That is NOT a bubble butt symbol wtf hasbro! At least get derpy RIGHT!
But seriously, these seem kinda fun for a bunch of no name copy paste ponies. I hope they aren't too expensive....
They are essentially bags you buy with a random pony inside. Marketing genius right there! Check out the rest below the page break.
Apparently they are in...Germany right now. Yeep...
You can find the non-figure pictures of the ponies in THIS THREAD on MLP Arena (hint page 4 and scroll down a bit)

How does one go about purchasing these pony bags
ReplyDeleteWow. That assortment of ponies is pretty cool, but I'd still like a proper Derpy.
ReplyDelete...And a proper Rainbow Dash. Her mane's coloring doesn't look too great that way, since they screwed up the order of the colors (Red Orange Yellow Green Blue (no Indigo) Violet).
Where can these be bought?
I need these. Especially Firecracker Burst for some reason (after I get Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy). Oh boy, gambling time! :D
ReplyDeletereminiscent of the old pokemon card packs.
ReplyDelete"I hope i get [insert favourite pokemon]!"
Hasbro couldn't find their flank with all four hooves.
ReplyDeleteUs fans can, will, and HAVE done it better.
Twilight appears to have been cloned and turned into protoplasm in the third picture.
ReplyDeleteOkay, why not.
hey, they messed her up but still, hasbro actually seems to be really trying now! Wonder if Derpy's toy is wall eyed...
ReplyDeleteI need these. Now.
ReplyDeleteI'd hit the grape one.
ReplyDeleteHit as in buy
Yah..
They didnt get derpys cutie mark right!! >:(
ReplyDeleteI... I'm confused.
ReplyDeleteSo, Derpy, Rose, Daisy, Lemon Drop (or whatever's the fanon name of ahegao pony)and apparently a Minty lookalike?
ReplyDeleteAlso crystal/slime unicorn, wtf?
Repainting a cutie mark is easier than repainting an entire figurine. What makes me go 'WTF' is the collection of colour-swapped Twilights/Pinkies/etc. Can't they at least give them different hair!?
ReplyDeleteMore copypasta and half attempts by Hasbro. :(
ReplyDeleteHuh, they look like recolored figures of the main cast.
ReplyDelete(Now if there was someone to buy the bases without any coloring...)
At least there's finally a mini Fluttershy. Do want.
ReplyDeleteThat's not a mini Fluttershy. Look at the hair... that's a colour-swapped Dash. I think.
ReplyDeleteFine for a FIM crowd scene. LOL at the transparent Twilight Sparkle!
ReplyDelete"Derpy" is not really Derpy, it's Lily Blossom, the pegasus that also has a mane G4 toy as well.
ReplyDeleteShe just has one flower instead of three, and appears to have a lighter body this time.
But it's nice to see background ponies with an offical names and a nice variety of colors.
Fluttershy is disappointing, but at least the US isn't missing out when we can just repaint RD.
@Purple Tinker
ReplyDeleteThere is a Fluttershy in the list on the site linked in the post.
Looks like I'm going to Germany!
ReplyDeleteWell, I wish. I love these kind of things, the thrill of opening a random pack and the joy of seeing the pony you wanted right there. It's wonderful.
A side note: when did ponies become translucent? What is that magic Twilight?
@FightingFire
ReplyDeleteIt seems to be some special edition version. There are also special edition Rainbow Dashes and Pinkie Pies.
Must acquire pony
ReplyDeleteOoh~ how lovely. I sure do hope it comes out in America AND get into Target~
ReplyDeleteSo wait, it's possible to get mane cast characters in the bags? That would make it even more interesting.
ReplyDeletePROTOPLASM PONY, OH MY GOD.
ReplyDeleteI shall name her "Flubber".
If I were to get one of these and it was derpy and had the wrong cutie mark, i would paint over it with the bubbles.
ReplyDeleteOoh, kinda like gashapon. Gashaponies!
ReplyDeleteOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG
ReplyDeleteI will buy the Rainbow Dash one for a ridiculous price if I find it online.
I NEEEEEEEEEEEED IT
Oh here's something that crossed my mind. Besides the main cast Lily Blossom and Sweetberry Scoops (the pony on Rarity's Carosel from the toyfair) are the only ones in this series who have their own playful pony single figurines. I'd like a Dewdrop Dazzle or Blossomforth minifigurine. 8U
ReplyDeleteSethisto has good taste. I would buy the shit out of that grape pegasus. She must become a new character!
ReplyDeleteHey cool, I live in Germany!
ReplyDeleteApparently they are about 1,80€ each.

Though I still have to find a local store, that sell them.
Also very unsure if want at all.
Dat almost Derpy! Take my money Germany.
ReplyDeleteClearly that is an Invisible Twilight Sparkle.
ReplyDeleteAlthough my first thought was that it's really strange to see mass-produced ponies in any pose other than the twenty-five year standard pose.
I would personally buy a ton to mod.
Sounds fantastic!
ReplyDeleteEither you get a good pony or you get a pony to paint!
It's good all around!
FFFFF I live in America. Why can't you sell toys right here, Hasbro?
ReplyDeletei'm german but have not seen them anywhere around yet
ReplyDeletei'll try to find out more
They also got Derpy's eye color wrong
ReplyDeleteSo it's clearly her evil twin
ReplyDeleteIt looks like they're using only 5 molds but with random colors. If I had to guess, out of the six main six, I'd say the only character model they're not using is Fluttershy.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad I'm not the only one to notice they got Derpy's eye color wrong on top of the cutie mark. (Yeah I know it's not supposed to be Derpy, but it does look like her).
ReplyDeleteThe transparent ones remind me of the G3 Divine Shine ponies... you know, the ones that were translucent with glitter pieces in their body?
ReplyDeleteall recolors? but still the glittering ones are nice.
ReplyDeleteI HATE HATE HATE how they didn't give Fluttershy her own pose and just made her in the RD pose instead >:(
ReplyDelete(no offense to any RD fans)
