Pencils down, ponies! All entries received after this post are disqualified!
HOLY BA-JESUSING BUCK. 154 EMAILS.
You guys wrote a lot. And here I was thinking I was going to get twenty entries max. Here I was thinking this would be an unpopular event! I'll have the final count on the fics tomorrow, but there's a lot.
Keep an eye on your emails just in case I need more info from you, or a Docs link, or what have you. If my email comes after the deadline that's fine, obviously, because you already submitted.
Just as a heads-up, guys: I see a lot of Word Doc submissions. That's not what what I meant by a Docs link. If you know you did this, PLEASE email me a Google Docs link. Make my life easier. This will not be up on Sunday. This might take a long, long, time.

I DID IT!!!
ReplyDeleteo.o I really hope the email made it to you fast enough... I sent it at 7:59... just right now and came straight here... I really hope you do accept it even if its not my best work =n=
ReplyDeleteSo what exactly is going to happen to the entrants? Are they all going to go up, or are they getting sent to pre-readers like all other short stories do?
ReplyDeleteFinal count later, obviously, but do you have a rough count? Or even a ballpark estimate?
ReplyDeleteI DID TOO!
ReplyDeleteMy clock better not have been off. I submitted with 3 minuets left.
ReplyDeleteTHAT WAS TERRIBLE AND AMAZING
ReplyDeletein with just three minutes to spare, and to think I almost blew it trying to come up with a title!
ReplyDeleteI wrote my story in half an hour. I really hope it doesn't show.
ReplyDeleteWoo i can't wait to read everything!
ReplyDeleteI submitted my entry at 8:00 on the dot
ReplyDeletehopefully it will be accepted.

ReplyDeleteThat was fun. Let's go again!
ReplyDeleteSo I accidentally sent the private link at 10:57
ReplyDeleteInstapanicked and changed the settings and sent in the right link at 10:59
I'm having a heart attack x.x
!@#$% IT!!!
ReplyDeleteI did it... but now I just learned the hard way that you can't paste into Docs... T.T

ReplyDelete>137 EMAILS
ReplyDelete>MFW I'm going to read every single on of those 137 stories
>MFW I have no face because this isn't an imageboard.
Good luck to all who sent in their work!
ReplyDeleteWow. I cut that fine with 3 minutes.
ReplyDeleteOh god, I submitted LITERALLY last minute (Stupid stupid, stupid) I hope it makes it! I got here late because I was busy at work. DAMN my occupation, getting in the way of my ponies!
ReplyDelete@Dashukta
ReplyDeleteOh, nice. NOW I notice the "138 emails" in nice, bold text. *smacks forehead*
I wanted to do the event as well but I came home just a bit ago. Oh well. I hope we have more events like this in the future
ReplyDeleteNow 154.
ReplyDeleteUnpopular? You're funny.
ReplyDeleteAnyways, I'm happy that I was able to partake in this speedfic challenge. It was a great experience and I think I typed up something pretty good.
I think I was late. Augh. All that typing did a number on me. And my story is probably sub-par to what I could do if I could take my time with it. But that's the whole point of the challenge. I think I sent mine with enough time, because my clock said 7:59 when i pushed send. But still. Expect the worst, hope for the best. Even if it's not featured, this definitely was fun, and is just what I needed to get outta my slump.
ReplyDelete@Arcel lol im hoping the same thing. sent it at 7:58 XD
ReplyDeleteWell I finished, sort of, if only I had any idea how to work Docs.
ReplyDeleteI Lost 15-20 minutes being badgered by family members and finished with no time to submit ARGH
ReplyDeleteAh damn! I thought I submitted it at on the hour but as I clicked send and glanced at the clock... 9:01
ReplyDeleteFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUU-
Oh well, it was fun writing.
I'm not sure if mine made the deadline or not. My computer lagged a lot at the end as I went to change permissions, and I wanted to get it in with the wire, so I excluded details and put them in a separate e-mail.
ReplyDeleteDamn 6 year old computer guts.
wow, you're gonna have to read 154 stories?
ReplyDeleteout of all my time on this site i've only read about 15
@EHeroFlareNeos
ReplyDeleteMe too! I really hope it gets to be in! T^T
lol submitted at 7:58! just in time xD hopefully the email went through...
ReplyDeleteOh ffs I missed it! Was doing the NATG finale and completely forgot.
ReplyDeleteConfound these overlapping events they drive me to arrrgh fuuuuu—
And I failed to finish it. Maybe next time I'll just go for something short, simple and silly instead of letting my mind wander for half the time. :p
ReplyDelete*yay*
ReplyDeleteAll the tales of 2-3k words fic is going to put my 800 word fic to shame. TO SHAME!
ReplyDeleteSubmitted at 10:59 local time. Got 2224 words down in roughly an hour and forty minutes of writing.
ReplyDeleteLIKE A BOSS.
@derpyborny Ya, I'm so worried....
ReplyDeleteAlso, my story would have been alot better and more detailed... BUT, I came in an hour late and it took me an additional 10 to get inspired... so ya... mine is short, but its 50 minutes(aprox) of work... @_@
@Anonymous
ReplyDeleteI had family members try to bug me, and I literally gave them a polite version of "FUCK OFF I HAVE A DEADLINE". XD
Wow man, that's more than some ATGs have gotten, and they get an entire day to work! GO WRITEFRIENDS :D
ReplyDeleteBy my computer clock I was 3 minutes over. I'm hoping it's fast.
ReplyDeleteAh well, it was a lot of fun regardless!
Frustration is finishing this one minute before the deadline, and wasting two minutes trying to successfully upload it to google docs correctly. Oh well. I'll get it right next time.
ReplyDeleteEveryone check the post again. I'll paste it down here anyway:
ReplyDeleteJust as a heads-up, guys: I see a lot of Word Doc submissions. That's not what what I meant by a Docs link. If you know you did this, PLEASE email me a Google Docs link. Make my life easier. This will not be up on Sunday. This might take a long, long, time.
Dear god I hope that my story made it I forgot to sign it on the bottom, but i sent in doc's and with 5-6 minutes to spare spent 1 and a half hours on that sucker. I hope that my stuff didn't get lost in cyber space.
ReplyDelete@Cyberfox
ReplyDeleteYou can paste into google Docs. You have to hold Ctrl and V to paste ... you know, for future reference.
Good grief...that was quite the exciting experience! I am generally a fast writer, but WHOA!
ReplyDeleteFirst the 300-word challenge, and now this.
I'm liking these literary obstacle courses!
I'm guessing 154 and at least 20 who couldn't turn it in on time.
ReplyDeleteStill that's a lot of fanfics, and only one pony.
And one pony plus hundreds of fanfics just doesn't add up.
Holy shit... 157 emails... Good luck, Cereal. Godspeed.
ReplyDeleteSeeing as how 138 became 154, I'm thinking there were a decent amount of e-mails coming in right at the deadline, as this was being originally typed and posted. Here's hoping my story counts as one of those. >_>
ReplyDelete@Anonymous
ReplyDeleteI had the feeling there'd be something I didn't know about/forgot to try.
*Sigh*... too late now.
I just wish I had another hour. There were a few scenes I had in my head that I had to skip past because I was running short on time.
ReplyDeleteRegardless, Cereal you lucky, lucky pony you, have fun reading all those stories! And thanks again for putting this on!
....
So, when's the next one?
if you got my email a minute past the deadline it was because I had an email error. please have mercy and let it in.
ReplyDeleteThis was fun. My first fic ever, I'm fairly pleased with it. I missed the deadline trying to figure out Google docs... Still completely worth it.
ReplyDeleteWhat were you expecting Cereal Speed of the Velocity Challenged.
ReplyDeleteI kind of saw this kind of outcome I can only hope my email is one of those 154. I managed over 3000 words in a story, whether or not they make any sense is up to everyone else.
I wonder what everypony came up with
ReplyDeleteYay! I win!
ReplyDeleteWhat do you mean "Not a contest?" Shut up.
So, you have to read it all by yourself, or in pair with thirty-or-whatever pre-readers? Either way, cripes.
Good job to everypony who made it!
ReplyDeleteI really wanted to participate, but stupid work got in the way. Ah well. I hope there'll be another event like this.
@Curttehmurt Cupcakes.
ReplyDeleteThat was fun, but intense!
ReplyDeleteResent my entry as a Google Docs. Sorry for using Word before.
ReplyDelete@Fire.Esper
ReplyDeleteI only referenced it once as a throwaway gag at the end. Don't judge me.
lol, I forgot about this fic until I saw the starting post 20 minutes before the deadline. So I had to come up with a story, write it, spellcheck it, comb it over for derped lines, and send the email in 20 minutes.
ReplyDeleteit was only 481 words but dang it that's pretty good for a 20 minute fic.
I didn't want to send it in without a conclusion, so I was 3 minutes late. :( Oh well.
ReplyDelete@Curttehmurt I predict that when all the stories are compiled together, Rainbow will have burned down all of Ponyville at least twice.
ReplyDeleteHmm... for the time given, I think mine turned out really well. It's too small to send in as a fanfic on its own though. I kinda wish I knew of a way to let the world see it, regardless of whether it can participate.
ReplyDeleteI entered mine at 7 something.. I guess I did make it. buts its really boring
ReplyDeleteINB4 lots of "Cupcakes" spin-offs and vengeful "Rainbow Dash takes revenge by making cooking a Pinkie Pie stew" stories though.
ReplyDeletealso, if anybody is wondering, in my fic, dash is rushing to get a cooking project done 20 minutes before the deadline. she ended up in the hospital.
ReplyDeleteSent a new Email with the Google Docs link, sorry for the mix up.
ReplyDeleteAwwwww I slept through the speed fic challenge :(
ReplyDelete@Sunset Rose
ReplyDeleteI agree. Definitely want another in a month or two. Don't want to burn out Cereal. No pony likes burnt cereal.
Trust me.
@Cyberfox You could always try Deviantart or FF.net
ReplyDeleteOut of curiosity...I'd like to know what the other two choices were. A and C.
ReplyDelete@Dr. Orbital Death-Ray
ReplyDeleteI can confirm at least one of those.
@Somber
ReplyDeleteI'd say it would be best every other week or something. if phoe can do the artist training ground daily for 30 days, he can do this every two weeks, knowing the fics were all 2 hour fics and bite sized.
then agqain,, 154 fics...
@Arcel
ReplyDeleteSame here.... I'm pretty sure it'll work out.
@Dr. Orbital Death-Ray
ReplyDeleteAnd another here. There's something about Dash burning down Ponyville that's inherently funny.
If anypony was wondering about why my fic was about (>inb4 nopony cares about you frinkel), it was about Dash making the deity of all cupcakes (>inb4 you're extremely unoriginal frinkel): the Flaming Rainbow. It includes 151 proof sarsaparilla and a lighter.
ReplyDeleteNuff said. She's lucky she didn't burn her house down, lol.
Last comment for now from me. I was hit with insperation for my story and I only wish I had enough time... if I think about it and if people like the idea, I might go on to make it a fuller fic with an actual ending instead of a kind of... eh one... this story might end up being more of a summery of the first few parts of the full fic if I ever get around to it =D
ReplyDeleteEverypony who couldn't finish in time, post links here when you do finish :D
ReplyDelete@Chicken Vortex
ReplyDelete...one and a half confirmed. She only takes out bits and pieces of it in mine.
Wow. GOOD JOB WRITERS!
ReplyDelete@Marcoooootje1 Don't use your fancy mathematics to muddy the issue!
ReplyDeleteRaise your hand if your story involved Dash overestimating her own abilities, getting into a bad situation, resulting in injury (either bodily or to her pride).
ReplyDelete-raises hand-
@Adrian Brony
ReplyDeleteyeah 154 fics... mine was 5 pages...
@Anonymous
ReplyDeleteWell, through EqDaily, I meant. As I said though, too small to submit as a fic on its own here. Nevermind, I think I've made too big a deal of it already.
I just realized... we put up Artist Training Grounds numbers for this! Go us!!
ReplyDelete@Cyberfox PonyFanfictionArchive.net. Give us a call!
ReplyDeleteDeviantArt and aforementioned for everyone who didn't make it, actually. Highly recommended.
@Daffodil
ReplyDelete*raises hand*
Now I'm worried that all of our stories are EXACTLY THE SAME.
If reading 154 unpolished fanfics isn't grueling enough, keep in mind that they're all essentially the same story. Poor Cereal must feel like a college professor right about now.
ReplyDeleteI had RD wanting to include a pie while she... erm... while TS filled out her application for her. AJ was too busy tho and PP doesn't do pies... only cakes (don't ask me why) and she has to go deliver goodies. So RD is left to bake a pie herself. First attempt...well if the oven is twice as hot then the pie will cook twice as fast, right? Second attempt she takes a little nap. Third attempt she sorta abandons the whole measuring thing. When R stops by and discovers RD in distress she offers to help, making sure RD follows every line of instruction in the recipe. The results? Pies for everypony, particularly TS who was left filling out RD's application.
ReplyDeleteI'm gonna be honest... I almost wrote out a pinkie/dash cooking fic. I almost did... but then I thought; "how could I make this story unique?"
ReplyDeleteSo, I decided to go with Twilight! Yeah, she's surely got some books on cooking right? But then I thought other people would get the same idea... and decided to go deeper.
That's when I saw Spike...
Dammit. I only just found out about this, and had no time to write anything.
ReplyDeleteOh well, I might as well just write something anyway. I've got some good stuff already.
I had Rainbow trying to learn to make eggs to get on the Wonderbolt's special training diet.
ReplyDelete@Adrian Brony
ReplyDeletePhoe had an automated submission form.
You know what would be funny? If there isn't a single Pinkie/Dash shipping fic with them flirting over mock cooking lesson.
ReplyDelete*Sent Word doc one minute before deadline*
ReplyDelete*Realized that was wrong*
*Sent dA link two minutes after deadline*
*Receive confirmation that it still counts*
*Commence bouncing like Twilight Sparkle*
But seriously, this was so. Much. Fun. I can't wait to see how all those stories turned out!
@Somber
ReplyDeleteI see I'm not the only one who had Dash decide to speed things up by increasing the temperature...
Of course in MY story, she upped it by a factor of 10.
@Fire.Esper
ReplyDeleteThat address is not working for me. Is the site down?
@Daffodil
ReplyDelete*sigh*
-raises hand-
@Somber
ReplyDeletePinkie Pie... can't bake pies?
She a disgrace to her surname!
Sounds like a good story, and it sounds like Rainbow Dash.
Well, hopefully my story, although not the most unique concept, is memorable.
I wish I could give out the link on here so everypony else could see what they think of it, but I don't know if I'm allowed to... Am I?
@Cereal Velocity : Actually, if this became a regular thing, I'd suggest trying one that has a word cap.
ReplyDeleteIt'd be really fun to polish down a story to the essential elements to get it into a 500 word limit.
@chris
ReplyDelete"That's not an oven... it's an incinerator..."
"It's too cute to be an incinerator!"
@FRiNKEL
ReplyDelete>mfw Blogger removed my lol just kidding tag
FFFFUUUUUUUUU
@StreakTheFox
ReplyDelete>inb4 Inception!
We need to go deeper.
@Cyberfox No, I'm just an idiot. Here you go: http://www.ponyfictionarchive.net/
ReplyDelete@Frinkle
ReplyDeleteI simply couldn't recall her baking pies... cakes aplenty but never pies. That was always supposed to be AJ's domain of pastrydom. And speaking from my own experiances, cakes are much easier.
Eh... Mine started out well. Rushed the cooking part, and the ending sort of sucks. It is Pinkie and Dash, but surprisingly isn't shipping. The only thing I could feel proud about was that I sent it at the last minute and Spike is a villain in my story.
ReplyDeletePhew, started off well enough, but finished in a bit of a rush. My fault, I totally bonked about this event and got started half an hour late in consequence. Still, I had fun, and it was good to stretch them ol' brain muscles a bit. *yawn* time for bed, I'm a denizen of the East Coast...
ReplyDelete... my story was about Rainbow Dash trying to do a bakesell to earn up money to buy Spitfires original flying goggles in a charity auction... tis unfinished but I did enter... and I haven't gotten any confirmation or anything, but I hope I did do it right.. *worried now*
ReplyDeleteNertz. *raises hand*
ReplyDelete@Fire.Esper
ReplyDeleteOkay, cool. Won't be uploading tonight, though; gotta get my sleep. Perhaps it's actually really simple to do so, but I don't feel reasonable enough to actually check and see, proving even more so that I'm tired and gotta go to bed. Gud. Nite. *Gone*
Was I the only one who just tried to make a small story of Rainbow learning to cook with no weirdness attached?
ReplyDeleteJust wondering if I'm boring as fuck.
My story is not entirely Rainbow Dash centered but it does have her making cupcakes and a 'cupcakes' reference of a sort. (It could use a little editing and my idea comes from what I was going to include in my Pony Concept Cavalcade. I had six other ideas backlogged for this event depending entirely on the theme one for each of the main six)
ReplyDeleteI did what I set out to do, length and originality while including the Rainbow Dash cooking theme in lightly.
Now I'm going to float over to my bacta tank and rest, my corneal cortex hurts. (The eye monster creates a huge splash as he summarily drops into his bacta tank and stops moving dude. His minion had to finish typing this out dude. Exscuse the dudes it's just me Trio Dackswell dude. I really need to log Darkon out now I think he burned himself out dude.)
After reading some of these comments I'm kinda glad I didn't enter, even though I still wish I had.
ReplyDeleteMy story was just about her learning to bake muffins with Applejack, after borrowing a cook book from twilight and realizing she didn't know how most of the stuff worked. Kinda seemed like an actual lesson by Applejack as well, and only a small fire when RD took a bit of a nap thinking the smell of fresh baked muffins would wake her up.
Also a guest appearance by a certain muffin loving pegasus at the end. ;)
@Fenix
ReplyDeleteNot at all. My story has Twilight helping Dash make pancakes. Some humorous gaffes, but none that were caused by random zaniness. My only regret was that I had to cut the cooking part a bit short. I'm very tempted to copy it over to a different file and finish fleshing it out, just to see what it looks like.
@Chris
ReplyDelete...ohcrapthat'swhateveryponydidisn'tit.
Well, mine has explosions too. So there's that.
I went with Dash going to Pinkie for help after rather heatedly betting Applejack that she could make a better dessert. Of course, on going home and trying, Dash realizes she doesn't know what the hay she's doing, goes to someone for help, and it works out.
ReplyDeletePinks gets in some excellent offhand commentary on the nature of AJ and Dash's friendship and rivalries. It is going to get finished later tonight, may submit it here when I'm done.
Lol, took me an hour. This was great fun though, I hope we do this again sometime!
ReplyDelete@Cyberfox See ya'll. Your story better have explosions though. Everything's better with random explosions.
ReplyDelete@Fenix I was about to write something like that, but then it all ended up with the whole village torn to the ground. In context, that's one time the phrase "Epic fail" can be used unironically.
@Fire.Esper
ReplyDeleteWell, it has one explosion... Okay, okay, going to bed now!
*Gone 4 realz*
I'm afraid the actual cooking fail was mostly a background event in my story...
ReplyDeleteMy story is simple and heartwarming, with a dawww ending and no grim emotional darkness whatsoever.
ReplyDeleteAm I kidding?
You'll have to wait and see! :D
GAAAAAAAHHHH!!!! I just, right now, had the most awesome best idea for a fic, but it's waaay too late to make it!
ReplyDeleteWhen I saw the prompt, I was mildly dissapointed that I couldn't come up with a good idea, but now that I've suddenly had an amazingly good one I can't even try writing it.
......at the end of my partially imagined story, Rainbow Dash was going to say "By the power of AWESOME!" and to create the best breakfast ever. How cool would that have been!?!??!?!? *Cries*
I loved this event. Next time, though, I shall set a cap (1k words or so) for myself so I can actually finish and edit it instead of bashing out a crap ending at the last minute.
ReplyDeletePlease let there be a next time!
...damn you work! I could have so done this!
ReplyDeleteI hope I can get some sort of confirmation email or something. I really detest waiting in suspense.
ReplyDelete@Sunset Rose
ReplyDeleteThere's 132 emails! Are you crazy?!
Holy shit cereal. have fun with those. ;)
ReplyDeleteI had Applejack and Rainbow competing in an Iron Chef thing that Pinkie set up... and then wasted all my time having Fluttershy trying to help Dash prepare and barely managed to squeeze in the actual competition
ReplyDelete@Saddlesoap
ReplyDeleteDude ... let's be serious, you are incapable of writing something like you described. Or rather, if you did write something like it, you would be forcing it. Not really feeling it at all.
You can't fool me, don't even try to lie.
...
ReplyDelete"WHOA A SPEEDFIC CHALLENGE! THAT'S SOMETHING I CAN GET BEHIND!"
*1 1/2 hours and 3/4ths of a fic later*
"All right, almost done."
"Hey let's go to a movie!"
"But I'm kind of busy right now."
"No you're not."
"I really don't want to see any movies. I've seen pretty much everything."
"We already bought the tickets."
"I still don't want to go, I'll pay you back."
"NO YOU'RE GOING TO MARCH YOUR HAPPY FLANK OVER TO THE THEATER AND WE WILL ALL ENJOY A FUNNY MOVIE."
*One movie later*
"I can't believe you decided to see that movie. I hated it. Why'd we go?"
"I DIDN'T WANT TO GO IN THE FIRST PLACE! DON'T BLAME ME!"
What you have just witnessed was a slightly exaggerated version of my evening, edited slightly for bronies. I am quite frustrated.
And if you're curious for some reason, I saw Bad Teacher. It had some very funny moments, and I could sort of get into it, but I saw the ending coming a mile away and disliked all the characters.
You know what, screw it. I'm going to finish this fic, and submit it as a standalone story.
ReplyDeleteAND THAT'S HOW I WILL END THIS WHINY RANT!
@Cereal Velocity
ReplyDelete^_^
I was just wanting to make sure I did everything right, that's all.
ARGH! I overslept.!
ReplyDeleteCame home really late last night (and was way too tired), so i guess it was expected.
Congrats to all those who completed the challenge.
Oh dear... it seems there could be a whole lot of people are going to finish up there fics and send them in... a wave of Rainbow Dash fics are coming outside the contest xD
ReplyDeleteMy plan was for Dash to ask Applejack to help her make a pie for her sort-of-date with Soarin'.
ReplyDelete...I'm such a shipper.
@Arcel
ReplyDeleteThat might happen!
Also, thanks to Cereal Velocity for volunteering to read 500+ pages of Speedfic submissions without realizing it.
Well, the sad thing is that I knew Cereal meant Google Doc, but in my rush to send it in time (two mins to spare) I attached a doc. Silly me. ~_~
ReplyDeleteProbably not the best story out there, but hopefully not the worst. Heh.
Thanks for organizing this Cereal!
Words can not express how angry I was that I had work during this. This was going to be my excuse to finally write Ponies!
ReplyDeleteI hope this can be done again, for the eurobronies!
ReplyDelete...just don't make me review all 150 of them :D
Organise GMT+0 friendly speed fanfics.
ReplyDeleteAny more speedfic challenges in the future? I saw the post late and knew I had no chance in finishing on time :(
ReplyDeleteI'm feeling impatient and downright giddy right now, so have the link to my story as is:
ReplyDeletehttps://docs.google.com/document/d/1Mdjh0G3ywfQlymnVt7-gj4DddgX_x2ao2yQYAPnqK5g/edit?hl=en_GB
Then again, maybe that giddiness is the aneurysm setting in.
Also @all bronies, look forward to me becoming a regular in all the fic-related challenges. My interest in the art of prose has been rekindled as a blazing inferno! HUZZAH!
...sorry.
DANG!
ReplyDeleteThis morning I decided to start reading Fallout: Equestria. And didn't stop. I finally finished just now, and I totally forgot about the challenge. :(
Would have loved to participate, but alas, timezones ey. Should have tried to figure out what time it would have been for me, but I doubt it would have mattered... Probably like 3 or 4 am or something.
ReplyDelete>mfw I did none of the things everypony is saying "We all did this, didn't we?" to.
ReplyDeleteI had what was basically the intro to an adveture fic, but had a quick cooking scene mixed in.
Also, link if you're as hyperexcited for speedfics as I am: https://docs.google.com/document/d/13m6RWsrdh31vDvj5BZWEEjwY30uLK-x07KcPjeP9cuM/edit?hl=en_US&authkey=CPWBwvwE
So I was late with my submission by 2 hours last night. So I've put it up on DeviantArt.
ReplyDeleteIt's called Dashed Dinner Dreams.

Link if blogger eats the formatting:

>Was at a party with a friend
ReplyDelete>Just chilling on the couch watching TV after dinner
>Glanced at clock, saw 8:59
>Remembered that the speedfic challenge was today at 9 (my timezone)
>Ran home in 10 seconds flat
>Started writing, ignoring all family members and basic hygiene
>Submitted 2 minutes before deadline
We are doing this again. This is great.
I think I came up with one of the best possible titles for mine. And it's funny, too, because the title was the last thing I came up with, after the story was already written. I'd hit on the idea of Dash thinking she could make a lemon meringue pie, because meringue is white and fluffy like clouds, so it stands to reason she'd be good at it.
ReplyDeleteSo in the end, I called it "Meringuebow Dash".
Went ahead and posted it on FF.net; noticed some other people have been doing the same. Really looking forward to seeing it show up here, though.
I managed to pull it off to my surprise. Can't wait to see all the entries and I hope there's another challenge soon.
ReplyDelete
