I don't know if I would call this one direct shipping, but it's still some Fluttershy/Dash.

ReplyDeletethat was a cute story. I thought flutter shys tiny yays were just ADORABLE ^^
I love the irony at the end where Dash thinks the pony she heard was someone beside Fluttershy. Very sweet story.
ReplyDeleteyay.
ReplyDeleteWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
ReplyDeleteD'aaaaaaaaaaw.
ReplyDeleteSuper adorable. <3
ReplyDeleteVery well written and definitely felt in character there.
ReplyDelete...Yay.
Wow, look at all these positive comments. This is a warm fuzzy feeling that will stick with me all day.
ReplyDeleteI sometimes worry that if my alma mater realized what I was up to, they would demand the return of my degree. But right this moment, I don't think I care. Thanks, everyone!
I D'awwwwwed so hard. You are a supurb writer. You interwove your story so well into the original that I felt like it acctualy happened. Also you had no spelling or grammatical mistakes as far as I could find. Keep writing brony, for all of us.
ReplyDeleteThis was great.
ReplyDeleteWell written, surprisingly in-sync with the episode's happenings - and, I'll admit, I d'awwwed pretty hard at the ending.
Great job.
Fluttershy is too adorable.
ReplyDeleteI love this fanfic. <3
Well, my face just melted completely off. This was beyond adorable.
ReplyDeleteJelloshy made me giggle. :D
ReplyDeleteyay~
'Aaaaaawwwwww, that was absolutely adorable Phoe, if you keep on writing I may just have to let out a little "Yay." of my own.
ReplyDeleteI D'awwwwwwwwed my face off. :)
ReplyDeleteThis story made me promptly vomit puppy dogs and rainbows after reading it due to sheer cuteness overload.
ReplyDeleteyay. :)
ReplyDeleteThe only signficant criticism I ha ve for this is Fluttershy seemed a bit hostile towards the other ponies' presence. However, that could also be chalked up to Having had her expectations subverted and being stressed.
ReplyDeleteMy favoirte part, though, was her practising and getting worried she was too loud for that hour.
Great story.
ReplyDeleteI like the idea of what went to through Fluttershy's mind throughout the whole competition.
My only qualms with this piece is that it was too short!
I wanted mooore.
D'aaaaaaaaawwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww
ReplyDeletePhoe, this was well done. I remember when I first saw "Sonic Rainboom" thinking that it was unfair and unkind of Rainbow Dash berating Fluttershy so harshly in front of her friends after she was working so hard to cheer for Dashie. The "I wish -you- guys could come to the show" as if Fluttershy is negligable.
ReplyDeleteAs another pony said in the comments, "You interwove your story so well into the original that I felt like it actually happened". I kept finding my self agreeing with what you had Fluttershy experiencing at each point. I also felt, "Hey, what the hell is Rarity doing upstaging dear Dashie!"
At the end, I suppose that Dashie at least had the tenderness to lie to Fluttershy instead of hurt her feelings, which is of course ironic since she didn't have to lie, and sad because Fluttershy soooooo wanted Dashie to hear her loving enthusiasm for Dashie's accomplishment.
I also wish this was longer, which shows how much I enjoyed it!
Thanks!
there is a sequel called chasing rainbows
ReplyDeletebtw i didnt make this or chasing rainbows
