A few days ago this article popped up in a nightly roundup, but it was too small to read. It's interesting, since it actually uses some of our logos and stuff.
Anyway you can find all of the article clippings after the break!

Yay, a magazine article that isnt written by a prude.
VastaKustutaOh silly anons.
VastaKustutawasting your time by trying to post first.
Wish this was up sooner. i was trying to explain the Herd to my kendo team and they wont watch it when i say, you just gotta watch it XD
That's great that we finally get some good press, even if it's across an ocean
VastaKustutaBut, I did read it, back in that nightly round up. The image I opened was clearly readable.
VastaKustutaRegardless, not a bad little article.
Hooray for the spread of influence and knowledge!
VastaKustutaGood press? Hallelujah!
VastaKustutaI'm going to send that author some lovemail, you see if I don't.
VastaKustutaAustrailia likes us!
VastaKustutaOne step closer to world domination!
One continent down, six to go. Antarctica won't be too difficult, I think. Penguins love ponies.
VastaKustutaWe have the support of Australia's press!
VastaKustutaWell, a part of it. But it's still all kinds of awesome! :3
What paper is this, mX?
VastaKustutaGood press? IMPOSSIBRU
VastaKustutaEquestria is in Australia
VastaKustuta@Anonymous
VastaKustutaIt's several. The columnist writes for a distributor, which syndicates to quite a few papers around the world. Looks like this column may have been printed in a few Australian papers (thus the .au) but nowhere else.
I'm dreading what it's going to be like on Monday when the show starts in the UK. England isn't quite so forgiving of new technology or unusual fandom. Or as far as the tabloids and Sky news are concerned, anyway.
VastaKustutaThat was very, very nice.
VastaKustutaBrb moving to Koalaland.
VastaKustuta@DeeperMadness
VastaKustutaThat'd be because the UK has so many tabloids masquerading as actual newspapers. See: The examples you gave.
Which isn't to say the US's news organizations are much better. We've got Cable Television News, after all.
Bwahaha, it's from The Mercury! The main Tasmanian weekly paper. Tasmania as a state is often the butt of jokes but it's the friendliest, most inviting state of all. It's great to see it my home state getting the last laugh! If anywhere in the world was going to produce a good article on MLP it was bound to be Tassie. <3
VastaKustutaLinky link link! http://www.themercury.com.au/article/2011/07/02/242445_attitude.html
My god, the final line was talking about love and tolerance.
VastaKustutaIt's working, people!
Damn, that's probably the most positive media coverage of bronies yet.
VastaKustutaat last good press. someone actually spent 10 minutes looking something up rather then freak out grown men and women liked a child's show
VastaKustutaAustralia just got about 20% cooler in my book.
VastaKustutaAustralia is now 20% cooler.
VastaKustutaNow if only we could get these guys to do a news report in America. I mean seriously fox news, i wish i could get my mom to stop watching you, becuase you defiantly stopped being fair and balanced when you compared bronies to the man baby.
VastaKustutaFirst Australia, tomorrow, proberly nowhere, but still.
VastaKustuta@cheesy hooves
VastaKustutathey were never fair and balanced to begin with
@Cheesy Hooves
VastaKustuta"Fair and balanced" is a joke for the ages.
Yay.
VastaKustutaI just sent him an e-mail thanking him for the coverage and that most of us have come by bronyism honestly. :P
VastaKustutaAnd yeah, we're still real men. So says Lauren Faust!
>>Might not be everyone's cube of sugar
VastaKustuta>>cube of sugar
>>sugarcube
Punny. Very punny.
To quote Patrick Swayze from "Road Hose" (altered slightly)..
VastaKustuta"BE NICE. If someone is causing you trouble...BE NICE. If someone starts a fight...ask them to leave...BUT BE NICE."
I vote we all adopt the Patrick Swayze "BE NICE" as an official compliment to our already friendly love-and-tolerate manifesto laws.
Some of you guys sound like you don't even know Australia is a legitimate country with people who are actually very well informed of everything going on in the rest of the world. We even have chairs!
VastaKustutaSo anyway, we're aware of My Little Pony. How else would I (and many other Australians) be a brony?
We know Australia's a real country mate. We just like to tease our neighbors :p
VastaKustutaVery nice. An article written with some legitimate courtesy and without a heap of bashing.
VastaKustutaI approve, Australian newspaper whose name i dont recall
Aw, man. That is so cute!
VastaKustutaYAY! people are being nice to us!
VastaKustutaI occasionally get a "WTF" reaction by others and I always ask them 'Have you watched the show?' The answer is always no. I then direct them to watch the first three or four episodes and come back to me. I won't argue the merits of the show until they've actually watched it. Some folks still aren't into it, but others see why I enjoy it. And some of them watch the rest of the Episodes and ask me when is season two coming out?
VastaKustutaI love them for using male ponies for the picture. They need more love.
VastaKustutaFinally. Something in Australia about ponies. And its official
VastaKustutaAh, the trick is the "Don't think they enjoy it ironically!" So true. And that's why this fandom is so SPESHUL :D
VastaKustutai love my country. woo!
VastaKustutaponies, ponies everywhere
VastaKustutaFor once, the Autralian media has not let me down. Looks like someone here has actually done research before they write about a topic. Nice...nice...
VastaKustutaAussieBrony.
Australia always likes good cartoons.
VastaKustutaIf Australia is one thing, we're honest.
VastaKustutaIf we like ponies, we're DAMN well gonna make sure the world knows it.
I had no problem reading the article in the first nightly roundup post.
VastaKustuta[sarcasm]
BROTIP: Clicking on an image 'thumbnail' usually opens up a larger version of that image, FYI.
[/sarcasm] =D
After reading the article on the web site that Brad B provided I am really impressed on many levels. The reporter obviously figured out how to do real research. Something US agencies should try sometimes. specialy when the first four pages of the editorials is all corrections of yesterdays paper. come on people, really? But then the reporter went on and wrote a nice article that did not try to shock anyone, or make fun of any group. It is also nice to see the reporter point to this site in the article. I applaud the reporter for being good and I applaud any of the papers that carried the article for recognizing good reporting.
VastaKustutaYayyyyy I am proud of my country for once :p
VastaKustutaA brief article, but a decent summary of the fandom for how concise it is, and it gets its facts right. I approve.
