I think this would of been better without the snarky humor parts. Seriously. It was sounding good and I loved it up until the end with snark factor went up. the whole trollesta and season 2 references kind of killed the mood for me. Really wish more bronies would write stuff as if they were playing it in Canterlot. Would you really want to call Celestia Trollesta to her face?
Anyway, I never wrote the lyrics with the intention of this being serious or classy. If I ever parody something similar to this again, I'll try to keep it humor-free. Thanks for the love though, everyone~
@DavidReinold Yep, exactly this! Bart Howard wrote the song in 1954, but Sinatra didn't perform it until 10 years later. Another interesting fact is that the song's original title was "In Other Words" but everyone called it "Fly Me to the Moon" so the publishers officially change the name.
Well, I think that Princess Luna would be the kind to dare said that behind Celestia back. I have two other siblings and I can said that some really mean nicknames were said in moment of rage.

ReplyDeleteSo much win. Loved Frank and the original song. Even better with ponies.
ReplyDeleteAnd this guy's singing ain't half bad either.
Now all we need is My Way and we're good.
ReplyDeleteWow. This is actually really good. I feel like I need to do something!
ReplyDeleteThis is Frank Sinatra's world. You and me, we just live in it...
ReplyDeleteI never expected that Frank Sinatra, and his famous song would be great when it involved ponies. I wonder what song this guy will use next.
ReplyDelete"Oh, woe is me... No appearances? On to Season 2."
Classy, brah. Love it.
ReplyDeleteI firmly believe that Octavia was playing in that song.
ReplyDeleteShould've brought the volume of your voice up on that ending.
ReplyDeleteAnd try going deeper.
It's very good, but it would make it even more amazing if your voice was just a tiny bit deeper.
ReplyDeleteThis was great :)
