I like it. I always wanted to hear more than the few seconds of that song in the show. They cut it off just when it was getting good. I only wish there was an official full length song.
I play this music all day long although it is not perfect. But it has its own edgy charm. My second most favorite track from this season so far (besides Pinkie Pie's cupcakes).
I loved "Green Isn't Your Color" because Fluttershy is my favorite. I thought she was an amazing model. And this song was one of the best BGM tracks from that episode.
I also appreciated the link (at the video's youtube home) back to the relevant section of "Green is Not Your Colour", because it reminded me how awesome Rarity is.
I creamed my corn when I saw that someone made an extended version of this song. From the few seconds I heard in Green Isn't Your Color, I could tell I loved the song.
To all those who say it isn't that great or is just okay: your love of music is different than mine, and therefore invalid.
When I first herd this music, I immediately started downloading the mp3. At about 2 minutes in, the mp3 finished downloading and automatically started playing in my player. The two tracks synched up just a little bit off beat and it was epic.
This is even more awesome hearing it again a day later. The best part is where the growling baseline with the accompanying second-hand beat transitions to a reprise of the main theme at 1:47.
