Someone (who doesn't have any awesome pony name for me to use) sent me these in email. Apparently they were hangin out at a nearby Target!
It's good to see more pony merch popping up. That's the sign of a healthy show right there! Now we just need some older demographic stuff...
Because I am definitely not 4 years old.. just sayin. (What have I gotten myself into?)

NICE :D I bet that if Lauren Faust has anything to say about these card we will very soon see some "Happy 22th Birthday" cards :p
ReplyDeleteHave a happy extra-sparkly, magical birthday Timmy.
ReplyDeleteOooo wonder if they're showing up at Wal-Mart. I never thought to look at these.
ReplyDeleteIt's my birthday in a few days and now I know what I really want =3
ReplyDeletegod I hope I don't end up buying one of these for myself... that would be tragic
With a little modification, they also work for a 40th birthday.
ReplyDelete@Anonymous
ReplyDeleteI know that feel, bro
i know that feel
I would so give one to my gf.. she would call me a pedo but whatever XD
ReplyDelete>4 years old
ReplyDeleteWHATAMIFIGHTINGFOR?!
I would get you a sparkly, magical birthday card Seth! :)
ReplyDelete@Anonymous
ReplyDeleteOr 24th birthday.
Can't remember how old Seth said he was, so it probably won't work for him still.
Totally going to Target to look for these now.
ReplyDelete@Anonymous
ReplyDeleteWhy would that be tragic?
I'm 25 and last week I have finally decided to go into a toyshop and look for the pony blindbags. Then I started browsing through them for like 15 minutes to find the codes on their back.
When I was finally done I went to the cashier and placed the delicately selected blindbags on the counter.
The seller gave me a somewhat confused look so I told her "They are for me."
See it's easy. Why would buying merchandise dedicated to little girls for yourself would be tragic?
....
wait
....
FFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU !!!!!
Inb4 Macintosh themed dildo
ReplyDeleteFRIG
ReplyDeleteI was just in a Target last night looking for ponies.
And I didn't think to check anything but the isle of pink.
Grr...
@Anonymous
ReplyDeleteDon't go there, bro. Save that talk for Equestria After Dark.
Or the comment section of a Bic Mac x Anypony shipping fic, whichever comes first.
So is the Celestia one for when you are 1000 years old?
ReplyDeleteDohohooho!
(USER WAS RE-BANISHED TO THE MOON FOR THIS POST)
Wait wait wait wait...
ReplyDeleteCelestia is not pink?
Even because target audience is kids, 4 Years looks kinda... to young for the show.
ReplyDeleteAt least Celestia is white.
ReplyDelete@Anonymous
ReplyDeleteit will probably be anypony who comes before big mac.
*huudd durr face*
I was looking for some FiM cards but all they had in my local store was G3.
ReplyDelete@Don_ko
ReplyDeleteHave to disagree. My 4 year old son likes the show and actually remembered most of the character names after only watching a single episode, and he was 3 then (we've watched many since). His favorite character is Applejack.
Although, of course I wouldn't get a pony card for him. That's really much more of my thing. He likes other shows more.
Love your art btw.
I know what card I'm getting for my girlfriends birthday! 8D
ReplyDeleteI'm still waiting for Tuxedo-Pinkie on a singing invitation card... I would pay that extra money to spread friendship!
ReplyDeleteG3 cards are all I can find around here.
ReplyDeletesure hope they show up
4? Well, they're 14 years off with that one for me
ReplyDeleteFor the older of the audience they should make the following: The cover shows the main cast and reads, "You are an XX year old male and I got you a 'My Little Pony' themed greeting card.". It opens to Trollestia who asks, "Problem?".
ReplyDelete@Anonymous:
ReplyDelete...Be right back, I'm gonna go make a card.
Was looking for cards last time I was at hallmark. Must have nissed the. Want one in october
ReplyDeleteI knew ponies were for younger girls, but 4? really? I expected that number to be a bit higher
ReplyDeleteWell, we could also make our own MLP bday cards for the older fans. I mean yeah, its definitely 20% cooler to get the professionally-made ones, but its not hard to make one's own in illustrator/paint/powerpoint/whathaveyou and complete the "thought that counts process", especially for fellow fans' birthdays.
ReplyDeleteSeriously, if you really want to make someone laugh like crazy, you go and get that 4 year old one, write a zero on after it, and give it to someone who is turning forty. Completely unexpected.
ReplyDeleteAs far as I can tell mlp has always been from 4-10ish
ReplyDeleteEven if its not meant for them 4year olds can enjoy an older kids cartoon. I know I did
and fim is made for kids and there parents so really there isn't a age range outside the stigma of "Its for little girls and your gay if you like it!"
There isn't a reason anyone wouldn't watch this at any age because super young kids can watch it for the bouncy animation and pretty colors. Older kids can watch it for the story and jokes and adults can watch it for the plot.
...DAT PLOT
Aww, they didn't get an pictures of inside the card? I want to know what they say! :p
ReplyDeleteI looked through the cards the last time I was in the greeting aisle, but found nether flank nor feather of any ponies, not even pre-G4.
ReplyDeleteI Bought the pinkie pie birthday card for my moms birthday last week. I thought it was appropiate since she likes to tease me for liking MLP.
ReplyDeleteI work at Target, so I'll have to check this out next time I'm there, see if we have them. I am curious what they say inside.
ReplyDeleteYeah, it's right! 4 years old only.
ReplyDeleteReal grown men do singing telegrams.
I wouldn't put it past my wife to get me a pair of those Pinkie cards for my next birthday...
ReplyDelete(Insert 'Feels old pony' image here.)
Just wondering: how many grown men would actually wear MLP shirts?
ReplyDeleteCute cards. I'm just glad they got Celestia's color right.
ReplyDelete@HolySparks
ReplyDeleteWhy, is your girlfriend a child?
These are pretty neat. The Celestia one looks to be for a generic birthday and... Hey they actually remembered that Celestia is white and not pink! Shocking!
ReplyDeleteI'm 4 and what is this?
ReplyDeleteThat was me that found the cards. Forgot what they said inside, but the Pinkie card had some of the other mane cast. And Celestia is only a LITTLE pink. Not as pink as she usually appears in toys.
ReplyDeleteAlso, these were spotted in So Cal.
I actually got the Celestia card for my birthday. I felt pretty awesome about it.
ReplyDeletethey just stuck the word pony in pinkies card. shes a party pony, work with that.
ReplyDeleteAt least Celestia's White. They should make an April Fools Day Card Featuring Trollestia. XD
ReplyDelete*wants to live in USA*
ReplyDelete>_<
I saw the PInkie Pie card at Wal-Mart (along with some walcreatures). It said something like 'Hope your birthday wishes come true' or about friendship. Hopefully they make invites that sing Pinkie's telegram song. Also, cake and cards? Are you trying to tell us something?
