#1-Needs a lot of work on the recording there. I love the piece but man the quality is poor #2-Sounds goofy, but nonetheless I loved it. #3-Not my cup of tea
I think the joke is that that's not Octavia. Octavia has a Treble Clef Cutie Mark, while the pony there has a Bass Clef, which is generally lower, and she's playing a very low note. On a bass.
Octavia should know better than to play bass like that. Her motion implies she's going to strum it, but she can't hold a pick or hope to play flamenco. She'd have to play slap style if anything. Silly Octavia...
... How is #2 Emotechno? I mean, really, what? It's a calm sort of happy thing, about as far as you can get from anything that could be called emo.
It's good though. Not enough to download, but enough to give me the motivation to write this much.
...Oh wait, there comes what seems to be the breakdown. Yep. That fits a bit better. Frankly I think at 5 and a half minutes, it goes on too long, and for being called Psychotic Breakdown, it sticks happy for too long, and gets over it pretty fast.
While that sums Pinkie up in a nutshell, it kinda goes against the impression I got from the title.
Here's #3: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yLXdiLUPdCM I had to change something in the actual video. Oh and @Delta Pangaea , yeah, I kinda thought "EMO" could mean happy, because I saw that angels and airwaves was labeled "EMO" somewhere. I changed it to electro-pop instead. "EMO" is short for emotional also, but I realized it was was not important because all music is emotional. Sorry for the confusion.
The note Octavia's sister is supposedly playing is the mythical "brown note".
Please do not Google it as I'm answering a question from almost two years ago and it's really not the kind of thing you Google if you want a happy day.

ISMFOF + Ponies?! YES :D
ReplyDeleteSecond one is good. Third one is too.
ReplyDeleteOne is okay, for a music video.
I had high hopes for #1, because I loved "Gimme R D". Didn't really stand out, though.
ReplyDelete#2 and #3 were both pretty cool, though.

Wow, longcomment is looooong.
@Delta Pangaea
ReplyDeleteBreakdown in the middle was actually almost emo. But it was so short that I agree.
Loved them all. 1 was a little bland compared to what song it came from but it was all still good.

Whoever that is in the picture would appear to be playing a really long C flat. Which is kind of odd.
ReplyDelete@Sun Ray
ReplyDeleteThat would be the last song from Round one of the remix war, bro - and eeyup, it was pretty good.
Number 2 is Amazing!
