I dunno, I didn't watch the whole thing. It helps that I never played ME, but I never played any of the Elder Scrolls games either, and the Skyrim trailer appealed to me a lot more.
Maybe it's just that the first two vidya trailers used up all the good clips, so now everything else seems kinda repetitive.
Yes, this does go against one choice of the video (Rarity as Miranda), but I think things mostly fit well here.
(Male) Shepard: Spike (as video establishes)
Illusive Man: Big McIntosh (as video establishes)
Miranda: Twilight Sparkle (unnatural power for her species; talented at organization and leadership; granted, Twilight has 6000x more personality, but no comparison's perfect)
Jacob: Zecora (as video establishes)
Joker: Rainbow Dash (extreme talent for flying; likes flying and speed; has no qualms about cracking wise about friends)
Tali: Rarity (cunning and has talents for re-making and alteration that could sort of be like engineering talents; doesn't like coming in contact with dirty things; Shepard/Spike's true love)
Garrus: Applejack (leadership capacities; well-rounded in physical talents and background; stubborn, dedicated, and reliable)
Jack: Gilda (bitch; does not play well with others; thinks highly of self)
Mordin: Cutie Mark Crusaders (dabble in all fields and pursuits; mind permanently on overdrive)
Legion: Derpy Hooves (derp-eyes indicate multiple perspectives on life which is sort of like having a mind consisting of thousands of different programs thinking independently and in concert)
Samara: Luna (powerful; has serious problems with close relations; single-minded and focused)
Thane: Celestia (as video establishes)
Kasumi: Trixie (talented at misdirection and subterfuge; given to some showing-off)
Zaeed: Doctor Whooves (many talents; haunted by enemies of the past; has seen shit you would not believe)
Grunt: Angel Bunny (temper problems; given to violent reactions; clearly wants to destroy everything he sees)
EDI: Pinkie Pie (mind works at a speed clearly impossible for organic life; annoys the hell out of Joker/Rainbow Dash until finally a bond of respect is formed; look I had to put Pinkie in here somewhere alright leave me alone)
Harbinger: Diamond Dog (as video establishes)
Liara: Fluttershy (passive and quiet; powerfully assertive and determined when friends have been wronged; surprising capacity for understanding high levels of detail)
Wrex: Cheerilee (acts as teacher and guide to her people, imparting wisdom and the ways that society must function in)
Morinth: Diamond Tiara (bitch; cares nothing for anything beyond her own enjoyment)

ReplyDeleteOnly if Twilight is Jack, Applejack is Grunt, and Fluttershy is Tali.
@Darkhawk
ReplyDeletei could see Applejack as grunt and Fluttershy as Tali. But i think Twilight is more like Samara
The track actually somewhat syncs with the ponies XD!!! THIS IS WIN!!!

The reviews were a nice touch, though.
