Am I the only one who really loves the picture Seth used for this post, Twilight as Jelly is awesome. Also I liked the 1st and 3rd PMVs, they were done really well.
I really enjoyed the first one, it was funny, well done, and Weird Al's music isn't that bad. The second one was irritating right away and the third one was really sweet and heart-warming.
The first was funny and well edited. I couldn't finish the second one, heavy metal and ponies don't work for me :/ The third was nice. Very well done :)
Lol, the first one was hilarious, even if just for Weird Al's lyrics matching perfectly to the video clips. x3 Second one was meh, but it's not really my kind of music so I'm not one to judge it I suppose. Third one was really nice. again, great video syncing of the clips to the music. ~Dark~
I love-love-love-loved number 3! <33 The song was so sweet, and the clips matched every line and the mood of the song perfectly :D Only thing I would change is the saturation, I feel like the creator made it too bright. o.O
Say what you want about Lordi, but they were the best thing to come out of the Eurovision song contest for a long time. Less said about Ireland's entries, the better.
#1: Awesome. :) The only glitch was that the video seemed to hit the downbeat ahead of the music a few times.
#2: For the love of Pete's Dragon, don't repeat clips if you can help it! It's lazy and boring. You have over EIGHT HOURS of footage to choose from! How many one-second clips involving rocks do you suppose you could pull? Because I can think of five off the top of my head without even trying.
#3: It was... nice. :) And I really mean that. I'm all relaxed now.

Sweet lord, a Keane pony song.
ReplyDeleteI cannot comprehend this level of awesome.
WOW. Three very high-quality PMVs. The second one reuses clips a bit too much, but they're all very magnificently done.

ReplyDeleteNumber 2 because Lordi rocks!
ReplyDeleteAnd we add another vid to the ever growing collection of awesome Weird Al PMVs. Him and ponies just seem to go so well together.
ReplyDeleteI know it's been said many times now, but he REALLY needs to make an appearance on the show! Say yes, Mr. Yankovic!
#3 totally reminded me that there's a new Winnie the Pooh movie coming out sometime this year.
ReplyDeleteOn a related note, Pooh needs more Pony.
I've always loved the song in #3. Very bittersweet and touching.
ReplyDeleteGoosebumps during #2
ReplyDeleteI remember seeing Lordi win eurovision

ReplyDeleteI've been waiting forever for somepony to do a PMV of #3 (I would have done it if I had a any video editing skill)
Also, Close But No Cigar has always needed more love. It's an awesome song. *is totally not saying that because it's in the style of Cake*
