Lol obvious rarity is Pisces Aphrodite from saint seiya, the armor is the same (look here for armor pic http://images.wikia.com/saintseiya/images/2/28/Gold_-_Pisces_Aphrodite_1.jpg ), so awesome xD

ReplyDeleteRarity is wearing the Pisces Gold Cloth from Saint Seiya. This, in my opinion, shows us that Madmax is either latin-american or european (Saint Seiya was huge in those two zones). This also explains his/her not-quite-perfect English.

But in the new series, The Lost Canvas, set in the past, Albafika the Pisces Gold Saint is certainly a good guy. One well known for his beauty and fabulousness as well as rightheousness.

ReplyDeleteNot sure if it has been noted, But in comic 2 Twilight has a scar ofer her left eye. Looks like the prince Zuko scar. Then in comic 3 it is gone.

The "real" Celestia has finally gotten some control over whatever it is that is possessing her (will probably something funny or witty), and so she is starting to retake over. But now we see that Evil Celestia uses RELEASE RESTRAINT, and is probably going to take some malicious form, or perform some HYPER COMBO, and epic fight will ensue... At least... That's what I'M hoping for :X
But that's where I believe you "continuity" is.

I know this isn't necessarily meant to be taken seriously, and I know it's only one panel, but the reveal of the crying eye actually kinda struck me. Sort of a less is more and actually unexpected kind of moment, thing... I don't know, maybe I'm just being silly, it just seems to draw me in.

Awesome comic! I guess Pisces works for rarity mostly because of the obsession with beauty... as for whoever questioned if he was a bad guy, yes, in the Sanctuary Arc he is, but by Hades he has returned to serve Athena, although he and Cancer had to be sacrificed as "baddies" to keep the pretense and have Hade's flunkies trust the Golds.
