It's time to think wayyy back to months ago when brand new official content was gracing out monitors and TV screens. If you came from /co/, the best part of the week was always the thread during, or right after, the official airing of a new episode on The Hub. The amount of 20+ year old's squeeing like 12 year old schoolgirls over every little detail was beyond entertaining.
I'm pretty sure most of us went nuts when Derpy Hooves first popped up during Feeling Pinkie Keen, but what else made you blow your mind?

Seeing Twilight become Rapidash...
ReplyDeleteAll of it. It was all awesome.
ReplyDeleteFirst?
Grudge rhymes with fudge.

NAAAAAO.
Also, pic already been used, no?
And I say, the dragon. He reminds me of my uncle. x
Pinkie deflates into the "omg I want to hug her and make it all better" Pinkamena. (Also goes from my least to most favorite among the main cast)
ReplyDeleteSonic Rainboom FTW !!!!!
ReplyDelete@Anonymous
ReplyDeleteD'oh, ninja'd.
Sonic rainboom. That scene was legitimately epic, and I can't say that for most TV shows. The fact that a cartoon pulled it off was even more impressive.
ReplyDeleteWhen I found out Spike's idea of "subtle evil plan" was to dress like Snidely Whiplash and twirl his fake mustache.
ReplyDeleteFlutterage is a close second.
FlutterGuy, Best Moment in Television
ReplyDeleteFlutterguy
ReplyDeleteApplejack in a sleep deprived stupor.
ReplyDeleteBeyond amazing.
Flutterage.
ReplyDeletesuch an incredible 180 from the cute and lovable Fluttershy.
The puns. Definitely the puns.
ReplyDeleteCan I say all parts?
ReplyDelete@anonymous
ADD ME!! =D
Watching the Sonic Rainboom scene for the first time was pretty holy-shit-that's-awesome inducing.
ReplyDeleteTrollestia. Nuff said.
ReplyDeleteAppletini. I'm with Phoe, tiny ponies are the cutest ponies. I just want to squeeze them!
ReplyDeleteThe fact is pays homage to the good cartoons that used to grace our TV's in the 90's. When conflict and diversity was played out in full blown humor, yet was able to teach something in the background or just plain fun! Greatly looking forward to Sesion 2, as I'm sure every Brony is as well. =D
ReplyDeleteSONIC RAINBOOMS 1 AND 2
ReplyDeleteThe Winter Wrap-Up song. Most "kids cartoons" use their intro theme with new lyrics or some such crap, or really phone in the "songs" done in the middle of the show. My mother was really into plays and Broadway stuff, so I grew up on a diet of musicals and the like. To see a cartoon pull out all the stops and unleash a truly memorable song, that I found myself humming hours later, was truly something special.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed this entire series, and in all honestly, there were more valleys than mountains because it was easier to notice when something WASN'T working than when it was all awesome... cause it was.
ReplyDeleteFluttershy is my favorite for a reason. Her introduction cemented my bronydom, and her cheering at the beginning (and end) of Sonic Rainboom made her best pony in my eyes.
The Rainboom itself was a great moment. As was any point Fluttershy used 'The Stare'. Also, the musical numbers were particularly charming in my eyes, specifically 'Winter Wrap-up' and 'Art of the Dress'.
It's difficult for me to point out my 'favorite' parts, but this series is just charming, and I love it.
Hearing Pinkie Pie say, "YOU HAVE TO TAKE A LEAP OF FAITH!", I never thought I would hear a childrens show say that. It blew my mind...
ReplyDeleteThe Sonic Rainboom episode. I really felt connected to Rainbow Dash in that episode because that's how I always felt whenever I had a huge race for Cross Country or Track, or really whenever I was in the limelight. Like her I would always be so scared but I would find the energy inside me to succeed and blow everyone away with my skills. That's how she became my favorite pony. :)
ReplyDelete@MihailK
ReplyDeleteApplejack in a sleep-deprived stupor.
That's not "beyond amazing", it's WINNING!
Oh definitely Fluttershy's reaction to the sonic rainboom. i think i squealed just as hard when i first saw it!
ReplyDelete@forgotten sin
ReplyDeleteI don't know about you, but Flutterage made me go "awww, you're so adorable Fluttershy. I love you!"
*pretends to hug Fluttershy*
What blew me away was right in the first episode and it's also the reason Rarity is my favourite pony. When Twilight and Spike first meet her, she's facing away from them, and she turns slowly around with this lovely multi-step shuffle. That told me that the animators really cared about what they were doing. Instant brony.
ReplyDeleteRarity's Art of the Dress song was the moment that really, truly sold me on the show. Suited for Success was the third episode I watched, after the premier two-parter, and up to that point I certainly thought the show was cute and smart and well-animated. That song and Rarity's adorable breakdown and contemplation of exile made me an instant fan for life!
ReplyDeleteEasy question.
ReplyDeleteThis: http://i.imgur.com/mPez7.jpg
Awww man, I'm not an old enough brony to take full part in this discussion. By the time I was watching they only had 2 more episodes to air until the season ended :\
ReplyDeleteWell I guess the one main part in the show that made me go "OH MY GERD NO WAY" was when Dash did the Sonic Rainboom and completely shattered my cool-ometer. Mainly because I realized that moment just came from My Little Pony. Another similar feeling moment was Pinkie's schizophrenic breakdown, I thought that was really dark to be putting in the show but still added a layer of depth to her that I love to this day, and watching Pinkie Pie hallucinate was, and still is, chilling.
I guess if we're also talking community wise, another part that blew my mind was the first drawfriend I ever looked at. So much amazing fan art from so many talented artists out there was just mind-boggling to comprehend, as well as the first time I listened to Eurobeat brony. I guess just the community as a whole just blew my mind, and continues to do so.
Spike framing owowlicious for murder complete with fake blood and a mangled "body". Never expected that in a cartoon
ReplyDeleteWinter Wrap Up. I shed a lot of manly tears after that song ended because of how amazingly high quality it was, it reminded me of songs from 90's Disney movies and just sparked a lot of old memories where me and my sister would spend ages watching Hercules, Lion King and too many classics for me to remember right now. Infact, theres a little baseroom at my current college where me, some friends and some learning support assistants would relax or do coursework, I offerd to put on some music and Winter Wrap Up was the first song I played. Everyone loved it, and thats how I made 5 people into Bronies without them knowing about it. :D
ReplyDeleteThe song Winter Wrap Up is what sealed the deal on the show as a whole for me. Up until that point I was enjoying the show, but wasn't yet ready to toss my preconceived notions of manliness aside.
ReplyDelete"Alright, I'll watch another pony episode... wait, they just burst into some sort of musi... oh my GOD, this is AMAZING. How... what... what?" and then for the first time in my first watchthrough I actually skipped back and rewatched a scene before the episode was over.
The revelation that Twilight Sparkle was an X-pony when she was a filly.
ReplyDeleteProbably Flutterguy.... wait, no. The rainboom....
ReplyDeleteNope! Scratch's 3 seconds of fame! She better get some screen time in season 2.
Pinkie Pie being Pinkie Pie. It's like watching a clone of me run around. =3
ReplyDeleteSeeing Rarity for the first time,
ReplyDeleteFlutterguy,
Celestia randomly appearing at the end of "Feeling Pinkie keen".
The fact that I loved it.
ReplyDeleteDragon: But that rainbow one kicked me!
ReplyDeleteRainbow: ^_^
Fluttershy: And I am very sorry for that.
Rainbow: o_O
@Basharoonskis
ReplyDeleteThat's when I started watching, too. The show doesn't air over here yet, and my brother first mentioned the show when only the first 24 episodes were up on Youtube. 25 was up by the time I got that far so it was a hell of a week waiting for the last one.
All of the musical numbers. They're so damn catchy. And I can thank them for almost making me fail a few of my exams during the winter semester. I hope the songs in season two are just as catchy.
ReplyDeleteI liked the most when pinkie pie became pinkamina.I like her depressed hair much more.I liked the part when Nightmare Moon became Princess Luna. :P
ReplyDeletehow equestria was made
ReplyDeleteFluttershy telling that dragon off.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely Fluttershy going insane at the Gala.
ReplyDelete@Shade Tail This. So much this.
ReplyDeleteI took me a while to really get into the show... but when I heard Applejack say "Heavens to Betsy" for the first time, it was over. They got me. I'm just in love with her accent. (Not to mention all the other qualities of the show)
ReplyDeleteComedy. Just comedy, cuz there is loads of it!
ReplyDeleteNAYC!
In all honesty?
ReplyDeleteDoctor Whooves.
Psycho Pinkie in Party of One, all the way xD
ReplyDeleteTwo words: At the Gala.
ReplyDelete@Fire Flash
ReplyDeleteLOL! Same!
seeing a cockatrice appear was pretty amazing.
ReplyDeleteseriously, how often have you seen a cockatrice show up in a kids show? Who'd have thought you'd see one in a My Little Pony cartoon, of all things.
Rarity whining. So awful and yet so hilarious.
ReplyDeleteI like ponies.
ReplyDeleteFor me the moments that amazed me were:
ReplyDelete1) Derpy's upgrade from a simple background Pony
2) Flutterage
3) The various mythical creatures they had on the show.
Ven ze Spike chap vent all evil.
ReplyDeleteYou remember, ven he got ze fake mustache?
Yes, zat vas great.
What Amazed me was the character design, the character's personalities and flawless voices, the well thought out plots and story, and how every episode was just amazing and how non really disappointed me. I've yet to see a series where I can say the whole season was perfect and as and animator I can sit here and dissect this show piece by piece and explain how good this show is and why in animation terms but I be here all day. I think I said enough, Oh and Pinkie Pie is my whole reason for living right now hehehe!!! =XD
ReplyDeleteOnce upon a time l, in the magical land of Equestria, there were two regal sisters who brought harmony across the...
ReplyDeleteWhen Twilight couldn't control her magic in the Cutie Mark Chronicles
ReplyDeleteI loved it when Twilight had her break down as Ponyville was being devoured by the Parasprites, and then only to be saved by the one-pony band Pinkie Pie.
ReplyDeleteAlso loved that reaction from Celestia as the Parasprites bounced by.
As I've stated before, Derpy's appearance in Feeling Pinkie Keen and the reaction of the fandom to it is what got me to start watching, so... Not that.
ReplyDeleteTwo things will always stand out to me. Pretty much the entire episode of Sonic Rainboom. That gave her so much depth. She totally looses it, and when she is laying on the floor, shaking with fear... And yet, she climbs out of it. On her own. Without help. That show some serious inner strength. Of course, the Sonic Rainboom was simply epic. I'm sure that, like many other bronies, I was cheering just as loud as Fluttershy was after that. And Fluttershy cheering as loud as that was also awesome. Rainbow's reaction to everything after that... All of it was just epic.
Second scene was Fluttershy using the Stare on the cockatrice. Oh... My... God. That was one of the most awesome things I have ever seen. And the reason why Fluttershy is my favourite pony (just slightly ahead of Rainbow and Pinkie). I mean, seriously. She engages a cockatrice in a staring contest. And she wins. I have no words to describe the amount of awesome in that scene. It still gives me goosebumps.
There are other great moments of course. Twilight vs the Ursa Minor. The dragon chasing Spike in Owl's Well (awesome animation). Twilight during Look Before You Sleep. AJ putting the cucumber slices over Rarity's eyes at the end of the episode (Best AJ moment of the entire season, and its just... so much her!) The CMC song on stage. Fluttershy's introduction in the first ep (to cute!). Pinkie deflating in Party of One (cutest moment of the entire show... I just want to hug her and tell her its ok). And many, many more. But those two I started with... yeah, they stand out.
I would have to say Sonic Rainboom, and Zecora.
ReplyDeleteAnd all of it.
One was when me my friend were both shocked to find out the Pinkie Pie didnt set all those pranks on the griffen, we were both sure, and for a show like this to pull something like that on us, was pretty cool.
ReplyDeleteAlso, the Sonic Rainboom, enough has been said about that :)
Last, and my favorite part, was finding out the orgin stories of our mane6 getting there cutie mark. I love backstory, so to learn more about them was great!
I had a fangasm when Cupcakes became canon
ReplyDeleteIn regards to the post image, she's going to get fisted by Malcolm McDowell.
ReplyDeleteWhile there are several scenes that impressed me immensely, such as the entire Winter Wrap-Up song (I normally hate musicals), the scene that probably got the biggest WOW reaction out of me was Rarity vs the Diamond Dogs. I was dying was laughter. Simply brilliant writing. =D
ReplyDeleteWell, I thought the Sonic Rainboom was pretty cool. (Well, really cool).
ReplyDeleteBut what really did me in were the moments when the established characters revealed deeper facets and quirks of their personalities, especially Dash's fear in the aforementioned episode and Pinkie Pie's breakdown in Party of One.
Fluttershy in general, but especially the Flutterguy and Flutterage moments.
ReplyDeleteRarity's whining at the Dogs and telling Blueblood off.
And Celestia simply telling Twi to run after seeing the Gala go to pot.
Hearing Flutterguy and laughing my ass off,
ReplyDeletefinding out there is a hydra in the show,
Rainbow Dash being launched into the air in Applebuck Season (I still expect a twinkle when she disappears into the sky...)
Finding out the girliest episode (suited for success) was actually more focused on executive meddling than a fashion show.
Actually, I fell in love with the show when I caught the premiere (when they aired the first two episodes). But I got busy right after that and lost track of things. I'm glad somebody started a thread on this gaming site I visit and linked to a Youtube channel with the whole season. I was really blown away by the fact the quality kept up through the whole season.
ReplyDelete#1: Rainbow Dash saves Rarity and three wonderbolts with his sonic rainboom. One of the most terrifying, fascinating, inspiring, and heart-wrenchingly beautiful scenes I have seen in a TV show, let alone a cartoon.
ReplyDelete#2: Fluttershy screaming at all the animals at the GThe most perfect out of character moment possible.
#3: Flutterguy singing Pinkie's song. No explanation needed.
#4: Pinkie becomes multiple-personality-disorder pony. A creepy and satisfyingly mature scene.
#5: Rainbow and Apllejack's moment of pure friendship at the very end of "Fall weather friends". What can I say, I'm nuts over Appledash and I'm a helpless romantic.
#6: Winter wrap-up. Best song ever.
You know all those little sounds they throw in? Like when Fluttershy falls over in Dragonshy and you hear a bleat. Or when Twilight just escapes the Hydra and gives that goofy grin. Little things that you might not notice made this show for me
ReplyDeletederpy, 20% cooler, sonic rainboom, Angry fluttershy, Vinyl scratch and a lot more things i can't remember
ReplyDeleteThere were so many great moments in the first season.
ReplyDeletePsycho Pinkie
Several Fluttershy moments (Flutter Rage, Flutterguy, telling off the dragon and when Twilight first met her).
Rainbow Dash in almost everything she does.
Twilight Sparkle making a Blazing Saddles reference.
Applejack being sleep deprived.
Rarity whining.
And so many more great moments.
What blows my mind is that I still can't decide if Pinky planned Gilda's outbust in "Griffon the Brush-Off" or not. "Party of One" just muddied the issue even more.
ReplyDeletePinkie's mind breaking blew my mind.
ReplyDeleteFlutterage was pretty epic, but I'd have to go with the Over a Barrel episode. I usually keep a poker face when watching television, but that episode made me laugh hard. There are some pretty darn good jokes in that one, which is why it remains my favourite episode. It also had the series' best conversation in it:
ReplyDeleteRD: When we get to Appleloosa, you think we'll have to carry that heavy tree all the way from the train to the orchard?
PP: What tree? You mean Bloomberg?
RD: ... No... Fluttershy. (sarcastic)
PP: Fluttershy's not a tree, silly!
TS: What's going on?
PP: Rainbow Dash thinks Fluttershy's a tree!
RD: I do not think she's a tree! I was just –
TS: Did you saayy she was a tree?
RD: No. Well.. Yes. But not exactly –
TS: Ya know she's not a tree, right?
PP: She's not a tree, Dashy!
FS: I'd like to be a tree!
Spike: Oh for pete's sake!
(from the MLP:FiM Wiki's transcripts)
Yesyesyesyesyesyesyesyesyesyesyesyes....yesyesyesyesyesyesyesyesyesyesyesyesyesyes.....
ReplyDeleteYes.
If I could point to a moment that was really my "Brony Moment" it was the Winter Wrap Up song. That was when I went from watching just another cartoon, albeit one that I was enjoying immensely, to watching something I found to be groundbreakingly original, and amazing, if you will. Also, flutterrage was just a shock, freaking hilarious.
ReplyDeleteListening to filly Rarity yell at her horn for dragging her out to a rock and watching Twilight upstage the Great and Powerful Trixie.
ReplyDeleteCome to think of it, most things involving Twilight were pretty damn awesome. For a character allegedly targeting 12 year old girls, she's pretty relatable/fun to watch.
I completely forgot: #3.5: Twilight Sparkle: "We need to make an exact replica of Ponyville, we have one minute".
ReplyDeleteBlazing Saddles FTW.
Woohoo, Cupcakes, Candy, and Pie, Oh My!
ReplyDeleteThe constant varied and often hilarious facial expressions of the cast, both mane and background. They very rarely re-used expressions, and honestly they were all so very exploitable.
ReplyDeleteMy absolute favourite moment was probably Party of One, after Pinkie's gone completely off the deep end and her 'friends' appear to be talking independently of her.
Then it zooms out and you see her leaning over, under and across the table to move them while putting on all the accents.
I spent the rest of the episode laughing.
What really sold me on this show was during the second episode, when Pinkie Pie starts singing her first musical number. Twilight's reaction pretty much said it all; 'Tell me she's not...' That demonstration of self awareness in the cartoon definitely pulled me in as a Brony. For all of her subsequent musical numbers, Pinkie Pie continued to leave the rest of the cast speechless =D
ReplyDeleteI wold say that the whole show. Becuse I wolud never, in my must f*** up dream believe that I would see a show with pony's a stuff. But here I am still loving the show and all it craziness.
ReplyDelete@Someonelse
ReplyDeleteActually, if that counts as a :blew my mind" moment than that is definitely mine too. My favorite scene in the entire season.
The cold open to Griffon the Brush-off, with Pinkie bouncing off after Dash in an homage to Pepe le Pew.
ReplyDeleteThe repeat of that chase in Party of One makes it even more awesome.
@Brony Neumo
ReplyDeleteThat reminds me.
My #2 is when that house falls down right after Twilight says that. Comedic timing gold!
Flutterguy's rendition of "Evil Enchantress!"
ReplyDeleteNever expected to hear a song in this show that I could sing myself. I still end up humming it randomly, much to the joy/chagrin of my friends.
Also, the scene where all that stuff falls on Twilight. I grew up on Loony Tunes!
Flower pot? Okay.
Anvil? Ha! Classic!
Piano? Yes!
Wagon cart? Overkill! Where is all this stuff coming from?
Derpyyyyyy!
And then she's all better two scenes later.
The Pepe le Pew homage in "Griffon the Brush Off"
ReplyDeleteThis shit right hurr:
ReplyDeletehttp://i.imgur.com/Cv0az.jpg
Hrms... favorite moments.... alright, by pony, in order that they were introduced(Mane 6 only)
ReplyDeleteTwilight Sparkle: The little hoppy dance she did as a filly in her flashback that is now a gif, so freaking adorable!
Pinkie Pie: Both times she found something in Twilights Library like... instantly, that and her snapping out of her psycho mode, just felt like a good moment.
Applejack: Appletini, just everything she did as it becuase it was adorable, including trying to beat up Zecora's ear xD, oh, also, her being revieled in her GGG outfit, not as fancy as the others, but fit her perfectly.
Rainbow Dash: Her intro, the crash, the "help", and 10 seconds Flat... perfect introduction to the awesome pegasus.
Rarity: Her happy reactions, always make me laugh, the laugh she does when she sees the light go through her wings, and right after Photo Finish Leaves her shop the first time, she is usualy so proper that these slight lapses in proper behavior really stick out to me.
Fluttershy:... Just... everything! Seriously... she is the cutest thing EVER! From the very first time you see her till the very last, she screams adorable, even when she rages, critics, or when she snapped at the end! It was all Great!
Outside of those, I would say my favorite moment was Celestia and Luna's sisterly bonding moment.
Since I HAVE to pick one, and can't be very constructive by just saying "all of it"...
ReplyDeleteFlutterrage.
There were a couple of things for me
ReplyDeleteThe sonic rainboom. Holy awesomeballs batman, that was cool! Actually, the whole episode was pretty great. But that rainboom! I mean, you know it's coming, and it's *STILL* awesome.
Fluttershy at the end of Dragonshy. "You do not - I repeat - you do *NOT* HURT MY FRIENDS!"
There were a ton of things I enjoyed during the first season, but those two moments were the ones that gave me chills and made me actually cheer at my TV.
So many mind-blowing moments! Here's a list from me:
ReplyDelete1) Sonic Rainboom. 'Nuff said.
2) Pinkie Pie's hair deflating when she got depressed.
3) Winter Wrap-up - CATCHIEST song EVAR!
4) Pinkie Pie promises (cupcakes in eyes, elaborate schemes to hide keys, and popping out of baskets of sponges or apples)
5) At the Gala. I gained instant and lasting respect for Daniel Ingram, and started paying close attention to the credits.
6) Feeling Pinkie Keen. So many lovely homages there to Chuck Jones.
7) Rarity driving the Diamond Dogs nuts with her demonstration of whining.
8) Yay.
9) Philomena bursts into flames. WTF??!! Oh, wait a minute...
10) "But that rainbow one kicked me..."
11) And then, out of nowhere... PINKIE GLOMP!
12) Art of the Dress - This episode is about fashion design? Why am I enjoying this? Oh, this song... I understand now!
So many more, but those are the ones that stand out in my mind at the moment. ^_^
The thing that blew my mind the most was Pinkie's mental breakdown in Party of One. Did not see that coming and it genuinely freaked me out seeing that. That and Flutterage.
ReplyDeleteThe Sonic Rainboom was the most epic thing i've seen in a cartoon ever.
ReplyDeleteTwilight asking "Does this count as camping?" after having a massive tree fall through her window.
Fluttershy glomping Pinkie in "Over a Barrel".
DA MAJECKS!
Fluttershy's scream.
So many great moments, it's too hard to pick just one.
I'd have to say the fan-base, I've always been into shows that might be the "manliest" like The Power Puff Girls and so on. I was very reluctant to even attempt to watch the show by myself but after seeing such a large fan-base of 18+ man and woman saying publicly they too watch and love the show. And it all goes to show that being yourself is always easier then trying to impress everyone around you.
ReplyDeleteSweetie bell dancing on the moon.
ReplyDeleteWhat really surprised me was all of the references they used of older tv shows. There was a Pepe le Pew reference with Pinkie chasing Rainbow Dash around. There was a Benny Hills reference to its theme song while still keeping its own unique sound to it, and I do believe there was a Blazing Saddles reference in "Swarm of the Century" when Twilight wanted everyone to make an exact replica of Ponyville. It's great to hear references that only adults would understand.
ReplyDeleteRarity doing her whining to the Diamond Dogs and Twilight literally getting on a soap box to make a speech. Those moments made me laugh out loud, and that's very hard to do for me.
ReplyDeleteTwilight's alliteration joke in Episode 4 really sealed the deal for me. You almost never hear good wordplay-based humor anymore, and I am a big fan of wordplay.
ReplyDeleterainbow dash singing on at the gala when her parts came up on winter wrap up and art of the dress were meh but in that song the only thing i can compering it to is Bruce Dickinson dropping the bomb that is the chorus in Paschendale
ReplyDeleteFlutterguy singing Evil Enchantress, Rarity manipulating the Diamond Dogs, and anything involving Sweetie Belle being adorably stupid.
ReplyDeleteTotally forgot to mention that Fluttershy is a tree....FOREVER!
ReplyDeleteI think it was the Sonic Rainboom for me. Gave me goosebumps the first time I watched it.
ReplyDeletetwilights inability to be social was my favorite because i can relate
ReplyDeleteI would say Sonic Rainboom, but enough has already been said about that. I loved Pinkie's "sportscasting" in fall weather friends as well, but the thing that really strikes me about the show is the character development. The creators did a great and thorough job for each of the main characters, and they really are all completely different if you think about it. That's one thing that's really missing from a lot of shows today, especially kids shows. I'm glad the creators were able to do such a good job with a franchise that had never been able to make it on TV before, and especially how they brought in such a varies scale of viewers that were way out of the targeted age range. Can't wait to see how they do with season two. Who's with me?
ReplyDeleteProbably Flutterage. "YOUR GOING TO LOOOVEEEE MEEE"
ReplyDeleteI would have to say diamond dogs, it was the episode that got me in to the show and I loved Rarity with all the not whining and what not.
ReplyDeleteWhen the punch was...
ReplyDelete(sunglasses)
Spiked!
YYEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAHHH
@Lightyguy *facehoof*
ReplyDeleteWell ill start by saying FUCKING EVERYTHING, but some things were particularly amazing.
ReplyDelete*Pinkie transforming into Pinkamena was probably the most awesome moment in the entire season for me... So wonderfully disturbing and hilarious.
*Flutterage, of course. So unexpected it just threw me off completely.
*Poney pokey song, just freaking great.
*Pinkie Pie in general. The hopping around, the voice, the crazy lines and moments...
*All the Herpa derp retarded random moments and animating.
"Huh, i sure do look funny... Wooo wooo. Wooo wooo!" - Apple Jack&Pinke Pie
"Huffy the magic dragon" - Fluttershy
"Wolhaha" - Rarity laughing
Oh ponies, you so silly.
*Rarity's voice when she gets enthusiastic. "He would ask for my hoof in marriage, and of course i would say - YEEESSS"
*Dramatic Pinkie Pie moment in Swarm of the century, where Rarity is overwhelmed by the parasprites and Pinkie Pie comes DASHING through the door to SAVE THE DAY, does nothing but blow a flute and leaves Rarity screaming.
Many luls and many "Wtf?"moments were had. MLP:FiM blew my fucking mind. I exploded many times.
For me it "was suited for sucsess", it' my favourite episode, besides heavin a really unique moral (for me the moral was'nt "don't look given horse in the theet, it was let the fucking artist work and stop messing with his work) it had a amazing musical number, some awesome jokes and developed Rarity alot, since this episode she've become my favourite.
ReplyDeleteBut the biggest moment (instead of episode) wans in "the best night ever" when fluttershy breakes into the room and say "you're going to LOVE ME" it was so amazing how much she developed since the first episode (also, "Dragonshy, and stare master were grate for her development).
But, the sonic rainboom was also fantastic.
Pinkie pie Psychotic Breakdown in "party for one" could be the funnyest moment, but rarity's whining in "A dog and Pony show" is also a serious contester.
Each episode has a few highlights, but some moments stood out. One in particular was the Benny Hill chase with Twilight Sparkle, Fluttershy and Philomena.
ReplyDeleteAnd we need this pic why?
ReplyDeleteWatching my first video with other 300 bronies and also "Party of One", that episode was amazing.
ReplyDelete@Lightyguy
ReplyDeleteOh my god! Someone MUST do a YTP of this!
when pinkie stuck her head in the chocolate fountain
ReplyDeleteEpisode 2 was truly awesome.
ReplyDeleteThe cutie mark chronicles had a great plot.
What really got me hooked was the Art of the Dress song. I fell in love with Rarity's singing voice and made me want ot hear more songs. Plus, the whole episode was pretty cool!
ReplyDeleteFluttershys greatest (or worst depending on your perspective) moments: Flutterguy and Flutterage
ReplyDeleteI also really enjoyed the whole of The Cutie Mark Chronicles. It was a really well written and detailed prequel (and they can go so wrong) and also contained lots of great moments on top of that!
And that's how Equestria was made...
Something amazing is when the writers started to bend over to our requests. Keep it up and seasons three is going to suck so much ass!
ReplyDelete@Rainbowfinchbird
ReplyDeletedont forget the third one
My first exposure to the show (aside from some then-indecipherable memes) was a youtube clip of 'Party of One'... need I tell you which part?
ReplyDeleteWhen Pinkie-Pie first involuntarily spasmed, I laughed out loud.
I was intrigued... the next thing I knew I'd seen the whole series.
I think the most amazing part of season one for me was the reference to The Lion King in Applebuck Season when the rabbits run around the fainted pony. It was a little thing, but, as The Lion King took up a huge part of my childhood, it was great to see! :D
ReplyDeleteCan't believe it hasn't been said, yakity-sax. That scene in The Ticket Master convinced me to watch the entire series, and the Scooby-Doo doors in A Bird in the Hoof were awesome
ReplyDeletedoctor whoof ftw
ReplyDeleteThe plot.
ReplyDeleteToo easy.
I liked Episode Two, with the Elements of Harmony scene.
ReplyDeleteAnd when Twilight became a Rapidash. Ahaha~
I think the most awesome thing about season 1 was the fact that it spawn us bronys. what could be better than that?
ReplyDeleteWhat amazes me is that this show exists at all. How easy would have it been to make a generic cartoon that's insultingly stupid to any demographic just to sell toys to little girls?
ReplyDeleteToo damn easy. But someone decided to cast the die and take a chance with some of the best creative talent in animation and music. And the rest is history and the world seems to be a brighter place.
Oh, how can I choose? My first exposure, as well, were clips, here and there. I think the "Feeling Pinkie Keen" one with Derpy (oh, I'm sorry Ditzy Doo!)hooked me, and I asked "what is this wonder"? Well I have seen, haven't I! I have to say, if I were forced to choose (which would be unfortunat4e, as I never truly could), I'd have to say the big three musical numbers. Winter Wrap-Up, The Art of the Dress, and At the Gala all proved this was a show that not only had good characters, good story, and fun times, but amazing entertainment value, to boot.
ReplyDeleteIt's also amazing how this show gave a mascot to retarded rave fans.
ReplyDeleteIt is impossible to single out any event, or scene... all of it was pure gold, and i enjoyed every damn second of it. Watching the first episode was probably the best choice in my life.
ReplyDeleteI would have just made a long list of all my favorite parts, but I don't want to post the whole series.
ReplyDeleteInstead, I'll just say that, although Rainbow Dash is my favorite character, Pinkie Pie made me laugh numerous times every episode.
Rainbow dash and her sonicrainboom
ReplyDeleteFlutter guy and the gala
Also rarity being kidnapped
and also the cutie mark chronicles of thats how all the 6 ponies gathered up and became this Epic loving show, thats all my favorites but the show everything else i love it also :3 expressions can only think of this show in compassion
Not exactly an awesome part of the show, but I now can no longer listen to the opening theme song without hearing Maxima laughing her ass off.
ReplyDeleteby far the best part was the "evolution" of rarity. In my opinion, at first she was a prissy little bitch. i would skip scenes just to avoid her. then as the season progressed, she evolved into an awesome, ass kicking, sexy* pony. In my opinion what happened to her is no different then the evolution from the previous pony shows to friendship is magic
ReplyDelete*Sorry to all you you that just cringed
'Winter Wrap-Up' was the moment I realized that MLP:FiM was really something special, unlike anything I'd seen before. While I was interested and enjoying the show up until that point, the fully fleshed out musical segment of 'Winter Wrap-Up' pushed me into the realm of loving the show. I was so happy to have that song stuck in my head the entire week!
ReplyDeleteBut overall, the most 'holy shnikey's!' moment was the climax of Sonic Rainboom. Shudders and goosebumps, seriously, one of the most perfectly executed sequences in all of animation. It brought me back to being eight years old, and watching the Death Star explode for the first time.
the moment I became a brony )And started getting laughed off by the 2nd most nerdish person i've ever seen(nerd level 40% by appearance and glasses), I can't describe the exact moment(
ReplyDeletealso, pinkamena
Winter wrap up winter wrap uup .... yeah memorable
Derpy Anvil
There's so many, but to pick a few of the hilights:
ReplyDelete- The Winter Wrap Up song
- Each of Pinkie Pie's successive breakdowns in "Party of One"
- Pretty much any of the times Fluttershy has shouted (whether it be a loud or quiet one), but eapecially Flutterage in "Best Night Ever"
- Twilight getting hit by all the objects being dropped by Derpy in "Feeling Pinkie Keene"
- The silent non-reaction from all her friends when Rarity first show them their dresses in "Suited for Success"
- Benny Hill chase in "The Ticket Master"
- The "Fluttershy's a Tree" scene in "Over a Barrel
- And I could probably list a bunch more, but I think I'll stop there. What an awesome season!
@Anonymous
ReplyDeleteyes, also that
to everyone: i read all of the comments so no one feels bad for no one having his comment read
^
ReplyDeleteOh! How could I forget Applejack jumping off the patform in "Applebuck Season" (1, 2, 3, THUD!) Classis! OK, I'll stop now.
It totally cinched it for me when I first heard Winter Wrap-Up. That was the first episode I watched too. I was like OMG GOTTA WATCH THE REST OF THIS SERIES YES
ReplyDeleteI'm not one of the old bronies, but I'm going to put in my two bits anyway:
ReplyDeleteThe fact that they had the guts to have the moral in Feeling Pinkie Keen. One of my favorite epicsodes, right there.
"But that blue one kicked me!"
ReplyDelete"Baked *bads*."
"I'd like to be a tree!"
"I like... helpin' the pony folks. Woo ooo oooo!"
"yay"
"Let's get out of here before Rarity ruins winter and causes a drought."
"FOREVER."
Rainbow Dash dragging Pinkamena aaaall the way across town.
80s Cherilee.
The lack of destruction after the bunny stampede.
Winter Wrap Up. Especially the song.
Rainbow dash bouncing up and down on a cloud like a video game character to soak Twilight.
Zecora being totally useless during the parasprite infestation. "You're doomed."
Rarity walking out on stage during the bad fashion show.
GPT *trying* to fight the Ursa.
-Winter Wrap Up
ReplyDelete-Flutterguy
-When Fluttershy gets angry at the dragon part.
"on the longest day of the thousandth year the stars will aid in her escape and bring about nighttime eternal"
ReplyDeleteHoly sh*t, we're fighting pony Cthulhu.
Good night, fillies and gentlecolts!
ReplyDeleteI won't really call that thing happening here a discussion for that is just... mmm... poll, I guess. But who cares about that?
The episode that impressed me the most is "Party of None" and insane Pinkie Pie moment.
Next is, of course, the so-called "flutterage". I've been watching the scene with Shutterfly shouting "You're going to love me!" over and over until... mmm... just over and over.
Next is Twilight bursting with flames. I'm not that much into Pokemon - for Celestia's sake I already have forgotten all the names of these strange creatures since long ago - so I don't really care if it was Rapidash or not. And it was not the moment of ignition I remember the most, it is the angry face of Twilight moment before.
I guess just three will do just fine.
Stating the obvious, your
The Most Evil Pony.
Applejack's drunken stupor got me hooked! Oh I mean, sleep deprived.
ReplyDeleteWinter Wrap Up had the amazing musical number that gave an incredible boost to the show's credibility and awesomeness with so much content spawned from it also.
I think though, the best part about Season 1 might not be the actual show itself. But what it made and how it effected everypony. How it made all this OC, these adorable creatures, and how it made YOU.
Yes the best part about Season 1 was that I got to celebrate and squeal with glee with all of you when watching it. You're the best part about Season one my fellow bronies.
I love you all.
all!!!!
ReplyDeletealso find ED was one of the most awesome moments in this last two months!!!
i have read more than i would ever have do in a normal year
PONYS FTW!!!!!!
AGAIN THANKS LAUREN!!!!!!!!
AND THANKS ALL THE STAF OF ED!!!! yay!!
Buzzards that can really buzz.
ReplyDeleteall of them but mostly Winter Wrap Up and Pinkie Pie Pied pipering the Parasprites.
ReplyDeleteDon't have just one favorite.
ReplyDeleteOn another note, anyone know who the character in the picture is meant to be? I'm relatively new to the fandom so I don't know who everypony is.
I liked the parts that had ponies
ReplyDeleteThe thing that started the brony era for me is the Two Part pilot. It was told with a good mix of seriousness and fun, WITHOUT being too soppy or cheesy or over the top. Bin watching ever since. after watching the 1st season, I rewatch it again.
ReplyDeleteAlso, that pic.... OK THAT'S IT BERRY PUNCH IS NOW BEST PONY!
Flutterguy and her singing evil enchantress was the first truly jaw dropping moment of season 1 for me. That whole episode in general is still my favorite overall.
ReplyDeleteOthers of note:
The Sonic rainboom
Twilights perfect description of comets in ep 24
Snidely Spike and his bloody mouse corpse scheme
Rarity's whining and her great horn journey to the rock.
Twilight's powers awakening.
Pinkie dealing with the Parasprites.
At the Gala musical scene.
The buildup and release of FlutterRage.
"I know you don't want do this."
ReplyDelete"But they have taken our land. What would you have me do...Rainbow Dash?"
I cried tears of awesome at that. That night scene with the buffalo before the Appaloosan showdown is incredibly cinematic.
I KNOW that it's an incredible lil slice of cinema, because you can totally take it straightfaced, even with the words "Rainbow Dash" being uttered. Before 4th Gen, you just would NOT be able to take that sort of thing seriously.
Six words explains it all.
ReplyDelete"I'd like to be a tree."
I personally love it when Fluttershy told off the dragon. I literally died laughing! It was so out of character and was just awesome! The Sonic Rainboom was pretty epic, too (I personally started cheering along with everypony). And Fluttershy snapping at the Gala was so entertaining to watch! Aah, I love this show!
ReplyDeleteRarity's big whinning scene
ReplyDeletePinkie's singing telegram song.
"Not baked goods, baked bads."
Fluttershy's "So many wonders" song
Dash's funny faces at the guards.
When Phillomena gets the guards to laugh by tickling them.
"I'm a year older than you."
"Afraid to get dirty!"
Pinkie's Grand galloping galla song.
"But that rainbow one kicked me."
The CMC's big montage through Ponyville
Fluttershy's stare down with the cockatree.
Spike's fantasy of him with muscles.
"Juicy!"
Creepy Pie; SO AMAZING!!!
ReplyDeletethat or
"Did you see that? I was so assertive!"
I have to agree on the whole Derpy Hooves in Feeling Pinkie Keen thing. It was when it became very clear to me that they cared about the Bronies.
ReplyDelete"Swarm of the Century" was my "mind blown" moment. The thought that this show, a show based on a 20 year old franchise for girls under 10, would do an episode that was nothing more than a send up to an episode of the Original Star Trek. Where most shows bombard you with pop-culture references, I was shocked to see a show that didn't depend on the, and when it did do them, did them oh-so subtly.
ReplyDeleteThe dresses reappearing at the Gala did it for me
ReplyDeleteOne that I don't think has been mentioned yet:
ReplyDelete- Rarity's reaction to Pinkie Pie's dragon-fighting costume in Dragonshy, and then the wonderful "it all happens offscreen" whne Pinkie's plan fails hard. Brilliant.
The facial expressions are one of the things that sold the show for me. (\^3^/)
ReplyDeleteAlso, Rarity.
Hush Now, Quiet Now: Gospel Edition.
ReplyDeleteThe things they do with the songs in this show are so refreshing.
the funny parts like the Pinkamena part in the Party of One:-)
ReplyDeleteThere was so much I enjoyed about watching this show, so many little moments where each of the mane cast won my heart over individually.
ReplyDeleteBut really, the moment that amazed me? As a long-time Sondheim fan, it had to be the moment where I realized "Art Of The Dress" was based on "Putting It Together".
It wasn't enough that the episode featured a clever, catchy song that turned dress-making into drama. It was the fact that these pastel-coloured ponies just had the guts to reference the most prestigious Broadway composer in existence.
Up until that moment, I'd suspected I was a brony. Afterwards, there wasn't a power on earth that could get me to deny it.
Moments that made me smile the hardest...
ReplyDeleteWinter Wrap Up song
I thought you wanted whining!
Pinkie's dramatic apple, Pinkie's FOREVER shtick, and Twilight's magically messing with Fluttershy's stage performance in Green Isn't Your Color
Twilight and Fluttershy's cutie mark flashbacks
Part of One... the entire episode
At the Gala song, and YOU ARE GOING TO LOVE ME
Over the Hill.
ReplyDeleteI had gotten used to the fact that they sing, especialy, Pinkie. when she said "I've got an idea!" I was expecting a party.
Scene cut.
Spike's playing the piano, a seashell opens.
and boom, pinkie in a show girl outfit, singing about sharing.
My favorite moment of season one, and the second time in this series i wanted to go watch Blazing Saddles.
Party of One - Pinkie going full blown insane
ReplyDeleteOver a Barrel - Only episode of an animated series that almost made me tear up
Bridle Gossip - Twilight's dickhorn, Flutterguy, and Zecora the nigger
Cutie Mark Chronicles. The entire episode.
ReplyDelete"One that I don't think has been mentioned yet:
ReplyDelete- Rarity's reaction to Pinkie Pie's dragon-fighting costume in Dragonshy, and then the wonderful "it all happens offscreen" when Pinkie's plan fails hard. Brilliant. "
Aha, having rewatched that I realise it's Rarity's reaction to Pinkie's rubber chicken distraction technique. That, it's, heeheehee
Well, I came in pretty late, so the first episode I watched the day it aired was actually Part of One...
ReplyDeleteWhich did surprise me.
But I was mesmerized by WWU the first time I heard it.
And Rainbow Dash' solo line in At The Gala.
I get chills every time.
@JeanSplice

Oh boy, here I go. INCOMING TEXT WALL!
ReplyDeleteSeason One had way too many mind-blowing moments for me, many of them have to do with how the show is structured and how the narrative flows, but in general it's hard to pin point all my favorite moments. That's why I am picking my Top Ten!
10. Rarity's Cutie Mark story: It's not so much the awesomely funny and satirical refference to 2001, but Rarity's face as she's been dragged by the horn over mountains. Also, shall we mention the Greatest Musical Ever!? A bunch of ponies dressed as fruit bouncing side to side. Priceless.
9. Derpy Hooves is delivering packages now: If we as a fandom realized we were counting for Hasbro, it was in this moment. When we saw that wall-eyed pony delivering packages over Twilight's head, something in our minds broke too.
8. I don't wanna talk about it: Fluttershy's temporary voice-gender swap took me so off guard that I stil crack up at the scene. It was the first time I realized the humour of the show was edgier and more inteligent that I expected.
7. Pinkamena Dianne Pie: Pinkie Pie meets Sweeney Todd meets Red and Stimpy. Her flat mane and tail still make me feel really confused about my feelings. Am I terrified of her? Or in love with her?
6. And grudge rhymes with fudge: Pinkie Pie and Spike's dialogue on the balloon during Fall Weather Friends. Pinkie Pie being as random as she can twisting the words for her purpose. And Ashleigh Ball deserves an award for her voice acting there.
5. Twilight VS The Ursa: This moment alone deserves its own little mini-Emmy. This is what made me realize this was a very special show. The music, the imagery, the expressions, the animation, the tone...Not a single word is said! Like Dash says at the end: Unbelievable.
4. YOU'RE GOING TO LOVE ME!: Fluttershy skips the whole "being assertive" step and jumps right into mental breakout psychopathy. You really better love her, or else...
3. Rarity's wallowing: "I want to wallow in...Whateveritisusponiesaresupposedtowallowin! Tabitha St Germain is the best voice actress of the show.
2. Luna's forgiveness: This one did throw me off because I wasn't expecting the villain of the show to be so accepting towards forgiveness this quickly. And she was so cute saying she was so sorry. I can't wait to see her in Season 2.
1. She did it! She did it! Wooooooh!!!: Two words; Sonic Rainboom. That episode is so full of win it should be on fire. I just really love how this episode is approached, because I spent the entire time wondering "Will she ever pull the Sonic Rainboom? Will it happen?" There is a massive build up of 19 minutes, and that has the most satisfying, worthy and explosive pay off ever. The Sonic Rainboom is, like Pinkie Pie said, The Most Coolest Thing Ever!
Anyway, that's all. I warned ya'll! Wall of text XD
"Dragonshy" was THE moment for Fluttershy. It just proved that she isn't just a scared and diffident pegasus that she seemed to be (plus her out-of-character moment in the season finale). And that's why she's my favorite out of the six.
ReplyDeleteI feel sorry for Pinkie Pie on some episodes where she tried to be the hero (Dragonshy, Over a Barrel); it just wouldn't allow her randomness a chance to solve things (and it's the one of the reasons why we all love her!).
And I'm surprised no one mentioned her "You gotta share, you gotta care," dance. Her can-can was adorable!
REALLY hard to choose, but my ten favourite moments of Season 1:
ReplyDelete10. "Winter Wrap-up". The whole episode, but especially the song.
9. The moment that got me hooked: The appearance of the Elements of Harmony. Worth mentioning, especially since I think that was the only really good part of that episode.
8. The Sonic Rainboom. Epic Moment of Epic.
7. Flutterrage in "The Best Night Ever". Really didn't see that coming.
6. Flutterguy, especially Flutterguy singing Pinkie's Zecora song.
5. Pinkie Pie's constant off-screen teleportation, breaking of the fourth wall, etc.
4. The whole episode "Suited for Success". Before that episode, Rarity was my least favourite main character. Afterwards, she was my favourite.
3. Celestia at the tea party in "A Bird in the Hoof". Yay, Trollestia confirmed!
2. Rarity ditching Blueblood in "The Best Night Ever". That moment was simply glorious.
1. I watched "Party of One" for the first time only two hours after having read "Cupcakes" for the first time. That just burned itself deeply into my memory. Also, "Party of One" is my favourite episode together with "Suited for Success".
whenever Rarity spit the punch out onto Pinkie Pie's face and pinkie pie acted like nothing happened. that was hilarious!!!
ReplyDeleteThe first two episodes hooked me in. The last 5-6 minutes of the second episode when Twilight realized the true meaning of the Elements was the clincher of "yep, gonna watch more of this"
ReplyDeleteThe first "oh wow" was Fluttershy yelling the dragon into submission in 'Dragonshy'. Seriously, that was awesome. And it was FLUTTERSHY. The most scaredest, shy pony of them all. So awesome.
The songs in general are totally awesome. There is not one song from the show I hate.
The biggest "oh wow" is of course the SONIC RAINBOOM. You know it's coming and it's still so awesome. Dash's segment of "Cutie Mark Chronicles" was pretty cool too, especially her closing statement.
The show is too funny to pick out a prime funny moment. I mean, you have
Flutterguy
BUT I THOUGHT YOU WANTED WHINING
Pinkamena Pie in "Party of One"
The Singing Telegram, also from "Party of One"
Spike's Snidely Whiplash getup in "Owls well that Ends Well"
Applejack in episode 4.
LEAVE ME ALONE, I VANT TO BE ALONE
And that's just a few of the really funny parts.
And then you have all of the references and shoutouts, far too many to list and you can go to tvtropes for that, but what REALLY sells them is the scenes are still funny even if you don't get the reference, which means the reference is a bonus instead of standing in for original content which is a trap too many shows fall into.
Snips and snails were awesome! and i might be the only one who likes Sapphire Shores, because, bitch she is awesome!
ReplyDeleteProbably the climax of Suited For Success; The whole episode is just has such very SMART writing, directing, aesthetics and overall design that, when I stepped back from it, I realized just how talented and loving all the people making the show are. The fact that a girl's show can be a comedy and a touching drama, in synthesis to create a very compelling educational message that can speak to both kids and adults, is simply...
ReplyDeleteSimply marvelous.
Also, that episode has awesome music.
The fact that Episode 2, Episode 7, Episode 17, and episode 24 show that, even in a KID'S cartoon, the threat of death is RIGHT ****ING THERE. Suspense like that always gets me going.
ReplyDeleteI also like Spike Whiplash and Rainbow kicking the dragon.
The introduction of Fluttershy in the first episode. Pure genius.
ReplyDeleteThe little touches are what make it for me, unnoticed background stuff like Rainbow Dash bringing Opal down from the tree in Suited for Success. Totally missed that the first time i saw the episode, didn't need to be in there, but they went the extra mile. Same with things like Rarity not having a cloud-walking spell at the end of Sonic Rainboom, and this being REMEMBERED by the writers. No half-assedness here!
ReplyDeleteThe fact that I'm watching a cartoon about ponies with unicorns and rainbows and it's good, real good.
ReplyDeleteBut a couple things are the Winter Wrap Up Song and crazy Pinkie Pie from Party Of One.
@pixelkitties
ReplyDeleteWhat do you pack for exile? Do you pack...warm?
I like watching episode 4 over and over again for some reason.
ReplyDeleteTwilights "Tell me she's not."
ReplyDelete"She is"
then Pinkies song
nuff said!
What blew my mind was all the things that the producers put in KNOWING that the show's target audience wouldn't get it, a classic example being that Hoity Toity, the fahion designer pony was a riff on RL fashion designer Karl Jagerfeld, or the fact that the background music in the chase scene during the episode 'Owls well that ends well', in which Spike is being chased around a cave by a much larger dragon, is an orchestral version of the theme from the original Godzilla film. They could have gone all bargain-basement with this and turned it intoa four-legged version of any of the 'can you tell us where the square is?' shows that are glutting kid's television at the moment, but they didn't...a fact for which I am grateful!
ReplyDeleteLots of the stuff already mentioned, but also:
ReplyDelete*Scootaloo's scooter making motor noises despite the apparent lack of motor
*Photo Finish - just, all of Photo Finish.
*Reoccurring MOUSTACHE references
Every second of every episode blew my mind.
ReplyDeleteFluttershy's introduction, Berry Punch drinking out of the punch bowl, and Lyra crying over a parasprite eating her pie.
ReplyDelete1. Pinkie's deflation in "Party of One."
ReplyDelete2. "I'm a year older than you."
3. "Yes yes yes yes yes yes!"
