      I really hope it's a Luna episode too.

      Twilight and an Owl? I can see that. Owls are normally shown as wise creatures so of course Twilight would like to talk and learn from one.

      Why would Spike be jealous because Twilight is hanging out with an Owl? I mean, it's not like Spike is trying really hard to impress her, nor does he need to, no one else could do his job unless if this owl can magically send letters as well. And it's not like Twilight would completely abandon Spike, I'm pretty sure they both know that he plays a pretty big role in her life and she wouldn't change that for a person she just met. And it's not like she could spend TOO much time with this owl for Spike's tastes, he never complains when Twilight hangs out with her 5 other friends.

      Maybe a romantic thing is going on, like the owl is making moves on Twilight or they seem a little too close, and Spike, being the surrogate little brother wants to protect her (or my SpikexTwilight ship fic is more accurate than I thought?) Or the description could have been worded badly...

      Hmm, so I guess this means that 24 and 25 aren't going to be the two-parter season finale I expected. Unless, of course, they choose to be bastard-coated bastards with bastard filling and leave us with a cliffhanger in the season finale.

      Does this mean there are five sentient (self-aware) species in Equestria? If so, that means that there's ponies (I am lumping pegasi, Pegicorns, unicorns, and Earth ponies in as one group), dogs (Diamond Dogs), griffons (Griffon the Brush-Off), and dragons, and now owls.

      Or, Twilight could just be friends the same way that Fluttershy is friends with animals. Whichever.

      Okay, so cows, mules, buffalo, dogs, ponies, griffons, and dragons. I'm not ruling rabbits as fully sentient yet, because aside from the one example of Angel, we haven't seen any more impressive feats than from the birds, or other animals. Semi-sentient, maybe.

      Oh, the reason I didn't put buffalo in the first time was that I hadn't seen the new episode yet.
