Wow, that was just increibly generic. Nothing really wrong with it, just...generic.
ReplyDeleteYeah, generic is a good word for it. It doesn't have much that really sets it apart from other ship fics.
ReplyDeleteWell, I just wanted to try to write some normal shipping. Just to see how it went. Lost inspiration about halfway through, so I figured I'd just throw together something really generic.
ReplyDeleteTL;DR it was practice, will make next one better :3
Not a fan of generic; honestly was expecting something like "Not Another Appledash Story".
ReplyDeleteThat pic always make me lol and baww at the same time...
ReplyDeleteAlso, the story wasn't bad. But generic fits it really good.
That pic makes no sense. Without a penis, it wouldn't matter how fast Dash got off...

ReplyDeleteA male or female who orgasms early (and has an inconvenient refractory period) can continue to stimulate their partner via hands/mouth. It's only a problem if that individual is unwilling to continue sexual participation after they orgasm... which is possible for anypony.
You should probably relay this information to Princess Celestia now.
3 stars...
ReplyDeleteI've got nothing else to say...
This comment thread got really awkward, really fast.

ReplyDeleteI totally understand that, happens all the time to me. At least you finished it. I enjoyed it even if it was generic. Some of the imagery was very good!
Generic? Yes.
ReplyDeleteCute? Definitely.
It might be a bit plain and over done, but that doesn't mean that it aint good.
I actually liked it =)
It was... nice.
ReplyDeleteDidn't we go several days without any shipping AT ALL?
ReplyDelete@5t3v0
ReplyDeleteMaybe in the horrible, dark past.
cute, simple, and loving. good job! :)
ReplyDeleteI thought it was pretty good. A little plain in some areas but with an Awwww ending.
ReplyDeleteI liked it.
ReplyDeleteIt's exactly what I wanted out of an Apple Dash story, and had me d'awwing.
The only thing that bugged me a little was Dash's long paragraph right near the end. It's a little awkward and not really in character for Dash. I can't read that bit (starts with "Actually, it doesn’t necessarily have to be...") and hear Dash saying it.
ReplyDeleteIf you're looking for suggestions for next time, I'll throw out one of my pet peeves. It's almost universal in shipfic to eventually wind up with a big "I've always loved you!" from whichever character has been the more reluctant (Dash in this case). I've always thought it would be more realistic and satisfying for the second character to basically accept the first one's declaration of love and let the story wind up with "I like you a lot, and we can give this thing a try."
Generic but still cute.
