Oh...wow...I just loved the use of Masquerade one of my favorite songs from a musical. Part of me wanted to choke Blueblood as the part of Raoul, but then again I have always hated him for how he treated Rarity. But nothing on Earth or Equistria prepared me for the "Phantom of the Gala" that mask. Still can't stop laughing at it, so perfect, so in touch with both the musical and the ep. To the one who made that PMV...yay! Keep up the good work!
...though how much masculinity do I have to give up in order to note (on a pony blog, no less!) that the original cast recording is FAR superior to the movie soundtrack version? (Which I was able to identify as such within a few bars?)
My favorite song from my favorite musical, done perfectly! While Psychoshy wearing the mask did make me laugh out loud, I actually found it funnier how the line 'Every face a different shade' works so well with My Little Pony.
Cdougrow, congratulations. I now have a new favorite PMV.

Well, everypony's heard about the bird!
...Thing is, all they'd need to do to permanently confirm Trollestia is have her quote that song. Not even sing it all, just one line.
Kill Spike...that was awesome. Seriously, everything fit perfectly! How can My Little Pony fit so well with EVERYTHING!?
ReplyDeleteThe first video... Funny how nice Blueblood seems when you give him a different voice.
ReplyDeleteThe second video... epic.
The third video... meh.

ReplyDeleteAlso, thanks to Xlerb for giving me a much better title for the video. Don't know how I didn't think of that.
I'd been avoiding these in fear of getting hooked.
ReplyDeletemy fears are confirmed: these are indeed entertaining.
How did I know Fluttershy would be the Phantom?
ReplyDeleteI am a huge Phantomphile and I found myself grinning like a loon during that entire video.

ReplyDeleteHow the ending was done on the phantom PMV (My favorite Opera btw [not that I've seen any others]) was hilarious.
ReplyDeletePlease tell me there's more Phantom coming. I like.
ReplyDeleteI, too, would love to see more Phantom.
