I always enjoyed these. Its always nice to just hear the voice actors by themselves.
The only one I find weird is Pinkie's You Got To share, because the piano is right there! Infact, you can see Spike banging the keys and not a single note comes out...unless Spike isn't actually playing...but synchronizing to a recorded tape...
Where are all these Bronies getting such goods? Is the FIM staff leaking it out to us? Because that would be the coolest thing I've heard about in any fandom.
I don't know how, but this is just mainly speculation. I am probably guessing people download the episode and make part of the audio barely audible. Its something like the base or treble or something like that.
'Course, then again, I am not much of a technical fan...
It's a trick you can do with the various tracks in Dolby 5.1. In a lot of cases the voice and music are on different speaker lines, so you can separate them to get only one or the other. There's usually a small amount of bleed, though, so you can always pick up a little bit of the music way in the background.
