Wow, I did not catch the clever puns in there until I said them out loud to myself. I especially loved the zero ten mocking of the trolls. Very well done.
ReplyDeleteMade some minor edits to the google docs version, after I noticed that I described the forest as "dense" three times in the space of a few paragraphs (I'll beat myself with a thesaurus later, as penance). Also fixed a few formatting issues. I'll stop dicking around with it now, though. Thanks again for the kind words, you guys are awesome.
ReplyDeleteThis was so many kinds of awesome
ReplyDeleteThis story had me cracking up, truly a funny story. I definitely liked the puns.
ReplyDeleteThis is probably a stupid question but,
"zero ten! Zero ten!" ?
Requesting clarification on the meaning.
@Sandman
ReplyDeleteReference to people "rating" trolling attempts, i.e. "0/10" or "zero out of ten".
Glorious. Absolutely GLORIOUS.
ReplyDelete10/10!
I nearly shit myself laughing when "Stupid Broni! No feed trolls!".
HOLY MOTHERFUCKING DICKNIPPLES! That's all I have to say. The story speaks for itself.
ReplyDelete11/10
1000 internets for you dear author!
ReplyDeleteCouldn't stop grinning after introducing the non-moose. Brilliant!
ReplyDeleteOh god I havn't laughed that hard in a while, I think 'Zero ten! Zero ten!' will forever be implanted in my memory.
ReplyDeleteVery cool, I can't say I get the 010 thing though.
ReplyDelete9001/10

@Anonymous
ReplyDeleteIt's flipping the bird, just for a three-fingered hand. They're basically saying "up yours" to the attackers.
Very clever, and yet, also very sad.
