That....was oddly beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI don't much care for the coherent Derpy. This onem with her random parlance, studious child and golden heart, is my personal headcanon.
ReplyDeleteThank you for this fic.
Hooves down my favourite fic.
ReplyDeleteIs it just me...or was the author implying that Derpy Hooves is also Summer Breeze? 'Cause that's an awesome twist there.
ReplyDeleteI love Choppers Top Hat's Derpy stories.
ReplyDeleteWell, this was just great. Beautiful, even.
ReplyDeleteIt was nice, a little less subtle towards the end but a fun read none the less. :)
ReplyDeleteI definitely love incoherent Derpy. And the sudden change in demeanor was just pure magic right there.
ReplyDeleteIs it odd I sometimes see Luna Lovegood in Derpy?
@Anon4: You aren't alone. I caught onto that implication too.
ReplyDeleteAs far as I'm concerned, Derpy being the poet Supper Breeze is just brilliant.
Derpy as a writer makes sense. Quite cute.
ReplyDeleteThe story wasn't bad, but would it have killed the poster to copy-and-paste it into a text file rather than taking screenshots?
ReplyDeleteThat was a nice twist.
ReplyDeleteShe's a poet and nobody does know it. I hadn't read this story before, very cute and insightful on how fans see the character.
ReplyDeleteI'm not really that interested in poetry, but I sure do want to hear Derpy reciting one X3
ReplyDeleteI'd love to ask BaldDumboRat if she'd do the 'microwave fresh' line from this. That would be amazing. ^^
ReplyDeleteYep! This is awesome.
ReplyDeleteI wasn't sure I'd like it after seeing a really derpy Derpy, but the ending more than made of for it. I'm very glad Cereal pulled attention to this!
ReplyDeleteThis was one of the first Derpy fics I read, loved it then, love it now.
ReplyDeleteThat ending made me grin like an idiot. I love this, therefore I love the Archeology post.
ReplyDeleteI knew right from the first post that Derpy was going to be Summer Breeze. But you managed to do it well anyway. Grats.
ReplyDeleteI do love word salad Derpy. And there's some pretty tasty salad in this one. (Not to mention I can see the meaning in her madness.) This is a great little piece.
ReplyDeleteI liked it quite a bit, incoherent Derpy is awesome.
ReplyDeleteThe screenshots were a pain, makes me want to transcribe it.
That was great! I wonder if this was an influence on the person who wrote "Today, Tomorrow, and Forever" was influenced by this story? I see similarities in the characterizations.
ReplyDelete@Macon
ReplyDeleteBecause the person that wrote this also wrote "Today, Tomorrow and Forever"
A lovely story. I love Derpy, and the way this was written was very pleasant and enjoyable. A thank you from me to the author.
ReplyDeleteI like the story, but there are dozens of psychological and neurological problems that cause people to speak strangely, and none of them are anything like this.
ReplyDeleteThis is the version of Derpy I love best. Great story.
