Ponies are spreading once again! This time to Destructoid. Unfortunately, they are only a side piece to an article about sonic, but more limelight is always good right!? Especially positive limelight!
You can find the article below!

This reminds me of an even smaller pony-related side piece I found earlier today:

Just a picture at 2:31, but it made me smile. "Our play is more fun than ever."
Our influence grows.
ReplyDeleteI resent the notion that you have to be an 8-year old girl to enjoy MLP. You can also be a 24-year old man who has the urge to "D'AWWW" at every pony picture he finds on the internet.
ReplyDelete...wait, I need to re-evaluate my life choices don't I?
Oh my God, THAT argument again?! Shit, I thought I was good and done with that bullshit five years ago. To be honest, that kind of bitching just gives a gentle taste about how... how... immature and illogical a good chunk of that fanbase can be. This, of course, is coming from a former Sonic-tard, but... Ugh, I don't even know anymore.
ReplyDeleteAt least we got some face, right?
One step closer to world domination.
ReplyDeleteJust as planned.
@Bejoty Pinkie, you are SO random.
ReplyDeleteYeah I've read it yesterday, basically SEGA thought it would be cool to make a trailer with both the classic and new Sonic to appeal to the fans from all generations. Unfortunately, as Zarkanof pointed out, it only revived that old pointless debate.
ReplyDeleteThat was a very good article, even if it refers outside of ponies.
ReplyDelete@AnonymousThe reason for the addition of the two is, according to rumor, that the next game will feature classic Sonic stages remade using the mechanics from Unleashed and Colors. Should be pretty cool.
ReplyDeleteStill, it's a good article, and the addition of ponies only makes it better.
Personally, it's the popularity and the broad audience of MLP:FiM is why I call this show "The Sonic SatAM of 2011!" The two series are equals in my mind.
ReplyDelete<3 Dtoid, I noticed this last night, I was just casually reading the article, and then bam, ponies. Also, I love how all of the comments either ignore the ponies completely, or only comment on how awesome ponies are.
ReplyDelete@David Foxfire
ReplyDeleteThis had been my stance a couple months ago. Now, I rank FiM above SatAM.
Never, in my almost 20 years of SatAM devotion, would I have surmised that I'd find a North American cartoon with a main cast numbering six (seven if the dragon sidekick is included - check out that uncanny parallel eh?) that I'd enjoy more than SatAM.
For the love of Lyra, I'm exceedingly glad I was mistaken.
@Anonymous
ReplyDeleteNah, I bet the author watches the show, and only said that to avoid loosing "cool points" that are so important on sites like this.
@Zarkanorf
ReplyDeleteThe argument will never ever end. Ever.
I can't help but admit that I'm happy to see Sonic and ponies mentioned together. Sonic might have the worst fanbase ever, but I just can't let it go.
They are STILL arguing over his eye color? SRSLY?
ReplyDeleteFirst time I saw his modern design I didn't even NOTICE (well, I was 8 back then...)!
Anyway, yay ponies everywhere!
