wow, that was such an awesome story.
ReplyDeleteVery cute. The fairy tale quality worked well.
ReplyDeleteOwl pellets?? As in poo?? And she had to carry them in her mouth?? That's pretty nasty.
ReplyDeleteWell done!
ReplyDeletemuch more of an old Grimm-style fable than a bedtime story (sans the creepy moral to scare kids straight). I couldn't help but see the owl as Owlowicious (or however you spell it).
ReplyDeleteGoddamn that owl.
Hey, OP of that. Topic here. Really glad it got posted. Nice to see it here.
ReplyDelete@AnonymousRegurgitations, actually, not poo.

ReplyDeleteThat's the best kind of story, the kids are too scared to get out of bed till morning! ;-)
Hells yes, something I wrote got published on EqD.
ReplyDeleteI'm so happy I can't take it.
Im gonna party till I drop.
@AnonymousRegurgitations, actually, not droppings. Common in birds of prey. Can't digest everything, so they regurgitate some of it.
ReplyDeleteStill pretty gross, yeah.
clever story. loved the last riddle.
ReplyDeleteKrass McWriter... Do you have any more?
ReplyDelete@Anonymous
ReplyDeleteLike stories or bed time stories?
For the first one I got a fic on why theres so many time lords.
For the second, I COULD make more, its a bit tricky since I like to throw big words, but there for kids so... Yeah.
I liked that last riddle too
Oh, it did get posted. It just didn't get bumped.
ReplyDeleteWho can find my story when its 5 pages deep?
I enjoyed the lessons learned in Krass's stories, but the errors in grammar and spelling distracted me a little too much. I'd recommend that Krass seek a beta reader/editor when writing future stories, just to add that professional polish.
ReplyDeleteLoved the one about the spoiled filly, really touching
ReplyDeleteBedtime stories is one of our bonding activities with our daughter. I remember we used to tell her quotes about sleep too so that she'll remember the importance of getting enough sleep.
