Another awesome racing theme! These songs always bring back nostalgia, even if they aren't pointing at any of my old favorite games.
What ever happened to the jingles of old? Confound this xbox.
1.) Junior Speedsters Camp Racing Theme
2.) Cutie Mark Crusaders (Trance Mix)
3.) The Rise of Luna

ReplyDeleteI'm diggin' the Luna one.
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed #3.
ReplyDeletecurse your constant posting! it distracts me from my work...
ReplyDeletealso, i liked the racing theme :)
1 and 3 were very nicely done.
ReplyDeleteFor reference, the first song WAS on the demo reel posted a while back. Obviously not in its full form though.
ReplyDeleteSomeone needs to take all this racing music and put it in a game.
ReplyDeleteluna's music is always good
ReplyDeleteWhat does the second one have to do with MLP?
ReplyDelete#2 was too long and seemed to be repetitious at the begnning any ways so I didn't listen to the full thing. the other two were good though, only when #1 ended did I realize I was bobbing my head to the beat. #3 was a good continuation of Luna's story, by music.
ReplyDelete#1 has an interesting syncopation and sounds a bit like something that might be played on Parent's Night at Band Camp.
ReplyDelete#3 is very Disco-ish, but sounds nice.
Why does #3 remind me of the game B.O.B.?
ReplyDeleteWow, I really really liked the Junior Speedsters Racing Theme. It was a fun little beat.
ReplyDeleteSecond was okay. Typical trance/techno stuff. lol
The Rise of Luna was alright too.
1) Pretty awesome.
ReplyDelete2) Okay, but not my cup of tea.
3) I HAVE BEEN LOOPING THIS SONG FOR THE PAST THREE HOURS AND HAVE NO INTENTION TO STOP.
Are all the racing themes being made for a games that is coming out or just for the hell of it? There has to be something to it.
ReplyDelete@Fall
ReplyDeleteRemix of the Cutie Mark Crusaders theme song
FOR THE REPUBLIC.
ReplyDeleteI've got the Luna one on loop for work music.
ReplyDeleteThe Extra Credits guys actually answered that one, Seth.
ReplyDeleteAs a band geek, I thoroughly enjoyed #1
ReplyDeleteI really liked the first one. :)
ReplyDeleteSeriously, do the racing themes remind anyone of spyro the dragon? That horn takes me back to the very first game!!
ReplyDelete#1 sounds like it should be in Diddy Kong Racing.
ReplyDeleteThat first one. Wooo... no wait, that third one XD
ReplyDelete1) Because it was dubbed a "racing theme" I tried to think of a game it could go in. I decided Diddy Kong Racing. Probably in the Dragon Forest or Future Funland groups. Oh gosh, I've played that game too much :|
ReplyDelete2) 7:49? You crazy kids. It was pretty mellow, which is a nice change of pace in this case.
3) LUNA! /)^3^(\ *clicks* I'll give you this: there is nothing wrong with it. It's great "noise" music for when you're busy, just not great Luna Playlist material (which I have, btw) :)
And again, curse you Wierdplatformer!
Hey guys, glad you all liked my little Luna project! Definitely look forward to getting some more tracks up there (especially as I become more versed in FL Studio). Brony for life.
ReplyDeleteThanks for all of great comments! The Cutie Mark Crusaders rmx was the first song that I produced in Reason, and I think that it came out alright. The melody from the song in the show is great, and I think it lends itself well to trance. The lyrics, on the other hand, were not so good obviously, however, there is the original version with the lyrics on my soundcloud (link in description of youtube vid). I will probably be making another MLP song in a different style that I hope everypony will love!
