Curses, it IS longer. Still, my story gets a 1.5x bonus for being an alliteration so I think we're about even.

VastaKustutaSo does this mean we are going to have Cthulhu surfing a bomb into silent hill dual wielding ironclads? Because if not....
I have to admit, this title is epic.
VastaKustutaHaving the link at the end was just insanely funny. 5 Stars
Loved the dire straits link, it really set the mood well. And the ending credits were a nice touch! All in all, a fun little story.
VastaKustutaAmazing but a clip for a revolver is called a speed loader

VastaKustutaPoorly uneducated fool... Speedloaders are different than moon clips... Speedloaders are somewhat slower than moon clips. Though, more typically than not, a gun needs to be modified for moon clips. ;) Why don't you do a little research? http://media.midwayusa.com/productimages/large/385/385220.jpg <-- Moon clip.
As for the story, I enjoyed it. When you mentioned moon clips, rather than a speedloader, I was a bit impressed. As most nubs just say "speedloaders" (I like guns). Pretty good flow, and I liked that you stayed descriptive enough all-throughout.
The insert of those links were a lovely touch as well. It seemed to go by a little fast, but the link at the end made me lol and gave me second thoughts about the length. All in all, I don't feel I wasted my time reading this and got a couple chuckles here and there. (: Good read.
SPOILER------------------
The end where the crusaders looked at appleblooms flank, and what was said, made me lul. I liked how you didn't force creative ingenuity there and stamp her as your own (so to speak).
The random Gunslinger reference startled me. Actually, the Dark Tower's plot practically begs for cross-overs now that I think about it.
