You did a great job capturing the Doctors personality. I really like it.
ReplyDeleteThanks! I was wondering if I did a good job in that respect! I'm glad you're enjoying it, it should be finished soon!
ReplyDeleteHe should have said "I resemble something called Time Lord", not "human being" considering one of his conversation with Amy.
ReplyDeleteYes, it captures the Doctor quite well.
ReplyDeleteWould his transformation into a Pony technically have been an actual Regeneration, though... my interpretation is that passing through the "abstract plane", as the fic calls it, causes a being to conform (to a certain degree) to the reality it's entering. The Weeping Angels obviously have no power to regenerate, yet they were transformed into Pegasi upon enterting Equestria's Universe all the same.
Ooh, I do love questions!
ReplyDeleteWell to answer both the Doctor's said he could be anything when he regenerates. So I assume that means Time Lords only sometimes look human. That the fall through the abstract plane affected his regeneration, and altered the Weeping Angels. Anyone besides the Doctor would have died, and the weeping angels are really hard to kill. The "Abstract plane" does conform things, but only if they're strong enough to survive. But really it doesn't matter, it can be whatever you want!
Woooo! Great story! Squeak, we nead it's ending so hard!
