I don't know why, but when watching Art of the Dress hard rock cover, sometime after RD's "20% cooler", I got the oddest Believe It Or Not (Real American Hero) vibe from it.
The third one is the first one I've heard that sounds like an actual original recording, like somebody planned it out and actually recorded it with a guitar and a drum kit. They did a pretty good job of it too. I definitely have to give them props for that.
#2 has good lyrics, but the rapper needs to go way harder. His voice is like whispering or something, it would be a lot better if he was more in-yo-face
I really love the first song . . instrumentals are awesome. It was rather short but it still was a fun listen.
The second one was alright, im not into that rap stuff . . . but its still cool bronies are in all kinds of different genras of music and whatnot. Thank you for adding a different sound to the mix!
Third one. EPIC. We need more ROCK COVERS of our fav songs . . . . i think it would be hard for WWU but still i would be excited to listen if somepony did. OMG lol Dashies voice popping in scared the apples outta me XD the song goes silent and . . . LOL
I was wondering when a good metal version of a pony song would come out. It took a while, other forms of music work better with the source material I guess. Good job.
I don't know much about music but I can tell the band in the 3rd song is lacking a bass player, and needs one like the above poster said. (I hope, since I sound so sure of myself)

First one was good but a bit short.
ReplyDeleteSecond one isn't really my kind of thing.
Third one I love, a new style but the original song doesn't get lost in the change.
Loving the third one!
ReplyDeletedecent but meh
ReplyDeletefirst and third were great but first was too short at least for me
ReplyDeleteLove the third one. :D

ReplyDeleteThe others I didn't really like that much.
im a fan of string music.
ReplyDelete#3's my favorite, always been a big fan of the Guitar personally.
ReplyDelete#2 isn't really my cup of tea sadly though, Just not my taste. Nothing wrong with it. same with #1.

ReplyDeleteI actually like #2. It's a huge improvement over the original version, especially in terms of delivery.
ReplyDeleteThat second one is just beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI kinda wish the first one was longer.
ReplyDeleteI love the first and the third one.
ReplyDeleteNot a big fan of the second one, though.
@Jonathan
ReplyDeleteBecause it is! Except for the drums. Those were samples that came with Pro Tools. Everything else though is me playing the guitar.
Thank you!
Second one was great until the lyrics. :|
ReplyDelete#3 was amazing! Electric guitar makes everything 20% cooler :D
ReplyDeleteAll three where fantastic! I love this fandom <3
ReplyDeleteI loved #3 from the second I started listening.
ReplyDeleteThen it got to the 3:30 mark, and my body was not ready.
And now you just need me to play bass for you :D
ReplyDeleteloved the first one though again wish it where longer... the third one was good but WAY too slow for both the song and hard rock...

ReplyDeleteFirst was meh, probably because classical music bores me. Rap is even worse, but I actually enjoyed the second vid. Third was good too.

I really liked #1 and #3, but rap isn't my thing.
ReplyDeletethird one was pretty cool. i like.
ReplyDeletethe first one has to be way longer it was beautiful.
-Love the first one but seems that it needed a better climax.
ReplyDelete-The second one is just too...i don't like it, sorry.
-A rock cover?
Yay!
Hard rock cover is amazing !
ReplyDeleteI was waiting for a HardMetal cover to come out! Nice job!

ReplyDelete#1 is neat, but that's clearly not a lyre. Sounds more like a harpsichord.
ReplyDelete#2 is... all right. I don't like rap in general, so the pic of Pinkamena is kinda MFW I listen to this.
#3 feels a little bit thin to me. Needs more bass, I think. Nice guitar solo, though!
