I've updated the fanfiction submission page with a quick rule.
Please have ONLY the title of the story in the subject line of the email you send. Nothing else!
Just trying to clean things up a bit! Everything else remains the same in the body of the email.
You can find all rules here as always

ReplyDeleteTwilight will be pleased.
oh, oops.. >.>
ReplyDeleteForgot about that one... since it wasnt on the fanfic submission page....
wee, i fix things by making them more complicated >.<
(I know this post is cause of me, sent in a fanfic with the subject line as fan fic submission like 10 mins ago ) :x
woot, im helping?
@ZAquanimus
ReplyDeleteNah, it literally changed 10 seconds before you sent it.
Duly noted. Bridled Fury Part 5 is in the works, for those who care.
ReplyDelete@Sethisto
ReplyDeleteLol, that's what happened with the last fanfic I sent in XD...
Speaking of which... I should go write those other chapters... >.>
@ToonNinja
ReplyDeleteFabulous. :D
You just reminded me to write a Part 2 of my fic.
ReplyDeletesorry. I`ll try harder next time.
ReplyDeletenot to usurp blogpony (just yet *cue beard-stroke and grasping-fingers expression*) but it's fair to put
ReplyDeletestory: [title of fanfic]
or
fanfic: [title of fanfic]
or
update: [title of fanfic]
- the first two for new submissions, the last for updates to already-existing ones. there's no magic there, yet, but there's quite a lot of "fanfic submission" emails (i've got something like 500 in my email box just for pony, and almost all of them are fanfics) and they're hard to sort through if I miss one (I say "I" but I can assure you it's pretty much the same for everypony)
I can imagine why you ask us to do it like this ^_^;
ReplyDeleteNo problem man, count with it!
I hope you don't mind that I added Update at then end with my latest chapter :)
ReplyDeleteA quick question, if you don't mind: If you have a story-specific unhosted image to append to a story submission, can you attach it to the E-mail? Or is there another way one should go about attaching a specific title-image to a story?
