The top comic would be so funny if it tweren't so sad.
Gummy gives some of the best kisses ever.
The bottom comic has Derpy in her greatest role ever as a real horse, now that's acting.
Also aren't you posed to paint a wagon red and since when did Applejack smoke, if anything I'd rather have a pickle in my mouth if it existed. (My mouth not the pickle, that was yummy)
Paint Your Wagon is a great, and very weird, movie that everyone should see at least once. Also, Clint Eastwood sings and yes it is as weird as it sounds.
Paint your wagon: the only musical I have every seen which involves a mormon selling his wife to a bunch of drunk cowboys who then go on a mission to kidnap some hookers to set up their own brothel. I would like to say that Clint Eastwood and Lee Marvin singing were the strangest things about this movie but really, It gets stranger. It makes that picture up there rather unsettling.
Yeah, I thought Rainbow Dah did already have a pet...a turtle named Speedy.....HEEEEEEEYYY! I got an idea for another comic...how's about Fluttershy's rabbit Angel and Rainbow Dash's turtle Speedy have a race?! Sort of a pony update of Aesop's Tortoise and the Hare!
#1 - I just reread Fair Feathered Friends yesterday. Yeah, Barron Awesome needs to be cannon now. Or at least a pet. Everypony else in the mane cast has a pet.
#2 - Pinkie somehow makes the movie more plausible.
I actually frequently joke about Scootaloo as Rainbow Dash's pet when talking about all their animal friends. I guess now the joke is immediately less original, since it's on Eq. Daily.
Come on hasbro, just give Dashy a freakin companion pet already, and I'm not talking about that god forsaken squirrel either.
I support the idea of Dash having a turtle named Speedy, as long as Twilight is willing to enchant said turtle so that he can walk in Dash's cloud home.
Otherwise he'd just fall through and everypony would have turtle soup after that.
DashxParrot; inb4 Pirate Dash fanart. (Possibly with first mate Scootaloo)

Paint Your Wagon is a western musical starring Clint Eastwood (AJ in the strip) and Lee Marvin.
ReplyDeleteNo, seriously. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0064782/
Applejack smoking looks eerily plausible...

ReplyDeleteThat's because we were brainwashed by Mareboro.
2nd comic:
ReplyDelete"Here comes Twilight Sparkle, thank god. She's always drunk and violent!"
Twilight Sparkle: Hey, what the hell is going on in my town?
ReplyDeleteApplejack: We're just painting this wagon. You got a problem with that?
Twilight Sparkle: As a matter of fact I do... You missed a spot.
Applejack: Well, grab a brush and join in!
inb4 but scootaloo's a chicken not a parrot

ReplyDeleteThank you. I was going to add that in but you beat me to it.
God, I almost died laughing on that second comic.
I wonder how much acid the ponies in the second one were doing...
ReplyDelete1st one: Scootalooooo, Scoot, Scoot, Scootaloo
ReplyDelete2nd one: What? Then I saw the comment above and it all made seance, at least as much seance ponies can make.
As soon as I saw the reference video for that second comic, I lol'd hard.

Obscure Simpsons references and Ponies: two great tastes that taste great together.
ReplyDeletewhy not use their tails to paint? Its the same hair!

Scoot looks so cute as a parrot.
ReplyDeleteThat's such an obscure Simpsons reference, AND I LOVE IT. I named my Ponderosa Pine Lee Marvin.
