mind, the other was designed for the Windows 7 Phone. I'm currently working on an android version since I received several requests for one last night.
ReplyDeleteAs twilight would say "YESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYES!!!!! YES!!"
ReplyDeleteThanks for the feature btw Sethisto.
ReplyDeleteI could always use more.
ReplyDeleteYes! I've been needing a decent wall paper for my iPod Touch.
ReplyDeleteNow, I just need a decal for it and it will be complete. :D
Now all I need is a phone of some sort...
ReplyDeleteHooray! Thanks for posting!
ReplyDeleteWell, time to get rid of Rainbow Dash doing her Why Wub Woo face and holding a gyrobowl
ReplyDelete@Spurs
ReplyDeleteBrilliant! I've been trying to figure out a good picture to put on my Android for a while now, but a custom made one would be great.
Wow, just as I get a computer and don't need my ipod anymore, and this comes up xD
ReplyDeleteStill getting them...
For the record, they don't really work with older phones. I wasn't really expecting them to fit anyway but I though that I might as well try.

ReplyDelete*Rainbow Dash is put on immediately*
ReplyDelete^
ReplyDeleteWhat wisp said.
It works nice with the finesse so im good ^^
@FirleycatWhat phone do you have? Downsampling for older phones should be a piece of cake
ReplyDeleteI'd like to see some Active wallpapers for my Android 2.2 phone... I don't have the skills to do it, but having Rainbow Dash hovering, flapping her wings with her mane and tail bobbing slightly... that'd be a pleasant sight to stare at behind my icons ;)
ReplyDelete@Spurs
ReplyDeleteNokia 3110 classic. When I said "old phones", I really meant it.
@Firleycat It should be easy to downsample for that. Once I finish my Android wallpapers (an hour or so),
ReplyDeleteI'll get these formatted for your phone.
Can the classic handle PNGs? or do i need to use JPGs for it?
My only conundrum now is a sort of mental lockdown that occurs when I have to start deciding *which* pony to use.
ReplyDeleteI'm not like most folks when it comes to the mane 6, I can only narrow it down to . . . 6 best ponies >.<
NAYC

@Spurs
ReplyDeleteIt can handle both though PNGs tend to go a little blocky if you go too close to them otherwise they are fine.
I wasn't expecting you to offer to do this. When you said about downsampling I was ready to go do it myself.
Twilight is going on my Windows 7 Phone immediately.
ReplyDelete@Firleycat
ReplyDeleteIn that case, go right ahead. I expect that It would look best if you used the Iphone backgrounds and cropped the pony and the text to a 4:5 Aspect ratio.
Android users can use "MultiPicture Live Wallpaper" to get different pony on every screen. I use it, works great. Also lets you set a different picture for your lock screen.
ReplyDelete@Spurs
ReplyDeleteAlright then, thanks. They are nice wallpapers by the way. I don't think I've said that yet.
@Spurs
ReplyDeleteAndroid wallpapers can be either 800x480 for newer devices and 4:5 aspect ratio for older ones.
@Arcane Scrollits 960*800 and 640*480 for wallpaper size generally on the Android. We were talking about the Nokia classic, an old old phone with a resolution of 128*160.
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of Android backgrounds, I'm currently uploading them as I type.
Pinkie Pie would go on my phone if I had one.
ReplyDeleteNO WAY! I was JUST planning to look up some iPhone backgrounds. This is too perfect. ^_^
ReplyDelete@Spurs
ReplyDeleteDepends on the wallpaper style, Androids can do multiple methods. If you use a non-scrolling background or a multiple background, it's 480x800. Also that for lockscreens and app drawer background.
Need HTC BG's but anyway the rainbow dash ones make a mean lock screen wallpaper!
ReplyDelete@Spurs
ReplyDeleteBwahaha. The 960*800 wallpapers are perfect. Thanks, man.
These are awesome! Putting them on my iPhone now.
ReplyDeleteWould these work on my Blackberry?
ReplyDeleteThat depends on what resolution your blackberry is. If it shares the same aspect ratio as one of the other's that I've done then yes.
ReplyDeleteThanks now I have a new Wallpaper for my iPod touch.
ReplyDeleteRainbow Dash is now on my iPod! :D
ReplyDeleteMy phone is now 20% Cooler with that badass rainbow dash wallpaper
