Apparently a brony in the Marine Corps has been spreading ponies throughout his barracks! These are some marker-drawn additions to the walls. I guess a small segment of them almost got Pinkie Pie printed on to their shirts for physical training, but unfortunately the higher-ups saw it at the last second and shut the idea down! The bastards!
Apparently Dash has infiltrated the German Airforce as well!
Any other military bronies out there?

Military brony checking in. :)
ReplyDeleteHoly shit those are adorable
ReplyDeletegood man, good man.
That marine has some real artistic talent.
ReplyDeletespread the love man! those guys could use it.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if this has anything to do with BlackGryph0n... He and some marine pals are surefire bronies.
ReplyDeleteWar has changed...
ReplyDeletenavy bronie here! i've been trying to spread the pony love among my shipmates.
ReplyDelete>Marine Corpse
ReplyDeleteAnyways, this is awesome! Friendship is Superior Firepower!
eagerly waiting for the episode that addresses PTSS
ReplyDeleteI salute to this loyality!
ReplyDeleteArmy brony here, ponies gave me motivation to get through Ranger training!
ReplyDeleteThis is how manly this show is.
ReplyDeleteI don't think people in the military really capture the essence of MLP. What with...killing people without question and all that shit. Especially marines.
ReplyDeleteThis is proof that almost no man is safe from the charm of FIM...not that we want to be safe, mind you.
ReplyDeleteUSAF Brony here.
ReplyDelete@Anonymous
ReplyDeleteJust because our world isn't the paradise that is Equestria doesn't mean we can't take comfort in the innocence that exists. If it were up to most of us, I'm sure we'd be more than happy if we never had to take up arms against someone else, but unfortunately, our world is far from perfect.
I support my military bronies!
Those ponies are all pegasi... Are we sure that brony is with the Marines, and not the Air Force? :)
ReplyDeleteArmy Brony checking in.
ReplyDeleteSaving that image to my MLP folder now!
ReplyDeleteHaha, this is amazing! We need more Army Bronies!
ReplyDelete@Anonymous
ReplyDeleteSomeone else noticed that they are all pegasi! Haha! The reason for that was I didn't have the right markers for any of the the other characters. Except pinkie pie... she's the newest addition to this wall, haha!
:)
Good to see that there are other military bronies other than myself out there! ;)
if any of you have killed people, i hope you meet some awful fate. anybody who kills without question is an idiot and a savage.
ReplyDeleteMy dislike for the military has suddenly disappeared.
ReplyDeleteNice way to preach the love and tolerance there, anonymous who posted at 12:52 PM PST. How about those who killed because they were fired upon first?
ReplyDeleteYou know, I'm pretty sure Twilight and the rest of the mane cast didn't exactly know they weren't going to kill Nightmare Moon. In fact, they might of believed the only way to stop her was to either seal her or kill her.
Guess for the mere thought that's what they thought they were doing, they deserve to die by another ponies hands.
You dare insult the defenders of america? Get some perspective. Would you rather the armed forces let us all die? Life isnt perfect. Suck it up. They fight and DIE for YOU. And you repay them with hate? You disgust me.
ReplyDeleteThey should bring cannons back into military use just so the can paint the cannonballs like parasprites.
ReplyDelete@Anonymous
ReplyDeleteYep, tell that to all the allied soldiers who fought in the World War II.
Anyway - brohoof for all the military bronies out there:)
Haha! This is getting out of hand.
ReplyDeleteLets all just hug it out, and realize that everyo-... everpony here shouldn't be judged without knowing them, military or no.
Lolz at the "debate" about the ethics of war going on ITT. It could use some more math, however.
ReplyDeleteI read a comment on an episode on the old Masterlink channel saying he was a 23 year old in the U.S. Navy.
ReplyDeleteTo all my bronies in the military, U.S. and otherwise, I salute you and I thank you for your hard work.
USAF Veteran Brony Reports As Ordered!
ReplyDeleteThat is some insanely wonderful art. I love how it has been drawn in the artist's own style. It makes it look so much more cool and interesting to look at
ReplyDeleteBrony in the ATC, I will make a Pinkie in the sky one day.
ReplyDeleteEven the military isn't safe. Now its time for the general crowd with giant posters
ReplyDeleteAnyway, Love that art
Well, if they ever make an Equestrian military episode (in a future season perhaps?) it wouldn't surprise me, although it would still be awesome, if the service responded in kind with a patch or something. I mean, heck, Bugs Bunny is a fictional cartoon character and got a REAL military rank for positive portrayal of soldiers ("the real Superman"), and a pony as a cavalry icon would make perfect sense too.
ReplyDeleteThere's always that picture of Rainbow Dash saluting with a flag behind her too.. and she DID express interest in joining Celestia's royal guard, who likely would have a boot camp.. hmmm..
*is now imagining R. Lee Ermey as a pony; drill instructor, of course*..
Something to consider suggesting for Season 2 or 3, maybe?
USAF War Vet brony here....ok I was only Public Health but come on, you'd brag too if you were a war vet...right?
ReplyDeleteAFROTC brony at Texas A&M. Going to commission in 2 years.
ReplyDeleteThat is some gorgeous artwork.
ReplyDeleteModern military in many countries is really no stranger to pop-culture, is it? It's not the Crusades anymore, people are people wherever they are. Not much of news of there.
Also, personal advice from someone coming from a family with long-standing tradition of military service: never allow anyone you know to join the military, for any reason, ever; if you're in, quit immediately, and never look back.
Canadian Forces brony falling in.
ReplyDeleteal-kaeda brony here
ReplyDeletetrollface.jpg
@Anonymous
ReplyDeleteI'm not the only ATC Brony? Sheesh, small world
Semper Filly!
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to Air Force pilots pulling out a Sonic Rainboom now.
ReplyDeleteThis is awesome!
-(what do you call a female brony?)
Army Medic Brony here, currently deployed.
ReplyDeletePonies give me the strength not to strangle my patients for hurting themselves by doing something stupid.
@Gaz
Brony.
@Anonymous
ReplyDeleteSo, a Dash fan, huh? :)
@Gaz >what do you call a female brony?
ReplyDelete"Brony."
Don't question Internet.
US Coast Guard reporting!
ReplyDelete@Anonymous
ReplyDeleteDon't feed the parasprite, brony.
I am nobody in particular, just a nobody, I'm not military and I'm not an avid MLP fan but to any and all military bronies out there who fight for us back home and can cling to a show that lets us all know that the world isn't all hell I salute you and your fellow bronies fight the good fight so that one day...maybe we won't have to anymore
ReplyDeleteok i don't think the military is safe for ponies... what if somepony gets hurt!? we should just leave the fighting up to the big scary humans.
ReplyDeleteArmy MP Brony reporting.
ReplyDeleteDefinitive proof that ponies are awesome for any neighsayers.
ReplyDelete"Dude, ponies? What the hell? You a five year old girl now?"
"Are you calling the Marines a bunch of five year old girls?"
"WTF are you talking about?"
*shows them this*
"...fuck."
the german air force just became 20% cooler
ReplyDeleteBrony from Russia military reporting
ReplyDeleteBrony pilot in training for the USAF callin' in
ReplyDeleteYoung brony destined for West Point here. Soon ponies will take the oldest US Military Academy as well.
ReplyDeleteDash-land uber alles apparently.
ReplyDeleteHm, these are some good artists.
ReplyDeleteIf anyone cares, the uniform hanging from the blackboard has Oberfeldwebel insignia, which is roughly equivalent to a US staff sergeant if i'm not mistaken.
ReplyDeleteRainbow Dash, faster then a EF-2000 and 20% cooler to boot
ReplyDeleteI have to say, just knowing that there's room in the armed forces for Ponies gives me some comfort that they're still real people.
ReplyDeleteWin. So much win.
ReplyDeleteNot in the armed forces myself, but I respect and look up to all those who serve or have served their country.
@Anonymous
ReplyDeleteThe anon at 4/16/11 2:02 PM wins serious Internets.
Rainbow Dash salutes all members of the armed forces, and so do I.
ReplyDeleteI'm not surprised at finding other bronies in the services. Shouldn't really be writing on walls though...
ReplyDelete>US Air Force Brony
I think Science_Fox is part of some military branch. I think it was a video he linked that first introduced me to ponies actually ^^
ReplyDeleteTo those in the military:
ReplyDeleteThank you for putting your lives at risk to ensure the safety of the rest of us. You may get crap from some, but I just wanted to let you all know that you have this brony's deepest gratitude and respect.
Semper Equos
*sigh*
ReplyDeleteSo much for love and tolerance
Tolerance is respecting other people's viewpoints.
His view was that people who kill without reason are idiots and savages. I agree. Nopony should ever kill anypony else without a damn good reason.
Now his hope for an awful fate, yes that is not very friendly. It is perfectly ok to point out that.
Now onto my opinion about the ethics of war.
But your response, (And I don't mean this in a disparaging way. I just feel that respect of others' opinions and the ability to intelligently speak about them is important.)
is about the anon is question daring to insult the "defenders of America".
That's a bit over the line. Defenders of American Ideals certainly. But America was not directly threatened by Korea, Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan or Syria. But its ideals were.
Now I'm not knocking these soldiers. Unfortunately, war is expected of us internationally, and if we didn't have a strong military, we would be attacked.
*sigh*
If only the world could learn about ponies.
I'd like to teach the world to sing in perfect harmony. . .
If it weren't for the American forces, my Korean homeland would be reading little red communist books and worshiping Kim Jong Il before every meal.
ReplyDeletePeace out!
I can't wait to start seeing pictures of ponies stenciled on to thing when I visit /k/.
ReplyDeleteArmy Medic Bronys should have Nurse Redhearts cutie mark printed on the shoulder of their uniforms. :D
ReplyDeletethis is how the conflict in libya will end
ReplyDeletenot by force
not by surrender
but through negotiations through brony commanders
ponies will save the world
eventually
we just have to get some military officials to love ponies
Army brony here. :D
ReplyDeleteThis confirms MLP FiM as the manliest show in the world if it can invade so many armed forces xD
ReplyDeleteNavy brony here! Hoo yah Rainbow Dash!
ReplyDeleteEx-military here. 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment (AY-EE-AH!), M1A1 tanker, Operations Desert Storm/Shield.
ReplyDeleteUSCG Veteran brony reporting for duty!
ReplyDelete@Anonymous
ReplyDeleteYou obviously have no clue what the military is then. Most of us aren't running around shooting people and blowing up buildings. Most of us will never even be in combat. Lots of us do very civilian-type jobs, we're just working for the government.
@Anonymous
ReplyDeleteYou are an imbecile. I am sorry for your ignorance.
And military haters, need to go out into the street and get shot. Your life is safe and secure because of people who stand in harms way. I Read some of these comments, you chickens shit. If I were a healthier man I would of joined the army just to prove my undying appreciation for having them.
ReplyDeleteYou best better rethink your life, and those around you to make it safe for you. Selfish little tree huggers.
Specialist brony reporting for duty.
ReplyDeleteParamedic/Firefighter brony going into the Air Force, does that count?
ReplyDeletewhoa whoa whoa, why can't everypony just get along? that's like the whole point of the freaking show, I mean cmon people you should know that FRIENDSHIP IS MAGIC
ReplyDeleteyay @ German Airforce
ReplyDeleteMy homecountrys army is now 20% more awesome
Even Celestia has an army so shut up haters.
ReplyDeleteThat's awesome! I would love to see Pinkie Pie or some other pony art on the side of a military jet. Kind of like how those 1940's bombers had those girls drawn on the side. They still do that now-a-days right?
ReplyDeleteBronies lead the way! Hoorah!
ReplyDeleteWhat I'd really like to see is a fighter jet painted in Rainbow Dash's colors performing the sonic rainboom.
ReplyDeleteThe Ponynet is leaking. And it is wonderful.
ReplyDeleteI'm trying to get my Dad (in the air force) to be a brony. And my grandparents (Grandma's retired, Grandpa works at a training school, I think) to watch it too. Oddly enough, my parents met while they were in the military.
ReplyDeleteI didn't know so many army bronies had Internet access
ReplyDeleteAir Force brony here!
ReplyDeleteAs the brother to a military would-be ex-Army brony, I'd like to say thank you to all those that serve, both in the USA and around the world. You are better ponies than I.
ReplyDeleteThat being said? Freaking. Awesome. Art.
I'm so thankful for the military. If it wasn't for those men and women protecting our country, we wouldn't be able to sit back and watch MLP back at home. God bless the U.S.military! :D
ReplyDeleteI'm a military brony xD from the argentinian army.
ReplyDeleteAir force, marines, army, & more.
ReplyDeleteNot just from America, but also Germany, Argentina, and who knows how many other countries?
FiM will unite the world. Soon enough, everyone will see how pointless it is to fight when they can instead talk about Fluttershy's cuteness or Rainbow Dash's awesomeness.
And Lauren Faust shall go down in history as the woman who made the children's cartoon responsible for world peace.
God I love this fandom. XD
U.S. Infantry brony here.
ReplyDeleteI'm gettin rainbow dash on my zippo To spread the love to the othe tar lungs.
Now, if anyone would be awesome enough to make a Rainbow Dash sticker an put it on a plane...

Praise the lord, and pass the Ponies!
ReplyDeleteSilly Anon, ponies arent ammo
ReplyDeleteTo the milibronies,
ReplyDeleteEveryday you fight, you protect Lauren Faust.
Everyday Lauren Faust lives, more poni is made.
The more poni that is made, the more happiness spreads.
In essence, your actions will ensure world peace.
To all the bronies in the armed forces, you are the reason the rest of us can enjoy this show in peace. I salute your service.
ReplyDelete- A civvie brony who does U.S. Army research work
To all you military haters, I quote.
ReplyDelete"If you can't stand behind the military, please feel free to stand in front of them."
Anyway, I'm not in military yet. Plan to join USAF, though.
Thank you, to all our troops, bronies or not.
April 16, 2011 6:13 PM while you are correct(imo), the current conflicts are more a defense of ideals, i must respectfully disagree on your point, merely because it comes across as you saying that defending ideals is all our fine men and women do. my perspective is more along these lines:
ReplyDeletewhile their current employ involves protecting american interests, their mere existence serves as a deterrent from the US becoming another country's "interests". my army friend's Airborne unit is on quick reaction duty, which means if something happens they are there to jump outta planes and rain hellfire on any unwelcome force that stands in their way. not to mention our overseas forces would be immediately recalled to protect the homeland, and other countries know that.
tl;dr: it is my belief that the presence of soldiers defends the country no matter what, albeit not always in a direct manner.
on topic: glad to see our boys(and those of other countries) have something to keep their morale up. stay strong bronies!
AWESOME!!!
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing the magic and life three little ponies can bring to a wall!
ReplyDeleteI, too, am a Marine brony!
ReplyDeleteI must find this Marine! I've spent many a day attempting to convert others around me, with mixed rates of success.

Navy Brony present and accounted for. Hooyah!
ReplyDeleteIf I had to pair them up it would be
Army= Applejack: Stubborn and work hard.
Marines= Pinkie Pie: Crazy and love to party.
Navy= Rarity : Attention to detail/too many uniforms
Airforce= Rainbow Dash: Seem lazy, but get stuff done.
Coast Guard= Fluttershy: Help everybody, don't see many of them/NEVER make them angry.
And Twilight= every officer: talk/think too much, have someone doing the physical labor, but still useful in their own right.
Ony objections?
future US Air Force brony checking in.
ReplyDeleteBronies in the US Marine Corps and Luftwaffe.
ReplyDeleteMy Little Pony: Friendship is Magic: The Lili Marleen of the 21st Century!
