newsflash: anime is cartoons and this fanbase is pumping out so much stuff that it almost rivals everything japan does for it's shows. It was inevitable
the 2ed video is quite good but the first one makes pinkie sound WAY off key. almost like some one singing the lyrics to a different song. it's like oil & water without an emulsifier.
Wait if i like anime does that make me a weeaboo? o_o even if i prefer dubs? i thought that's what you call a person that prefers everything that's japanese over anything else?
Actually, Fukkireta is more of a Niconico-exclusive thing, not an Anime thing. A Japan internet meme thing, really. Nothing more than a tune someone came up with that exploded into something much bigger.
Sadly, I didn't find the mix to be that interesting. Maybe if the lyrics were mixed to the Fukkireta vocal melody.
Weaboo originally meant that, but now it's more of a term that if you like anything at all that comes out of Japan you're a weaboo. Even if it's just their history or something like that, you're a weaboo. I've seen full blooded Japanese who live in Japan called that. It's lost it's meaning over time.
Well, a lot of people got into MLP because it reminds them of anime, including me. The characters are reminiscent of Azumanga Daioh in likability and complexity. The cute is the kind of thing that moe anime have trained us to love.
A lot of people get into anime because it's hard as hell to find certain genres in american cartoons. I'd shit bricks if I found a good psychological/psychological-horror cartoon in america. People who don't like ANY anime either have something against animation in general, or haven't seen the right ones.
Cartoons and Anime are far too smiler for me to really like one more than the other.
BTW Lion Kind is a big rip off of an anime, just to prove the similarity point.
Every time I see one of these it makes me even more glad I discovered that music-less No Fear song over on the Hub site and that Sethisto felt it worth sharing.
@AnonymousThe only thing Fukkireta has to do with anime is the style of the picture. You clearly have absolutely no idea what idea what you are talking about.
A miku version would be quite interesting, I must say.
As to the people who hate on anime, there is no real reason to hate it. It is still just a cartoon like anime. Plus, some of the best things animated come from Japan, imo (I'm looking at Miyuzaki). So how about we go with the old saying, "if you have nothing nice to say, say nothing at all"
>filthy weeabo >my current favorite animation is american. >lolwut?
This ain't weaboo, this is a true animation fan. *puts on sunglasses*
For real though, what's up? Bronies don't act like this unprovoked, something going on? There's gotta be something behind your hate, some reason to this rhyme. People hate for reasons, if you could tell me WHY you thought anime was no good, I could hear you out a lot better.
>Also having doubts your a brony at all, but, whatever.
The first one sounds horrible only because the creator didn't alter the key of either song. The chord progression actually matches up magnificently, but the songs are in different keys, making the finished product sound completely unrelated. I'm sad.. it should be edited for its crazy potential.
Alright, alright, I'll try again to match up the keys :/ Tried that once (actually twice, once with Pinkie, once with the BGM) while creating the vid, and I didn't really like the distorted voice nor the changed accords that came out of it. Also, I'm not very experienced in remixing yet ^^
But okay, you win, I'll see if I can find the file and try again :)

wow, i love the second one
VastaKustutaWow the second one was great
VastaKustutaI didn't really think the two songs from the first went together that well though, still it was a good mix
Why is everyone a fucking weeaboo? Anime is awful and you should all feel awful.
VastaKustuta@Anonymous
VastaKustutaWay to love and tolerate, kiddo.
Fluttershy still loves you, though, even though you show meanie tendencies ;)
@Anonymous
VastaKustutaThat's a very meaniepants thing to say. Have you learned NOTHING fro the show?

I didn't like the first one as much as I wanted to. But the second one was great.

VastaKustutaWell that's stupid :/
I geuss i'm a "weeaboo" then for liking Full Metal Alchemist >_>

Loved the second remix, btw.
Really should switch around the order, considering the second one is far better.
VastaKustutaOrder isn't really quality usually, It's just easier on the front page to compile youtube embeds.
VastaKustutaEvery time I see one of these it makes me even more glad I discovered that music-less No Fear song over on the Hub site and that Sethisto felt it worth sharing.

VastaKustutaSo "weaboo" is the new "hipster", eh?
@AnonymousThe only thing Fukkireta has to do with anime is the style of the picture. You clearly have absolutely no idea what idea what you are talking about.
VastaKustuta@NeverGoBak
VastaKustutaEw, do NOT compare MLP to anime you filthy weeaboo. It's NOTHING like anime. Nothing. Azumanga Daioh is fucking garbage. Complete disgusting garbage.
Way to insult the show this blog is about. Fucking weeaboo.
Problem, anon? :]
VastaKustuta@Anonymous
VastaKustutaYou're sure not taking the show to heart very much. I'm not an anime fan at all myself, but that's no reason to hate on people who do like it.
call me when they use hatsune miku
VastaKustuta@Anonymous
VastaKustutaParasprite detected, and not a very subtle one either.

(In case I screw up, this is still NeverGoBak)
I am a weaboo. Sue me
VastaKustutaPinkie Pie meets Jethro Tull?

VastaKustutaThat picture from the first mix isn't from an anime.
VastaKustutaIt's a mascot of a computer software.
Pinky's Rubber Ball has earwormed me all day. This must go to the iPod.
VastaKustutaAlright, alright, I'll try again to match up the keys :/ Tried that once (actually twice, once with Pinkie, once with the BGM) while creating the vid, and I didn't really like the distorted voice nor the changed accords that came out of it.
