• 2D Pony MMO Sprite Progress

    The 2D Pony mmo still chuggin along!  Urimas just sent me a whole pile of new sprites for the game.  You can find all of those below!

    Also a heads up to any other sprite artists out there- He is currently seeking some assistance with the rest of these.  If you guys are interested feel free to contact him on his DA page, also found below!

      That's so awesome, props to Urimas for attempting such a huge project. You have my support man, if I had any skills in sprites or anything I would totally lend a hand.

      yeah. It would be nice if these could be separated into individual sprites and put into a .zip for easy use.

      Er... what do you mean by separate into individual sprites?
      It's trivia, computation-wise, to separate sprites from one large image. In fact, it would be more efficient, since you only have to open one file to read in all the sprites for one character. As oppose to around 200~300 separate sprite files, each requiring a separate file handle (which is slow).

      You see those Rainbow Dash sprites? Those would work well for the Sonic 2 using Dash game

      Uh...those sprites weren't really meant to be "shared" shared....in fact, that's why the background and the noise dots were added, so that people wouldn't steal them before they finished the game, or at least, the public release.

      I'm doubting they would make it EASIER for other people to use them.

      @Urimas Ebonheart That sprite game test, you know the one with Scootaloo? I played that for an hour, even though you can't do much.
