ReplyDeleteHeck, i thought it was Owlicious too, but i -always- though it sounded odd how they pronounced it, and it took someone being a jerk and making fun of me for thinking it was Owlicious to think about it :P
I had never heard the name before, but Aloysius was apparently snuffleupagus' first name (yeah, i was never a huge Sesame Street watcher anyway) and was also James Joyce's confirmation name, which is awesome, and considering Twilight named it, i wouldn't be particularly surprised if somepony wrote Portrait of the Artist as a Young Colt.

I can't believe Angel won. He has been somewhat unkind to Fluttershy on multiple occasions, which is UNFORGIVABLE.
ReplyDeleteAngel is a complete dick, but he's also the only one so far to get major screen time. Winona and Opal have been in a few episodes, but only very briefly

Aloysius is smart,nocturnal and intelligent than other pets :P
ReplyDeleteAngel might have the most screen time of any pet so far, but Philomena has more personality and characterization than any other pet even though she was only in one episode.
ReplyDeleteAngel has the most depth, being a good, helpful pet who happens to be cranky most of the times that we see him.
ReplyDeleteI still wanna see a Pony Pet Playtime episode of just them doing their things. Possibly with tiny Elements of Harmony. Spike's the leader, naturally.
Philomena trolled Fluttershy and he did it in such a way that the fandom didn't cry for his head.
