[Sad] You should definitely read the authors comment below the story before diving into this one. Or if you want to roll with dramatic effect, you can read it, read the comment, then re-read it. It's deeeep. Written by RoyGBiv

Looks like while someone else was inspired by Rainbow Dash... maybe you felt a bit with Twilight.
VastaKustutaGood luck to ya *hugs*
twilight sparkle saves the day, again
VastaKustutaThe magic of friendship is undeniable.
VastaKustutaroygbiv and deep?
VastaKustutathats a laugh
Now, see, you give me these choices, but without any context, I can't decide! Read the comment and possibly lose some depth of the story, or don't read it, going against what Seth says is better?
VastaKustutaWAT DO???
Oh. Now I see.
VastaKustutaBeautiful, Roy.
I think an internet-hug is in order.
Deep man, real deep.....
VastaKustutaI think at this point we owe it to ponies to stop confounding them. They're here to help us.
VastaKustutaThanks for the kind thoughts, all. I just... I'm shocked people liked this one. I needed to get it out after seeing the Ponychan thread. I think I need to get back to something light & fluffy to get over all this seriousness I'm delving into... I need to write a new writefiend story, so I think its back to comedy for that.
VastaKustutaIn all seriousness, thanks for the kind words, all. It has shocked me.

The moment I heard Friday afternoon mentioned, I saw where the story was going. Didn't ruin the heartwarming nature of it one bit. Despite the [Sad] tag, this is probably one of the most uplifting stories this week. Good on you for being able to move on from that time and then put your story out there.
Now go, writefriend, and bring some laughter into the world with your new story!
So deep, I ended up in China.
VastaKustutaBut seriously, this was a very entertaining story, with AND without the story behind it. Good job!
This was amazing.
VastaKustutaIf I was near you, there would be hugs and tears.
But for now, just tears.
;_;

VastaKustutaTo say we like the "story" for it's artistic qualities is not exactly what is being said- at least I think- even if that is done very quickly and to the point, in a good way. I think most of us like it- at least I do- because it's at true story about how FiM is helping you become a better person, and grow as a human being, which is exactly the point of the entire show. It's your courage to tell everyone "I'm a huge mess up and I've made some mistake in my life but I'm turning it around right now, because this kids show is touching me!" It's a success story and it is touching. People like seeing other people grow, mature, and become better people. And you're doing just that.
If that seems curt, I apologize, but it's what I feel anyway.
I don't know you, Roy. I'll never meet you in person. But I just read this story and the tale behind it on deviantArt, and the tears aren't staying back. A story doesn't need to be highbrow literature to resonate with the reader. Thank you for sharing all this. Carry on, sailor. You're going to ascend to some incredible heights, and we'll all be cheering you on.
VastaKustutaMagnificent.
VastaKustutaI took the 2nd option.
VastaKustutaWow.
Internet hug.
This has got to be the most inspiring, most deepest story I have ever read.
VastaKustutaI thank you for uplifting my depressed soul.
I really want to meet you and give you a long hug.
I second the ;_;
VastaKustutaawww thats so sad *hugs*
VastaKustutapinkie pie sorta inspires me to be myself...and to eat more (im sort of anorexic)
What does it say about our world that this story needed to be written in the first place?
VastaKustutaWhat Zarkanorf said, basically.
