#1 Not a bad remix, but it's just a Phantom of the Opera remix with a Nightmare Moon picture slapped on it. There's nothing really Pony about it. The creator even says so.
#2 I've known about this for a while, and it's AWESOME. Guy deserves more views.
#3 Meh. Using Dash's "louder" sample and hardly anything else for a YTPMV is getting REALLY OLD.
I love getting home from work to stuff like this! But then when there are no download links... how am I supposed to add that to my 300+ list of pony music/remixes/etc?!?!?!?!
"Using Dash's "louder" sample and hardly anything else for a YTPMV is getting REALLY OLD."
True, but this fandom is extremly loaded with creative people and they are running out of material. Only 26 episodes, difficult to find something that hasn't been used yet.
I admit I'm getting a bit bored of such vids, but I'm still watching all of them. There are always some hidden gemstones among them :)
#2 just...take my money. This song is easy to "metal-ify" but it was tastefully done and the vocals were pretty great. I do suggest however, that you add more passion and dynamics to the vocals, kinda like Scoots was trying to do except you should be in pitch lol. And this just may be a matter of personal taste, but a hint of 80's style metal vocals isn't a bad idea either ;)

ReplyDeleteNumber two somehow managed to make that song manly, despite it being about cutie marks.

ReplyDelete#3 Her face should've totally burst into flames. That was pretty damn awesome.
I wouldn't really call #2 Power Metal, but it is awesome nonetheless.
ReplyDeleteHey, y'know, closing your YouTube account makes the first song REALLY HARD TO LISTEN TO.
ReplyDeleteJust saying.
