Ingenious magically grafting an apple to the plate with a helium loaded floating apple... so that it would lift the plate up thus making you pay her for the apple infinitely.
[Quote fromAnonymous] [Hey, I just realized, shouldn't Luna's banner have said "Equestria Nightly"?] Yes...but i thing it's in my other pants pocket. Only, it doesn't make a bit of difference, guys. Twilight's gone, remember? The Elements are inert...
But anyways, seriously, great job on such a fantastic milestone. This site really deserves all the attention it's getting and then some. Will we hit 10 million before season 2 do you think?
Half a million? Um, you might want to revise tha....wait, did I just get Trollestia'd? Anywho, congrats all round. I seriously don't know how you do it, all I know is we appreciate it. I think this blog will play a big part in keeping the fandom together through the pony drought.
5 million! And still going strong.On this special ocasion I would just like to say that not only am I proud to be a Brony but proud to get to know others as well. This is seriously one of the greatest fandoms I have ever joined. Thanks to all! And I bet that we will get to 10 million real soon! Love you guys and wish you the best.
I am going to do something that all never thought possible. I am going to out troll Trollestia. I will only do this once. If you inject helium into an apple, it is impossible for it to have negative weight. For Helium has mass. *Troll face*
I want to question how this works, seeing as in our world, we can't even float the average twisting/modeling balloon with helium because of the ration of weight/volume, buuut IT'S PONIES I SUPPORT THIS IDEA and besides, I just like to see more Celestia in general. <3
But if the apple is floating, how can the scale read its weight? Also, floating objects still technically have weight. If something is floating in the water, that doesn't mean it weighs any less than it did on dry land.
Helium does not make balloons float because it has negative mass. It makes balloons float because it is less dense than air. That is the same reason why Twilight's hot air balloon floats, because hot air is less dense than cold air.
If you inject an apple with helium (assuming it's even practically possible), it will actually have a slightly greater mass, meaning it is heavier.
how this would work with a few edits for reality :P step 1: attatch magnet to the bottom of an apple step 2: attatch balloon to top of apple full of helium. step 3: buy apple, the magnet will hold it on the plate and the helium balloon will make your apple lighter problem celestia :P

A tad early, but I love the banner.
ReplyDeleteJumped the gun slightly but in the next ten or twenty minutes yeah that won't matter.
ReplyDeleteHehehe Trollestia is at it again, but it doesn't make sense. If it's not applying pressure how can it get negative grams?

Hey, I just realized, shouldn't Luna's banner have said "Equestria Nightly"?
ReplyDeleteYou might want to fix that post, Seth.
ReplyDeleteFive million is a little more than half a million.
Fastest. Growing. Fandom. Ever.
ReplyDeletebugger; I tried to get a screen cap but hit 5mil and 6; should have tripped the capture a might sooner

Haha, that isn't half a million Seth.
ReplyDeleteBut anyways, seriously, great job on such a fantastic milestone. This site really deserves all the attention it's getting and then some. Will we hit 10 million before season 2 do you think?
Half a million? I think he's just trollin'!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations anyways!
@Basharoonskis
ReplyDeleteI don't think we'll get that high. But probably at least 7.5.
Congraturation!
ReplyDeleteSince when are equestrian apples sold by weight?
ReplyDeleteAlso, 5,000,000 All Hail the Moon empress!
Brotip: Use magnets for faster helium. Apple stores will go bankrupt!

ReplyDeleteIs there anyways to show some Celestia love???
ReplyDeleteunless apple is attached to plate.
ReplyDeleteCongratz! 10 000 000 is near!
Aaand there's already been another two thousand hits.
ReplyDeleteHow many hits does this site get per hour? I'd expected it to really drop after the finale, but that counter just keeps getting faster.
The only problem with this logic is that if it's in the negatives it won't be staying on top of the weight, but other than that the logic is seamless.
ReplyDeleteAnd congrats by the way Seth. :)
ReplyDeleteLuna does not approve of this theme...
ReplyDeleteNeeds more happy Luna
five million pageviews!
ReplyDeleteseeend them to the moon!
happy celestia day.
She looks cute in 3rd panel lol

ReplyDeleteoh my gosh,Seth, you play LoL too? What's your name ingame? We should totally play sometime!
I'm going to keep reloading the blog.... FOEVVVVEEEEERRRRRR.
ReplyDeleteI am going to do something that all never thought possible. I am going to out troll Trollestia. I will only do this once. If you inject helium into an apple, it is impossible for it to have negative weight. For Helium has mass. *Troll face*
ReplyDeleteOk, I am done trolling, ta-ta!
@Tim Newton
ReplyDeleteCheers!
If it's a negative weight...how can it remain on the scale?
ReplyDeleteTo everyone wondering how the negative weight apple stays on the scale:
ReplyDeleteMAGIC (duh!)
Why did I giggle at the banner?
ReplyDeleteI feel bad now.
~Display Name
If by magic you mean glue
ReplyDeleteAlso, I missed it yet again... I'm starting to notice a trend here
But nice work everypony (and non-pony)
That's not how sience works ! FFFF...
ReplyDeleteWell done Trollestia, I mean Seth !
But... she's kinda the empress and godess of equestria... so, shouldn't she already get infinite money and apples by just sitting on her butt?
ReplyDelete@Cooper
ReplyDelete♪Ohhh Cooooper♪♫! The mass-age is also in the medium! That's why wood, ducks and witches float (but no very small rocks).
\troll
I want to question how this works, seeing as in our world, we can't even float the average twisting/modeling balloon with helium because of the ration of weight/volume, buuut
ReplyDeleteIT'S PONIES I SUPPORT THIS IDEA and besides, I just like to see more Celestia in general. <3
5mil. all the way across the sky
ReplyDeleteI'm sure I'm not the first to say this...
ReplyDeleteBut if the apple is floating, how can the scale read its weight? Also, floating objects still technically have weight. If something is floating in the water, that doesn't mean it weighs any less than it did on dry land.

@Anonymous
ReplyDeletetrollscience, how does it work?
@Anonymous
ReplyDeleteDude, one word:
MAGIC
More troll science!
ReplyDelete@Anonymous
ReplyDeleteTrolled.
This comic needs more Twilight coming in a yelling "Science doesn't work that way!"
ReplyDelete(and Celestia ignoring her, of course)
Send it to the moon?
ReplyDeleteSo...Celestia has...The Power? oAo
Science brony here,
ReplyDeleteHelium does not make balloons float because it has negative mass. It makes balloons float because it is less dense than air. That is the same reason why Twilight's hot air balloon floats, because hot air is less dense than cold air.
If you inject an apple with helium (assuming it's even practically possible), it will actually have a slightly greater mass, meaning it is heavier.
@Anonymous
ReplyDeleteTrolled.
Doesn't being trolled suggest that the person is mad? I don't understand how calmly pointing out basic errors constitutes being trolled.
ReplyDeleteOH GOD, YARANAIKA APPLE
ReplyDeletehow this would work with a few edits for reality :P
ReplyDeletestep 1: attatch magnet to the bottom of an apple
step 2: attatch balloon to top of apple full of helium.
step 3: buy apple, the magnet will hold it on the plate and the helium balloon will make your apple lighter
problem celestia :P
@Anonymous
ReplyDeleteAJ; she mad.
Even without schloopy loopy arms, Trollestia makes er'ryone mad!
ReplyDeleteAlso, everyone above this comment is jelly. :D
awsome comic and congrats on 5 mil.
ReplyDeletehow that counter works? There are hundreds of bronies smashing angrily f5, right. Or just Trollestia?
ReplyDeleteWow. Celestia must be really evil if she can troll such a cute face like the one Applejack has.
ReplyDelete@Sethisto
