Fluttershy beining ridiculously KAWAII DESU ^_^ as always. I honestly don't even know what that actually means but I've seen it related to stuff like this before.
Oh Fluttershy, don`t ever change.^^ And Sethisto, kawaii means cute in japanese and while I don`t know what exactly desu means, but together with kawaii it means ¨OMG super CUTE¨ or something like that.
Now I have to hang myself for knowing that, because I wish didn`t>.<
@Anonymous @Sethisto : Kawaii desu literally means 'is cute'. It's pretty much the same thing as 'moe', except moe is reserved for characters like fillies or appear to be fillies.
Not find a mate? She had a (brief) modeling career! Probably loads of stallions/fillyfoolers ready to jump her bones. Won't take long for somepony to write fanfiction about her, possibly shipping her with her fabulous fashionista friend, just you wait.
@Anonymous Well. Fluttershy seems like the type of would either break for it or faint at the sight of males. The only way I see it possible is if somepony popped a pill in her....
@Auta Mane Moe means "burning", and describes the passionate feeling fans have towards their favorite characters. Moe certainly includes kawaii traits, but moe also encompasses sympathetic characters and fixations on specific features.
Whie kawaii is a specific aesthetic, moe fixations vary between individuals. Some people like tomboys, others like glasses, and still others prefer to fixate on characters with tragic stories.
Actually, Fluttershy's mom's cutie mark is a bunny. Frankie's t-shirt is supposed to be a stylistic rendering of The Powerpuff Girls (in-joke by Craig and Lauren).
As for the pic itself... she'll always be Fluttermoe to me.
@Naxts and Anonymous Who says that she needs a male to have a filly, especially with all the unicorns and magic in Equestria. Plus who's to say that Fluttershy even likes Colts?
@Fanloser Word of God claims ponies reproduce through normal mammalian reproduction, so her having been with a male would be the most likely explanation for a child (Besides adoption, of course). Artificial (aka magical) insemination might be possible, and also an alternative if she prefers fillies. Really, of all the ponies only Rarity and Rainbow Dash have given hints at their orientation. (both either straight or bi at most, no matter how most bronies ship the latter; She was too friendly with the Wonderstuds during Sonic Rainboom)
@Anonymous The whole, "Word of god," part is laying it on a bit thick, but I get your point. But if you really think about it, they may all be Bi, because the male to female ratio of the population seems a bit skewed, doesn't it?
@FanloserNot my intention I asure you; Just TvTropes' term for explanation by a lead developer (Faust in this case). Well, I can only remember a single heterosexual marriage in the show up to this point, so you could be right.

Fluttershy's mom has the same cutie mark as Frankie Foster's shirt

Adorable! :D
ReplyDeleteI think the only nitpick I'd have is that I doubt Fluttershy would be outgoing enough to find a mate in the first place. LOL

Still cute. A series of all he different characters in the same past/present/future sequence would be cool.

Fluttershy will always be super cute! I bet when she's a parent she'll be the new OPPP.

I love Fluttershy. But she really needs to be more rude ¬¬

@Anonymous Well, she is for the current generation of ponies anyway. Never really did like that term. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteThe pony in the last panel... her special talent is... arson?
