• Official Pony Shirts for Pre-Order?

    A T-Shirt website called Shark Robot currently has Friendship is Magic shirts for pre-order.  Unlike most of the shirt buying locations we use, this one doesn't have customer owned shops built in.

    I'm not sure about the legality of it, but wouldn't this require them to have acquired the license for this?

      Actually, I don't think the mane character's cutie marks are copyrighted, just their names and full likenesses.

      Are there images of the whole shirt, or just the cutie marks? Not that it matters all that much, just curious.

      Actually, I think they're like the others, only SR is practically self-managed.

      Say web comic A makes some designs for shirts.
      In the same way Shirt Bronies did, A will submit the designs to SR, who will set up the shop, make the shirts and ship them.
      A still gets money with minimal work.
      In this way, who ever submitted them is practically anonymous.

      lol @luna I can't decide between pinkie pie or rainbow dash and I can only afford one for now >.< That said i'd really like to see what the shirts look like and here the cutie mark is placed.

      I bought a World of Warcraft shirt from these guys a few years ago. I don't think it was licensed, but it was really high quality.

      You know, if you all want to be able to just design and order your own shirts, there are several websites where you can do so quite cheaply.

      I would recommend http://www.customizedgirl.com

      I actually work at customized girl so I might be biased, but I really do think they have one of the easiest to use shirt design centers and some of the best value for single orders.

      I may have to support SharkRobot even though I don't like them. They seem to take a lot of liberties with other people's properties. However, they make a freaking Pinkie shirt that is actually pink! That's the one reason I don't have one from shirtbrony.
