REBOOT! It always had a good sense of humor and the best part were the games, if only all the games on the show were actually playable.
The spider and the butterknife scene, the wacky super speed rodent and the mortal kombat one were some really memorable times. Like when everyone turned into hyper intelligent and competent zombies, ah yes it was classic.
Interestingly enough, Spirit: Stallion of the Cimmaron is currently my SECOND favorite horse-based cartoon; so that was awesome. Also it fits Dash perfectly, thus making it 20% cooler.
Oh sweet Luna on a pogo stick, the nostalgia! Now I have to buy the ReBoot box set. And that thing was near-perfectly synced. Bob's 'No one knows for sure' line was just a teesny, tiiny scoosh off.
@BlitzWing00 Enzo. They did continue it. CN had some of that arc, but never finished showing it. They did finish the series, though, and made it into a box set. The official ReBoot site also has a slowly-continuing comic of either an alternate digitalverse or continuing from the series' end.
God, the last two seasons of that show were so amazing. First season of Reboot was mostly just silliness, but it did a good job establishing the universe.
As per the sync at that part, I was more concerned about matching actions and movements to the music than focusing too much on the dialogue, but I did pick up on certain frames that seemed to flow well with the voicework and tried to line those up a bit, though, but other than the "My format: Guardian" I didn't pay much specific attention to the words.

Reboot was a good show and they gave it a generally good ending with a snazzy tune. The games were all parodies of everything at that time.
ReplyDeleteRainbow Dash is exclaiming she in not a fooler, she is equal opportunity mare like every other pony.
ReBoot and MLP: Two great tastes that taste great together!
ReplyDeleteHere's hoping that MLP:FiM goes on to be as awesome as ReBoot did as the seasons follow!
All the animators have to do is make it as if they are making it for themselves first.
Reboot was a fantastic show and FiM is a fantastic show as well. Does this mean this video is also fantastic?
ReplyDeleteIt must be.

I remember Get Off of My Back from Spirit: Stallion of the Cimmaron. Great soundtrack, that movie had.
ReplyDeleteI wish Tony Jay was still around to lend his voice to villainy.
ReplyDeleteGoddamit, what an awesome show reboot was. My childhood has been rekindled.

Reboot was awesome...it got really good when Endo became Matrix and got lost in the net.
ReplyDeleteBut they never finish Reboot did they? I know they came back and did a bunch of new episodes....but wasn't there a cliff hanger after that as well?
Agh, my memory's failing....must go download all the episodes.
