I dislike it. Why do people automatically think 'girls shows' are bad. Such people know nothing about cartoons. This is the reason why this fandom makes me angry so many times. Ignorant babble about things they do not even give a chance, to use as an argument that FiM is good.
Which one of us Mario? We're pretty hard to pick out in a crowd. Unless you mean the one that's sounds like a cross between a troll and a brony... my mind snapped...
I learned to read on Calvin and Hobbes, and looking back those books really shaped my life.
Also, for those of you who are, like myself, dyed-in-the-wool Calvin and Hobbes fans, you might wanna go look up the documentary 'Dear Mr. Watterson", currently still in the works.
@Anonymous You mean this one? I believe it's about Calvin watching TV, even though he claims there's nothing on to watch. Hobbes says go outside, calvin says why he watches TV, and then yeah.
Hahaah. This is doubly awesome for me. In Norway, this comic is named Tommy og Tigern (Roughly translating into Tommy and the Tiger (Go originality!)) and I was named after the main character (Tommy) because of my hair xD
Not to mention the comic strips themselves are hilarious xD
And this fandom just keeps getting better. First, my favorite webcomic gives a shout out to MLP:FiM. Now there's this, my favorite newspaper comic (and the favorite newspaper comic of the webartist who creates my favorite webcomic) edited to sterling precision. Truly, comicking is magic.
Calvin & Hobbes forms much of the basis for how I understand and approach the world. It's always heartwarming to see it crop up now and again, to know that it's probably touched others' lives as it has my own.
@Megumi Yes, I did. It defends this show and actually agrees with girls shows being bad. That just isn't true and I hate how everyone has an opinion about something they do not know. Or making assumptions. @Anonymous Hello, example.
Wow! Thanks, guys! I'm so flattered and happy that you guys liked this so much! I didn't think it'd get NEARLY the response that it did, and this is just the first day! Because of the positive feedback, I am now intending to make some more of these. I have some ideas, and it'll be hard to work around the original strips, but I'll punch them out as fast as I can!
Same for me. I've read and re-read C&H over and over through my entire life, and it has also shaped the way I view the world. I'm so glad that others treasure and love this comic as much as I do.

VastaKustuta@Anonymous
VastaKustutaDid you eve read the whole thing? :/
Ah I remember reading this when I was younger. Those were the days.
VastaKustuta@Megumi Apparently not
VastaKustutaCalvin and Hobbes was Friendship is Magic of newspaper comics. Long live its spirit.
VastaKustutaI loved Calvin & Hobbes back then and I still do. This is awesome!
VastaKustutaI think anonymous completely missed the point of the comic. Plus he or she giving me mixed signals on FiM.
VastaKustutaWhich one of us Mario? We're pretty hard to pick out in a crowd. Unless you mean the one that's sounds like a cross between a troll and a brony... my mind snapped...
VastaKustutaI have every single book-collection of calvin and hobbes comics.
VastaKustutaI approve of this shoop. :D
A troll and a brony? Hmm. A broly? Argh. No wait. Wrong cartoon. Nonsense level IS OVER 9000!
VastaKustutaCalvin and Hobbes is still the greatest cartoon to ever hit newsprint. Anyone who says otherwise is truly a fool.
VastaKustutaeither way this comic is a fairly realistic representative of real world events. This happens.
VastaKustutaMoar please
I learned to read on Calvin and Hobbes, and looking back those books really shaped my life.

This comic is glorious, at least to me.
Calving & Hobbes and Friendship Is Magic. Two fantastic flavours that go great together!
VastaKustutaI've read a lot of Calvin and Hobbes, but it's been a while. And I haven't seen everything yet. So I'm wondering what is the original comic like?
VastaKustuta@Anonymous

Overall comic though... too hard to explain here?
Oh yeah I remember that one.
VastaKustutaSamefriend btw.
love this shoop
VastaKustutaahh, fond calvin and hobbes memories... *drags out his old Calvin and Hobbes books, brushes off the dust, and reads*
good times.
Love Calvin & Hobbes. This shop really depicts the MLP phenomenon well.
VastaKustutaExcellent shop :)
VastaKustutaCan't tell if shopped or legit...

I cannot stop laughing!
VastaKustutaWhoever made this is a GOD.

VastaKustutawell shopped, Cheddah!
VastaKustutaAnd yeah, growing up reading Calvin and Hobbes... <3 warm fuzzies here!
I love you forever for this. I own every single Calvin and Hobbes comic ever made. Ever. This is fantastic. I only wish I had thought of it first.

Hello, example.
Hobbes is just learned a important lesson XD
VastaKustutaCalvin and Hobbes was before my time, but it's still my favorite comic, both now and when I was growing up. That said, this is awesome.
VastaKustutaMy grandma took me to go see Bill Waterson lecture at KSU when I was younger. I feel that he would approve of this comic. Also, Ohio Love FTW.
VastaKustutaWow! Thanks, guys!

...Magnificent.
VastaKustutaI'm sure this happens frequently.
How I <3 Calvin & Hobbes.
If it was Calvin yelling at Hobbes about it, I would like it more.
VastaKustuta@Megumi]
VastaKustutaI read the whole book. And I remember this part. But its remade.
It wasnt about MLP
Perfectly captures Calvin and Hobbes, and perfectly captures the transition to bronydom.

VastaKustutaThis is genius...absolutely genius
VastaKustutaI think Calvin just explained the same reasons why I love this show.
