Starting at 7:19 in Part 1 and continuing on to Part 2 is a Daniel Ingram interview. It has some interesting behind the scenes stuff that I think a lot of you composers/musicians would enjoy.
TV Interview Part 1
TV Interview Part 2
It's awesome how close he is to the community now. I really can't wait for season two.
As always you can follow him at his Twitter or check out his Facebook Account or Website for more information!
Also what's with the amazing offices they get over there in Canada? I could LIVE in one of those.
Also be sure to tune in to the live interview happening on 91.8 The Fan at 2:00pm PST!

I afraid that the song playing during his interview is from Martha Speaks guys.... =(

ReplyDeleteWell its still a nice song and its Still Daniel Ingram
ReplyDeleteI was so excited to hear this I reached over to get my headphones and ended up knocking over my chair.
ReplyDeleteAnd then somebody says it's from Martha Speaks. :I
anyone got a tl;dr version?
ReplyDeleteLet's cheer for him on June 11th for the LEO AWARD :)
ReplyDeleteThough I'm not sure if I really want that, the more successful he becomes the more likely he will be fetched away for something big leaving MLP behind :(
Yes, I'm being selfish now.
Skip to 7:22 on the first part.
ReplyDeleteThanks to willman2k8 for pointing that out in a YouTube comment. :)
@Ewyndall
ReplyDeleteUnless MLP stops growing, it WILL be something big already.
@Matthew-147
ReplyDeleteThat makes more sense... I was wondering why a background pony (or at least one with a different voice than the main cast) was getting a song
>all-of-my-adulation.png
ReplyDeleteThat may be unprofessional of me, but so what? Rock on, Daniel. Looking forward to -every- song in Season 2. ^_^
2:00pm PST, that's 21:00 GMT, right? I can hardly wait. ^^
ReplyDeleteThat's in an hour.
It's 22:00 GMT, add one more hour ^^
ReplyDeleteGMT is BST right now guys. Isn't it at 23:00?
ReplyDelete@Shidoshi
ReplyDeleteHah, good point :)
the interview is in 1 hr 55 mins on 91.8 the FAN
ReplyDeleteOmygoshomygosh I CAN'T WAIT for the interview
ReplyDelete@Anonymous
ReplyDeleteBut... http://wwp.pacific-standard-time.com/
Isn't PST GMT-7 then?
It's less than an hour from now... RIGHT??
ReplyDelete2pm EST = 4pm CST = 5pm EST
ReplyDeleteIt's and hour and a half from now.
I hate timezones
ReplyDeleteSomeone record it and post it here later!!!
ReplyDeleteI'd love to sit around waiting for it to start but I have to go to work!
Confound these ponies, the drive me to consider skipping work!
@Kentora
ReplyDeleteEST? But he wrote PST.
It would be really nice if the radio station wrote what timezone their times are in, or perhaps if they had a clock on their homepage.
ReplyDeleteHaha thank you Kentoro!
ReplyDeleteFor those who are in trouble finding out what time it is where: http://www.timezonecheck.com/
ReplyDelete@Kapten-N
ReplyDeleteNot everyone is in the PST timezone.
I was translating the other timezones so people in EST and CST know when to tune in.
...DUR HURR. That was a typo, oops. That first one should read PST, not EST.
ReplyDeleteMy bad, my bad!
@Kapten-N
ReplyDeleteWell as I check their track lists and such, I'm getting the overall impression their times are in the PST timezone.
I'm sticking to that :)
For those who are still confused:
ReplyDeletehttp://wwp.greenwichmeantime.com/time-zone/usa/pacific-time/
I wish people would just switch to UTC *sigh*
The Youtube interview was a bit to short for my taste. Still glad to hear that he actually enjoys the fan feedback :)
I'm in the PST so I'm all good here. Anyways was J-pop earlier. Now it's some sort of rock.

For those too overly daft to understand military time.
@Agnitio Ex Machina
ReplyDeleteYou really don't have to be that disdainful.
I'm sure people could figure out on their own from the list I wrote.
Darn, here I was thinking it was happening now, and there's still almost an hour left. At least I found the stream ahead of time...
ReplyDelete@ActionScripter9109
ReplyDeleteSame here! Need to kill some time until then...
TIL Bronies will post half a dozen explanations to what time it is, within 10 minutes just to make sure noone misses a Daniel Ingram interview
ReplyDeleteI don't know why they mentioned the Leo Awards. I looked through the nominees and Daniel's Ingram's name didn't show up.
ReplyDeleteMethinks it might be worth it to watch those Leo Awards mentioned in Part 2, if one can get a hold of a BC TV feed... just to see if they give him a Leo for MLP. XD
ReplyDeleteIt's official, they just announced they're interviewing Daniel in 30 minutes. Also, they acknowledged the existence of bronies.
ReplyDelete@NoCtrl
ReplyDeleteNo, people should switch to GMT.
@Agnitio Ex Machina
That's not called military time. It's regular 24h time. I know that the military is the only entity in USA that uses 24h time, but military time is when you write/say it as "1400" ("fourteen-hundred").
@Agnitio Ex Machina
ReplyDeleteI hope the actual interview has way better sound quality than the announcement. The dude's mic sounded like it was crapping out.
@ActionScripter9109
ReplyDeleteSo true. Seemed like he was talking outside with a bad reception.
News flash: the DJ loves ponies.
ReplyDeleteAwesome, but i wish he had a better sense of humor.
ReplyDeleteAh, new mic online. And he sounds fine. And he's clearly a brony. This is going to be great. :D
ReplyDeleteThat girl singing in the Martha Speaks song is Scootaloo's VA.
ReplyDeleteUh...So how do I get to the interview? That page is full of a lot of stuff, I'm not sure where it is!
ReplyDeleteStarts in 5 minutes. When you get there, just click to the listen button. :3 Whichever one you prefer. It's a radio station.
ReplyDelete@Kentora
ReplyDeleteClick either the "Listen Now" or "Lite Player" buttons on the top-right near the lady.
@Retl
ReplyDeleteOh okay, thought so. I was just seeing these people talking about some guy's mic, but all I was hearing was music so I was a bit confused.
MY BODY IS READY
ReplyDeleteI can't wait!!! :D
ReplyDeleteHERE WE GO!
ReplyDeleteI hope we wont crash the site haha
ReplyDeleteInterview
ReplyDeleteI'm just hearing music! Where's the interview, goddammit?!
ReplyDeleteLol I'm guessing the DJ's having trouble turning off the music.
ReplyDeleteWhere's the interview?
ReplyDeleteCMON RADIO, Y R U NO INTERVIEW
ReplyDeleteListening to this radio waiting for the interview reminds me why I don't like anime/japanese stuff anymore. Ugh.
ReplyDeleteTrying to force-off the schedule Mister DJ? Just pull the plug.
ReplyDeletePlanet Wisp Act 1 from Sonic Colors playing in the background.
ReplyDeleteFUCK YES
Wooooooot! :D
ReplyDeleteIT'S ON IT'S ON IT'S ON /FANGASM
ReplyDeleteinb4 "my body was not ready"
ReplyDelete"The secret word! Hurr durr!"
ReplyDeleteI will be the first one to say: the interviewer isn't that brilliant
ReplyDelete@Anonymous
ReplyDeleteToo slow.
>Interviewer's favorite song is Art of the Dress
ReplyDeleteHell yes.
Lol crappy equipment.
ReplyDeleteAt least Interviewer watches the show. He redeemed himself in my eyes.
ReplyDeleteWow, it just broke up hardcore for me. Is the stream going nuts for you guys?
ReplyDeleteIts lagging once in a while, yes.
ReplyDeletePrimal Dialga music! ^_^
ReplyDeleteIs there a way we can comunicate with them while in the interview?
ReplyDelete@Anonymous Just hope they read those comments lolz
ReplyDeleteEquestria daily mention!
ReplyDeleteDANIEL JUST MENTIONED EQUESTRIA DAILY.
ReplyDeleteOfficial. He's working on Season 2 songs.
ReplyDeletehe mentioned ED twice :D
ReplyDelete@Anonymous
ReplyDeleteThey have an IRC channel somewhere :P
Radio broadcasting equipment...FAIL
ReplyDeleteNo! Not a break! >:(
ReplyDeleteOh gosh this laaaag
ReplyDeleteGrr, stream derp again. I wonder if that's why they took a break.
ReplyDeleteGoddammit guys, there's too many of you listening, the broadcast is breaking up bad.
ReplyDeleteThere's too much distortion. :/
ReplyDelete@Anonymous
ReplyDeleteThe broadcast isn't affected by the number of listeners. At least broadcasting shouldn't work that way.
Host, you already just look silly. lol
ReplyDeleteEquestria Girls: He had nothing to do with it.
ReplyDeleteLive chat? They mentioned a live chat! I must find this livechat.
ReplyDeleteProbably on their website. You probably need an account, as well. Also if you get on, tell him to STFU the background music. I like my interviews like Public Radio International.
ReplyDelete...Am I an idiot for thinking these songs were performed by an actual orchestra, rather than just being computer-generated orchestral sounds/instruments? :L
ReplyDeleteHOLY FUDGE. This background music is from Kingdom Hearts II.
ReplyDelete@Anonymous
ReplyDeleteI doubt it if you don't normally listen to orchestral music.
@Agnitio Ex Machina
ReplyDeletemfw Daniel Ingram won't stoop to Katy Perry's level
Is anypony recording this?
ReplyDeleteFor those of us who can't listen in?
The stream just plain doesn't work for me and I've been trying make it do so since the announcement 2 hours back.
The player just sits there, silently mocking my love of music and pink ponies.
Can't hear shit.
ReplyDeleteLol the retarded DJ cut-out the mics.
ReplyDeleteFrack, we lost him.
ReplyDeleteCode geass opening
ReplyDeleteWELL...That was a little disappointing. Nothing new really.
ReplyDeletewhoops, looks like we lost him.
ReplyDeleteThey should have asked when season 2 starts.
Silly Skype, always disconnecting at the worst times.
ReplyDeleteCute interview, but unfortunately "The fan" kept crapping out on me.
ReplyDeleteLol water-ear sound.
ReplyDeleteSo it's about 2:00-2:35 interview. Now I'm out. Screw this weaboo-oriented music.
ReplyDelete"Everything you want, and nothing you don't!"
ReplyDeleteExcept I only wanted to hear the interview, so I'm outta here! [YaoMing.png]
Ok that was kinda cool, except for the lagging, the disconnect, the occasinal distortion and the slow pace in the beginning of the interview. But still i liked it :)
ReplyDeleteFolks: on the homepage of the Fan there's a [Community] tag and in the list you can see IRC, that's where the chat is, no registration was needed and the interviewer did seem to read it.
I was trying to spam the chat about the music we could here in the TV interview and he did ask it from Mr. Ingram :) Sadly Ingram comfirmed it's not from Season 2 :(
Anyways, those who have missed it, it got comfirmed many times on the chat by admins/mods that the whole interview is recorded and will be posted (same as they did with the Tara Strong interview), so no worries :)
Funny note from the chat: a MOD said if we reach 100 people in the chatroom he will watch an MLP episode. Just a few minutes before the end we hit over 100 so we might got a new member into the herd ;-)
@Ewyndall
ReplyDeleteTara Strong interview?! Give me a link!
@Anonymous
ReplyDeleteIt's from a long while back, just search on EqD for tara Strong, it will give the article and the link in it.
@Ewyndall
ReplyDeleteThat...was...awesome.
@Anonymous
ReplyDeleteFor anyone lazy enough to not check:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kgk8_fS-Y8Y
Amazing. :D
ReplyDelete...
That Office looked like a Room, a very Nice Room.
At first I thought, "Woah! Martha the Dog sounds a lot like Rainbow Dash! Let's go wikipedia that shit up!"
ReplyDeleteIn the end, turns out she is the voice actress for Rarity and Nightmare Moon. O.O Didn't see that coming. Oh, and interestingly, she's the voice actress for Scootaloo in the original series. At least she is still somehow connected to the ponies! >=D
