@Brett Turner I live in Texas also. But like wise, I dunno if I was able to see it. Hell, I didn't even know there was one tonight. And the post was written in passed tense, so I think it already happened.
Yes I watched the livestream... for a minute. I'm sorry I'm just very jaded concerning eclipses I saw the last total one over North America and well yeah. I'm sorry Luna don't send me to the... sun?
Sorry I couldn't see the eclipse, Luna. I really would've liked to, but I live in the U.S., and we can't see it here.
Nocturnio suppresio aeternum. Eternus formidonis, nox noctis, quod obscurum super Ponyville quod totus Equestria - nos es Novus Luna Republic, Gold Shell
I watched it live today at work on my computer. It was cool. But it was even cooler when I saw it rise into the night sky. I'm looking at it right now and...
I did see it, but because the sun went down so frigging slow it lasted for only 12 minutes. It was cool anyways, I've never seen the Moon like that before.
I got off my shift in Afganistan (I'm currently deployed) and immediately went out to see it! I only got 6 hours of sleep but it was totally worth it for Luna ~<3
If you look at the moon, it is tremendously bright right now. Its kinda awesome how bright it is. I had to admire it for a while. I havent seen the moon that bright before!
Canada brony Still went out and watched the full moon (it was gorgeous btw, Thanks Luna). laid down in mah hammock and chilled to Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata. I don't think I've ever been more relaxed.
I just watched the eclipse on all its astral glory, cant be disappointed even when the cloudy weather was a menace to its sight, cant be disapointed by the cosmic dance displayed above my head.
Moon was very low in the beginning (not to mention it was barely visible) so couldn't see it from the street. Just stood outside, turning around, confused
"Where the hay is that F*beeeep* Moon?!" "Is Celestia trolling me?!"
But yeah then I got to the balcony and saw it. Was interesting indeed :) Thanks to Cereal who posted about it a few days ago, otherwise I would probably have missed it.
I got up and watched it, but only saw the first 5 minutes before it got enveloped by clouds Celestia why do you always get the pegasi to ruin anything your sister does?!
>Hear about eclipse >Attempt and fail to convince others to come out at 5am to watch it >Go out alone to see it >Find others all crowded together, viewing the eclipse >Make new friends >Go to bakery afterwards at 6am, acquire cupcakes
I'm sure there's an MLP episode plot in there somewhere...
I couldn't seen Luna in Poland but I seen on page with online moon. Eh I would like to see lunar eclipse in December. I'll be waiting for it and I have hope that sky would be clear. Because yesterday sky in Poland was been cloudy : (
I was planing to go watch it but then wather gave me the finger and choese to give rain all day long. It hadn't been raining for weeks, so ofcourse it's cloudy and raining the day moon exlipse happens....
I went out walking for about an hour yesterday night to go catch the eclipse. It was cloudless night here except for a ridiculously long one that blocked out the moon for several hours <.<
Went out during my break from work, all excited about the eclipse, only to see the whole sky covered with clouds. What the hell Ireland? It was clear and sunny all day until about 7:30 and then BANG, wall of clouds.
Didn't stay up, couldn't see it... Celestia trolled the whole US... and aparently Ireland and parts of Poland... I would congratulate you, Trollestia, but I'm too busy plotting my revenge...
Stationed over in Iraq at the moment, and the night was relatively dust-free, so I had a nice view of it.
The eclipsed Moon doesn't go totally dark; it reflects a little diffuse light that works its way around the Earth's rim. The result is the Moon appears a different color each eclipse due to differences in the Earth's atmosphere at the time. I've seen them come in copper-red, orange, dirty yellow, and even purple.
This one was a dark yellow, almost green--quite unusual, I thought.
English brony here. Got all ready to see the eclipse only to discover a layer of cloud completely blocking the sky. Only got a glimpse of the end of the eclipse.
The pegasi over here are such slackers. Can't even keep the sky clear for one measly night grumble grumble
Couldn't see it either. I'm too far up north, near the polar circle. so the sun barely goes down and the moon is barely over the horizon. so no eclipse for me.
I live in the northern part of the Netherlands, I asked my cousin to come over and then we went to watch the eclipse at the beach close to my house, it was really fun, even thought we couldn't see much of it cause of the clouds blocking our view. Like cameronstalker said, the lazy pegasi did a lousy job that night :P The sky was clear all the rest of the week, so I am disappoint.
Why are you all celebrating my moon disappearing behind mom's planet? And you herald me for it. It's all mom's fault, moving the planet so sis's sun casts a shadow on my moon...

VastaKustuta...That's just as good right?
I'm in America, so yeah no lunar eclipse for me.
VastaKustutaI wonder if being on the edge of NA will give me a fighting chance to see it (Alaska)
VastaKustutaI am one of the many who couldn't D:
VastaKustutaCurse my living in North America!
VastaKustutaStill sending Luna lots of love though!
Freaking Luna. Why would she exclude North America? I mean, I love her as much as any European!
VastaKustutaOh well. I'll love her anyway.
did I already miss it? I was watching Harry Potter
VastaKustutaCurse you Northern Hemisphere blocking my view of the moon. I guess i'll have to wait till december 10th to celebrate Luna day or night.
VastaKustutaNo lunar eclipse for me in the United States, but I did see full one I think two years ago when driving home from school.
VastaKustutaWelcome to America. :(
VastaKustutaDon't be sad Luna I will pay you for the hugs its fine. Perfect compensation for not making the eclipse visible in North America.
VastaKustuta@Brett Turner I live in Texas also. But like wise, I dunno if I was able to see it. Hell, I didn't even know there was one tonight. And the post was written in passed tense, so I think it already happened.
VastaKustuta@Brett Turner
VastaKustutaYou are Texan therefore you win.
*Brofist/hoof/claw/thingy*
Free hugs made me go d'aww....
VastaKustutaAustralian Bronies had the pleasure.
VastaKustuta5:30 AM was a pain, but at least it was there!
Complete cloud cover where I am. Only got to see a dull grey sky.
VastaKustuta*sigh* no love for us Virginian bronies.
VastaKustutaI blame Celestia. I love Luna too much ^.^
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I9MZNEXrElw
VastaKustutaI watched it online. Mexico wasn't south enough...
Durnit... Missed her. Oh well. How often do we get Lunar Eclipses?
VastaKustutaAlready happened here. Was cloudy all night and no moon in sight. I always knew why I don't like you, Luna! Back to the moon with you!
VastaKustutaYes I watched the livestream... for a minute. I'm sorry I'm just very jaded concerning eclipses I saw the last total one over North America and well yeah. I'm sorry Luna don't send me to the... sun?
VastaKustutaI saw a giant yellow orb floating in the sky in Virginia myself... good enough?
VastaKustutaSorry I couldn't see the eclipse, Luna. I really would've liked to, but I live in the U.S., and we can't see it here.

Convinced my sister to buy me a Rainbow Dash brushable because I didn't have my wallet. I now owe her one Rainbow Dash.
VastaKustutaThis is my older sister by the way.
*Hugs Luna* I'll see you next time. Don't worry.
VastaKustuta@Anonymous
VastaKustutaAnd then he was sent to the Sun.
I didn't watch because I don't caaaaare!
VastaKustutaSaw a lovely cloud cover over here, had to watch it online.
VastaKustutaLunar Eclipses are more common than Solar Eclipses.
VastaKustutaWent out for a ride. Saw the full moon beaming over Mulholland just before it disappeared into a thick fog.
VastaKustutaI watched it live today at work on my computer. It was cool. But it was even cooler when I saw it rise into the night sky. I'm looking at it right now and...
VastaKustutaShe is so beautiful...
I'm sorry Luna! I would have watched, but I'm in Nebraska and couldn't see it. D:
VastaKustutaCan I still have several thousand hugs? I'll pay for them if you want me to. You are the best pony ever, after all!
I wuv u! :D
Was not able to see it because somepony did not move the storm cloud's out of the way.
VastaKustutaI did see it, but because the sun went down so frigging slow it lasted for only 12 minutes. It was cool anyways, I've never seen the Moon like that before.
VastaKustutaI got off my shift in Afganistan (I'm currently deployed) and immediately went out to see it! I only got 6 hours of sleep but it was totally worth it for Luna ~<3
VastaKustuta*waves across from the U.S*
VastaKustutaI'm sorry Luna. I couldn't attend to your magnificent eclipse.
@CommunistPrime
VastaKustutaOur love goes out to you brony! Come home safe! #lunademandsit
....america f*ck yeah.... T.T
VastaKustutaIf you look at the moon, it is tremendously bright right now. Its kinda awesome how bright it is. I had to admire it for a while. I havent seen the moon that bright before!

DAM YOU AMERICA!!!!
VastaKustutaSorry, Luna. America couldn't see your nifty work tonight, but we still <3 you!
VastaKustutaARGH, I wanted to see it, WHY AMERICA
VastaKustutaIn Hungary, I was watching it from the balcony :)
VastaKustutaMoon was very low in the beginning (not to mention it was barely visible) so couldn't see it from the street. Just stood outside, turning around, confused
"Where the hay is that F*beeeep* Moon?!"
"Is Celestia trolling me?!"
But yeah then I got to the balcony and saw it. Was interesting indeed :) Thanks to Cereal who posted about it a few days ago, otherwise I would probably have missed it.
I watched the Google eclipse. Which I found to be quite awesome :>
VastaKustutaI tried to, but the weather Pegasi had cloudy weather scheduled and wouldn't negotiate...
VastaKustutalol, I got up at 4:00 to see it, but was blocked by a huge ass hill... :(
VastaKustutaLUNA I'M SO SORRY ;_____;
VastaKustuta@Ivan2294
VastaKustutaI find your logic quite...logical.
Texan bronies ftw.
I got up and watched it, but only saw the first 5 minutes before it got enveloped by clouds
VastaKustutaCelestia why do you always get the pegasi to ruin anything your sister does?!
usa(Indiana) couldn't see it ;-;
VastaKustutai caught the last one, so i hope that counts
VastaKustutaDidn't see a lunar eclipse, but I did admire the perfect full moon for an hour...did a lot of thinking..
VastaKustutaWas last night for me. Stayed up till 5am to watch it.
VastaKustutatoo cloudy
VastaKustutacan't take it easy ze~
Netherlands here. Clear skies and perfect vision.
VastaKustutaLooked at it before I went to bed. Quite cool :) The moon was also generally awesome and bright. Luna knew we would be watching.
VastaKustutaI can's see it here...sorry Luna.
VastaKustutaMoon was quite hypnotic tonigght, very clear here. Wrong hemisphere for the eclipse tho =/
VastaKustutaThere was too much cloud cover to see anything :(. Where're the pegasi when you need them?
VastaKustutaI got trolled by celestia. She left the sun up until just after the eclipse ended.
VastaKustutaMy lunar eclipse experience went something like:
VastaKustuta>Hear about eclipse
>Attempt and fail to convince others to come out at 5am to watch it
>Go out alone to see it
>Find others all crowded together, viewing the eclipse
>Make new friends
>Go to bakery afterwards at 6am, acquire cupcakes
I'm sure there's an MLP episode plot in there somewhere...
I couldn't seen Luna in Poland but I seen on page with online moon. Eh I would like to see lunar eclipse in December. I'll be waiting for it and I have hope that sky would be clear. Because yesterday sky in Poland was been cloudy : (
VastaKustutaI was too busy watching the riots in the town ponies are being animated. If there are any problems reported tomorrow i'm gonna carpet bomb em
VastaKustutaCouldn't see it because I live in The Fillyppines
VastaKustutaAND IT WAS TOO FREAKIN' EARLY! IF I LIVED IN AMERICA!
SORRY LUNA! :(
*stupid trollestia* >:(
I was planing to go watch it but then wather gave me the finger and choese to give rain all day long. It hadn't been raining for weeks, so ofcourse it's cloudy and raining the day moon exlipse happens....
VastaKustutaIn the UK... and it was too Cloudy to see the Moon :(
VastaKustutaHa, finnaly Europe got some good stuff. I saw what Trollestia did to poor Luna...
VastaKustutaMy mom woke me up at 4 to check it
VastaKustutaand all we saw was clouds
I'm not really sure if the Moon was fully covered at that hour since I checked for about 20 minutes
Sorry, Luna D:
/LuckySanityhere
Philippines here. I missed the Lunar Eclipse by 10 FUDGING MINUTES. LUNA!! I have FAILED YOU!! *sobs*
VastaKustutaIt was good in south africa
VastaKustutaSolid grey clouds for my part of the UK last night. Looks cool on Google though.
VastaKustutaNo Luna for me ;_;
VastaKustutaIt's a cloudy rainy day of a cloudy and rainy month.
Don't worry we have chance to see luna eclipse at December.
VastaKustutahttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/December_2011_lunar_eclipse
That is the cutest Luna pic I've ever seen, lordy.
VastaKustutaAlso, missed it because Virginia :(
I'll catch your next one, I promise Luna.
I went out walking for about an hour yesterday night to go catch the eclipse.
VastaKustutaIt was cloudless night here except for a ridiculously long one that blocked out the moon for several hours <.<
Saw it. It was amazing! I could have sworn that I saw luna`s face up there...
VastaKustutaWent out during my break from work, all excited about the eclipse, only to see the whole sky covered with clouds. What the hell Ireland? It was clear and sunny all day until about 7:30 and then BANG, wall of clouds.
VastaKustutaSorry, Luna. Next time for sure.
Luna for Me! what a beautiful eclipse! :D
VastaKustuta^ Same here. Yesterday it was all shiny and good, then suddenly today it's super rainy.
VastaKustutaYeah, the December. Better clouds should not be on the sky or I'll banish them in the moon!
Wait a minute.. IS IT PAINT BUCKET FROM TF2 ON THE BANNER? But how?
VastaKustutaYaaay! I saw it! 8DD all the way here in South Africa! It was amazing!
VastaKustutaIn North America so no luck.. but on an unrelated note.. god I love Luna.
VastaKustutaI suspect Trollestia was somehow involved! The Moon was not visible whatsoever here :(
VastaKustutaOnly managed to see the end of it.
VastaKustuta*tackle-glomps Luna, since she needs the concentrated love directly injected into her soul*
VastaKustutaCloudy weather in the UK fuuuuu
VastaKustutaPertaining to the picture, I'll take you up on that offer.
VastaKustuta*hug*
Looks like I'm one of the few that got to see it. There were clear skies in Kraków, Poland.
VastaKustutaI didn't go out to see it. The moon would be hidden and that would not nice on Princess Luna.
VastaKustutaAlso complete cloud cover helps
Irish brony here.
VastaKustutaI would have seen it, if it WEREN'T FOR THE CLOOOUDS!
In the banner, Twilight acquired a Peculiarly Drab Tincture paint can
VastaKustutaAnd I never saw the eclipse since the UK was covered in cloud. Sorry Luna :(
Poor Fillypino who didn't see the eclipse :(
VastaKustutaAt least we're the same :)
i couldnt see it and i live outside U.S. and i stayed all night :(
VastaKustutaDidn't stay up, couldn't see it... Celestia trolled the whole US... and aparently Ireland and parts of Poland... I would congratulate you, Trollestia, but I'm too busy plotting my revenge...
VastaKustutaI'm sure that the whole North America not being able to see it was part of Empress Celestia's plot to make us hate Luna. It ain't working missy >:I
VastaKustutaStationed over in Iraq at the moment, and the night was relatively dust-free, so I had a nice view of it.

South America here. Couldn't see a thing due to the rain and clouds. I so sad.
VastaKustutaBloody North west England with our cloud cover and tall houses
VastaKustutaSigh. There won't be an eclipse like that till 2141. But in north America we should have a shot at seeing her on April 15,2014.
VastaKustutaI went outside to see it, but the lazy pegasi in our area didn't clear the clouds in time
VastaKustutaEnglish brony here. Got all ready to see the eclipse only to discover a layer of cloud completely blocking the sky. Only got a glimpse of the end of the eclipse.
VastaKustutaThe pegasi over here are such slackers. Can't even keep the sky clear for one measly night grumble grumble
Couldn't see it either. I'm too far up north, near the polar circle. so the sun barely goes down and the moon is barely over the horizon. so no eclipse for me.
VastaKustutaI wasn't able to the the Luna eclipse from where I was. ;_; I had to enjoy it from the Google logo.
VastaKustutaSilly Twilight, that's not a hat
VastaKustutaI live in the northern part of the Netherlands, I asked my cousin to come over and then we went to watch the eclipse at the beach close to my house, it was really fun, even thought we couldn't see much of it cause of the clouds blocking our view.
VastaKustutaLike cameronstalker said, the lazy pegasi did a lousy job that night :P
The sky was clear all the rest of the week, so I am disappoint.
Cloudy, so no eclipse for me
VastaKustutahug me hug me http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LqNOP-596w4
VastaKustutaClouds. I couldn't even see the moon.
VastaKustutaIn Mexico I can't see it T_T
VastaKustutaIt was a clear night. However, due to my locale, I enjoyed the standard full moon instead of this wonder.
VastaKustuta- Texas
luna wants hug? I give her hug! :D
