Yes, they did air it.
Yes, it was unedited. Yes, it was the same version the blog received.
Yes, it was fucking awesome.
Poor Cereal and his iPad.
Have an image and a Not-Fanfiction tag

Also, I would like to announce... I love the Hub now. Even if they did give MLP the worst time slot ever last season.
Stop editing my posts!

CV, for once, we're in agreement.
ReplyDeleteI love you, too, Pacce.
ReplyDeleteToo bad no 4 minute version. But nevertheless, I'm still very thrilled about the course of events :D
ReplyDeleteUh, did I miss something? What was aired?
ReplyDeleteAnd then I was filled by the magic of friendship, and it was good
ReplyDeleteI was hoping for a fuller version, but it was still cool to see it aired.
ReplyDeleteI'm chiming in with ZettaLux: what the heck are we all talking about?
ReplyDeleteI WAS THERE! I SAW IT
ReplyDeleteThat was the most amazing thing I have ever seen. I can die happy now.
ReplyDeleteEQUESTRIA! FUCK YEAH!

See http://www.equestriadaily.com/2011/05/extended-equestria-girls.html
Crap I missed it!
ReplyDeleteI thought the Family Movie aired at night time...
...Alright yeah, plus I forgot it was Saturday.
I thought it was after the movie, but then I heard it and looked up.. Only to see it on a large HD television. And now it's stuck in my head more. Awesome.
ReplyDeleteI just saw it, and it was glorious.
ReplyDeleteShoot! I missed it. I made it home on time but forgot to turn on the TV fast enough.
ReplyDeleteI couldn't stand it the first dozen times I watched it.
ReplyDeleteNow I'm starting to like it. Just a little.
I have it tivoed! Unfortunately I don't have HD.
ReplyDeletedont have the hub i saw it on the internet and i was like OMG FUCK YEA PONYS YAY
ReplyDeleteB)
ReplyDeleteNow all children will hear the word "Bronies" and laugh.
ReplyDeleteIt is good day to be fan.
Sweet! Wish I was actually feeling well enough to watch it since I've off today... /sadpony
ReplyDeleteReally wish it was the full parody, but what ever.
ReplyDeleteLucky lot.......England doesn't get your perk's.
ReplyDeleteI'll just get into this corner and mope!

ReplyDeleteI was kinda hoping for a longer one... but it's still amazing awesome.
ReplyDeletei saw it... oh how this fandom has grown, i remember when it seemed like a phase to some... but now its seen everywhere.
ReplyDeleteMy very own forum hang-out has even had some pictures put in the drawfriends... it really makes me feel part of the start of this...
I love you guys :')
FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK! YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteok I overreacted..
I totally forgot. Then again, I don;t get the Hub on our DVR nor pony is available (yet) in spanish.
ReplyDelete:(
I could not watch it, but I find this news easy to clop to.
ReplyDeletewhy did i not watch! WHY YOU NO TELL ME WHEN IT START!?
ReplyDeleteThis is rather awesome!
ReplyDeleteAlso, apart from the imageless reply button, I love how the votes of a post are now on top rather than having to open the post itself to see the rating. THIS HAS HELPED ME GREATLY.
ReplyDeleteAnd there was much rejoicing.
ReplyDeleteI recorded and uploaded the Equestria Girls song live on the HUB, yeah it's nothing new. But it was awesome.
ReplyDeletehttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=isArWNN3G5c
Spread the love, also, will they show it again?
ReplyDelete@Roman500bc
ReplyDeleteYay!
Guys, Hasbro just used a fan made name and the word "bronies" in official promotional material. I think they finally understand their target market!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea to make a no fanfic button.
ReplyDeleteSadly it doesn't work very well, I would've missed this when I would still use the button.
Please fix it, this is not the only thing that the "no fanfiction" button takes away.
I watched 15 minutes of that terrible Garfield movie to see that commercial.
ReplyDeleteAnd it was totally worth it.
Sucks to be English right about now.
ReplyDelete@TenchiFreak5
ReplyDeletei just kept it muted and glanced back at my TV every 30 seconds or so to check if it was a commercial break
@Anonymous
ReplyDeleteOne can hope. My wallet is waiting for them to catch up with all us bronies.
--
Sadly, no Hub here so I didn't get to catch it on TV. I may have already watched and listened to it a lot already, but catching it on TV would have been amazing.
I know looking at the comments isn't much effort, but it really does annoy me when there are posts like this where if you don't know what it was talking about beforehand, you have NO idea.
ReplyDeleteWhat if My Little Pony becomes the next Pokemon?
ReplyDeleteDidn't they say there'd be other stuff as well?
ReplyDelete[fluttershy]yay[/fluttershy]
ReplyDeleteThanks for the new wallpaper, Seth! :-D
ReplyDeleteAnd so, Hasbro and the Hub discovered who their true demographic was, and began airing the show at a time more appropriate for bronies' schedules, and also began spreading the show to international stations. More merchandise was made, but was instead aimed at the older viewers who totally had the money to buy all the clothes and toys they could now enjoy. The more empowered Friendship is Magic generation, thanks to retooled marketing and broadcasts outside North America, would go on to lead the nations of the world to an era of peace, love, and happiness. Then, when the clouds open up and the Two Sisters beckon their followers to leave behind their human world and find paradise in Equestria, all will join them, even the most stubborn of neigh-sayers. Then Pinkie Pie will throw the best. PARTY. EVAR.
ReplyDeleteSomeone MUST have got it in HD?
ReplyDeleteDang it! I missed it. Oh well. At least I've seen it before.
ReplyDeleteThey cut out the extended part on the second airing.
ReplyDeleteStill amazing.
They already aired it? I thought it was airing after the movie which ends in like 20 minutes? Will they air it again???
ReplyDeleteThe ad is going to show up from now on on The Hub. It might not be the full version all the time, but it will pop up here and now.
ReplyDeleteAnd don't worry about it having a bad slot initially, it has a very good slot now, and plenty of people will get to see it on the repeats as we wait until Season 2 Officially begins.
Hope for next season: "My little ponies" is only used by Celestia to address her subjects, or maybe when talking about the CMC. I know they need to mention the brand, but it's really weird when used by anyone else.
ReplyDeleteThey showed it a second time during the movie... but the second time was the shorter 30 second version.
ReplyDelete^^above anon
ReplyDeleteI think Pinkie used it in Fall Weather Friends when announcing.
Motioning for International Bronie Recognition Day to be celebrated every May 28th.
ReplyDelete>even if they gave MLP the worst timeslot ever
ReplyDeleteSpeak for yourself, it was perfect for me. I had no classes or work and yet no family was home. Win/win/win situation.
Oh that pinkie pic up there is just golden! :D
ReplyDeleteI have the hub available to me, but I was unaware of any of this. FUCK
ReplyDelete>Even if they did give MLP the worst time slot ever last season.
ReplyDeleteActually, it was the best timeslot ever. For eurobronies at least.
I really hope this post becomes an edit war; that would be the funniest thing.
ReplyDeleteThis is so epic. I ALMOST got to see it. ALMOST.
ReplyDelete@Anonymous
ReplyDeleteAhhh yes, I can see it in the future. The Church of Clestia.
This post got 20% cooler with using johnjoseco's picture :)
ReplyDeletei missed it! my life is empty... when will they play it again? im watching hub right now waiting for it. also cause my bro remembered he wanted to watch haunting hour. he said that and i was like,
ReplyDeletedamn it all to hell!
im sad.
confound these ponies they drive me to love their music videos.
ReplyDeleteI think it was going to be 4 minutes long.
ReplyDeleteAnd what was there to edit?
Sooo...
ReplyDeleteDoes this mean we can get an HD version soon?
The one we have atm is only 360, I mean, god damn that's low...

The picture of the post actually smells like cotton candy if you print it. Try it!
ReplyDeleteI can't Imagine the Sugar High Pinkie would get in Candy Land and how much more Insane she'd be (Not that it would be a bad thing.)... ;P
ReplyDeleteI have no HUB so yeah, thank Luna for this site.
ReplyDeleteI got home earlier today JUST IN TIME to catch it. I did a dance of joy.
ReplyDelete> worst time slot ever last season.
ReplyDeleteI don't know... it worked out great for me because I had Friday afternoons off last winter. Plus, I arranged my entire schedule for next fall under the expectation that they weren't going to randomly screw with the timeslot. So next fall I will be off from 1:00 - 2:30 Friday... and I don't need to be. Oh well!
Do we know when the new episode will air first?
This is the most amazing moment to our fandom so far, I think. BROHOOF!
ReplyDeleteI really want to use this image. I truly do.
ReplyDeleteExcept it's PinkIE Pie. Not Pinky Pie. Sadface.
